MERCEDES BENZ C180 W202 | HOT START ISSUE & FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR

Mercedes Benz C180 W202 1.8 Petrol with a hot starting issue.
Some symptoms are: Smell of fuel, hard start, bad fuel economy.
Upon investigation i found issue with a fuel pressure regulator.

I had the same exact problem when i got c180 '97 from my gradma and i took it to the mechanic and only from hearing it he understood and changed it 😂

There is also a ticking noise coming from that engine.

I have a Mercedes c180 EU 1994 and the car can't keep an idle rev. If I don't press on the gass the car just dies.

when ignite my marcedes benz c180 1194, i have to hit the gas for a couple of minuts and if i dont, it shutdown immediately why?

had a small leak in FPR, showed it to the mechanic who grabbed a hammer and a screwdriver, now i have a fully pierced FPR and mechanic recommands to change the injection rail, (dont know how its called in english but in french he said rampe d'injection)
