I like to call myself a self tan connoisseur, because you name the brand, I’ve probably tried it !

I always wanted to get a tan as a teenager, in Romania, and I was always unhappy that my skin just burns and doesn’t tan, while other girls could get a tan at the Black Sea coast in just one or two days. I didn’t want to be so white or burnt always! Funnily, when I moved to Finland later on, it turned out that I was considered ‘dark skinned’ there, and that had never happened to me earlier! And the way my skin tone is seen by others changed again when I moved to India, here I am considered very fair, and it seems to be a good thing, because whenever I happen to get a tan, nobody seems to like it! They say I have become ‘black’. So now I have reached a point where I don’t want to get a tan anymore! I just try to use sunscreen before I go out, because it can get really sunny, and my skin still burns easily.
Kamilla Kovacs people in indian subcontinent are OBSESSED with white skin! They'll NEVER like when u self tan!! An indian will do ANYTHING to have your skin color 😂😂😂 u r so previliged to have white skin in their eyes! Why you wanna self tan - their thoughts! 😆

Among all the self tanners I’v tried, the best one for me is from Loving tan. It’s Amazing! It’s super natural, not orange at all like the others. I lOVE it!!!
I use TanTowel and love it! It comes like a large baby wipe and applies so easily and evenly. It comes in various sizes and 3 different shades. I'm pretty fair skinned and use the lightest shade and always get compliments on my skin. I just don't like products that use the mitt; it never gets on evenly for me. And I don't care what product use, mitt or no, WASH YOUR HANDS after. Between the fingers and around finger nails. A dead give away for self tans.
How do you match your makeup to your tan so well?
I have not tried Tanceuticals, but loveeeeeee Josie Maran Tanning oil, applied with a mitt. Smells great and a very natural deep tan. The oil is so nice on the skin too. Thx for sharing. PS: I use it on my face as well without a problem. ❤️😘

Thanks for this vid! I've had the loving tan 2 hour express and also the bronzing shimmer, but have been afraid to use it all spring until now. I have fair skin but not quite translucent white. And yes, we all seem to want different skin tone, but you do self tanning for youself so I like that.

I never self tan my face as I use exfoliants all the time so it'll fade very fast.
Hi Andrea! Great video! About the shaving just before tan - don’t you find that it stings sometimes and that the tan sits in the pores a bit? Would cold water at the end of a shower help with this? Also, I don’t know the Tanceuticals brand but have you ever tried Cocoa Brown mousse? It’s an Irish brand and wondering if you could compare them? We white Irish girls love our fake tan 😘

Hi Andreea! I do love self tan and I do it every 2 weeks. However, I hate when it comes to taking it off. I have to soak in the bath for like half an hour and then scrub it off. How long does you tan normally lasts? Do you re apply to keep it longer or do you scrub it off and apply a new one? Maybe you do a video on how to remove self tan. X
It's probably better to use sugar. Coffee could possibly clog your plumbing eventually.

Andrea, do I have to take a shower after exfoliating? I'm thinking ha should we remove all that dead/dried skin that comes out when we exfoliate?...or I just put the tanning lotion on top of that dead/dried skin?....or should shower after exfoliating to remove the dead/dried skin and THEN apply the tanning lotion...? please help..
