you’ve gotta respect any band that are actually musicians. What I mean is at a live show (omg what a concept) they actually sound like their records. Its disgraceful these "artists" that can make studio albums but suck it live. The darkness is way underrated in north america, awesome band

i mean, some artists can make great music, but touring and playing live is a whole other animal they might not be cut out for, and that's perfectly fine because you can just not see them live and still enjoy their studio work

Love the demented silliness of this band, especially the running high five that Dan and Justin do early on, sooooo cheesy !! Great fucking tunes played with joyful abandon, what more could you want.
I actually think The Darkness are one of the best live rock bands because all their music is upbeat and energetic, it makes for an amazing gig.

Holy shit! Why am I only seeing this now! I can't believe this video was uploaded in 2012. I didn't even realize youtube allowed you to upload videos at > 30 FPS at that time. Amazing quality, both in terms of file format and music quality! Opening setlist obviously really reminds me of their Astoria gig in early 2000 (with some notable and amusing variations, e.g., at 4:50) . Great stuff!

The Darkness deliver..again. They seem to combine the best elements of the greatest bands of all time. The heavy rock tuneful harmony of Lizzy, the stage presence and humour of Queen, the originality of Boston, and they're British.
Darby kills it here! I loved Hot Leg, so was cool to see this cameo. Rufus is the perfect fit for the band nowadays, but in an alternate universe where that didn't happen, he'd have been a solid choice.
I love Darby in this too. Slow it down a bit and he would have been great. Rufus is awesome though

first album has something incredible in it, melodies, sounds, structures, solos...it's perfect.
The can be seen as "one hit wonders".. unless you go looking for their music, you'll only really hear - I Believe In A Thing Called Love
Ive seen them live 3 times nothing comes close to seeing them live. After one gig i could hear ringing in my ears for 3 days after lol.
