I use to have excruciating feet pain and i could not sleep with my feet touching eachother it was as if they causes excruciating pain just touching them together i had to sleep with my feet apart. It was never figured out what it was. After about 2 years it subsided but my feet still have never quite felt the same and on the mri they did find a foregin body in my right foot but my doctor said not to get surgury. I had bad feet pain in bothfeet so hes right that the random foreign body in my right foot was another finding on the mri. But still im left with not knowing what is stuck in my foot. My doctor seems to think i should avoid digging for it and should just leave it alone but if there is an object in someones foot do you not need to atlwast find out what it is before you make the judgement to just leave it. I have been living with it and not complaning because im greatful to walk again and not have the burning feet as bad. But still i always am upset i dont know what is in my foot there is no wound on the outside showing j ever got cut on my foot to even get a object stuck so me and my mom think maybe its from birth when i had needles.who knows. Im not sure if the bad foot pain will come back. INDICA weed eorks better them pharmacy pills. And black coffee for stiffness a strong cup. Stay natural edit. I just want to add that for whoever is reading and interested the burning pain itself was not as if my feet were in flames entirely, but yet again iguess it is like that at times..i even had it flare up with sensitivity to the cold and got something looking like raynauds on top of that..but that might be entirely separate..but yed it was a deep deep painful and throbbing nerve like type pain for lack of better definition..the weight of my feet together pressing on eachother seemed exaggerated and evsn if my one foot toes were touching my other heel i would start to feel pain there. It was very scary and i felt very lonely and hopeless did anyone else go through this period? Where you dreamt at night about having no pain wondering if you would ever live without it ..well we all get old eventually anyway but yes there is nothing wrong with wanting to stay young and healthy. But yes the pain for me ts hard to desrcibe ..it was like a dark long tunnel on a dark lonely night and my soul was lost forever ..jjst thinking about how my feet are not allowing my to feel human the pain was so bad. I also learned meditation to cope. I know we are not PROMISED tomorrow but im greatful for any day in less pain...before i do offically have to get old..i hope u all find healing cheers..i dont recall ever using cold water and i do not think that helped my pain much when i did..i tried jce..not much releif at all so i do not relate to people getting releif from cold water i was in hell that would of been heaven.lol

Hookworm disease is a common parasitic infection in many parts of the world. Most people get the parasite by walking barefoot in soil infected with hookworm eggs. Left untreated, it can lead to unpleasant - and sometimes serious - symptoms.
I haven't seen your MRI but if you used to walk barefoot, the foreign body might be a parasite
      Just a guess

What really helps me is to wear socks in bed. It sounds crazy, but because our feet get so hot combined with socks they’ll sweat what is your body natural cooling effect. Really works! During the winter it makes me sleep better also:) See this as a tip but u gotta check with the docter the underlying cause (note to self..).

Hello everyone. I have finally found a way to relieve the nerve pain in feet, which happens due to peripheral neuropathy. The pain feels like a very severe burning sensation in your feet and my solution for the same is massage using a vibrating massage gun and exercise. I am posting here in the comment section of this video so that this can reach the maximum amount of people and help relieve the pain. Please note the causes of peripheral neuropathy vary from one person to the other. So, this solution may or may not work for you. If this doesn't work for you, you can try other solutions given in the videos, such as change in diets, taking the essential vitamins, and the like. This is dedicated to the Lotus feet to Sai Baba. May he bless you. A huge thanks to Michigan Foot Doctors as well.
The problem :- Before going ahead, I will give a little bit of background about the issue. My grandma has had some knee replacement surgeries before and suddenly from the past 3 years, she started feeling incredibly tense nerve pain in the top portion (Talus) of her left leg. It usually started during the night and had her moaning with pain throughout the night.
After a while, it started happening during the day as well. It sometimes disappeared for a day or two but then came back hard. It was always in her left foot and the weird thing was that knee replacement surgery took place in the right leg. We took my grandma to literally every type of doctor in the city and noone could find a cure. Ultimately, we even had an MRI done and still the doctors couldn't find anything. She was not diabetic and all her tests and bloodwork came good. She had lost all hope and after 3 years of constant pain, she prayed to God to take her life just so she could get relief from the pain. We tried all types of home remedies and even tried icing the top of her foot but it was all in vain.
The pathway to the solution :- After losing all hope, I finally decided to do some research on my own. I came to know that this is a condition called "Peripheral neuropathy" and came across several videos of Michigan Foot doctors explaining the issue. If you have not watched them, I highly recommend you to do so. I will put the important links at the end. The doctor in the video suggested three things:
    1. Exercises that focused on the stretching of the calf muscles and lower thighs
    2. Using massage rollers on the calf muscles and lower thighs
    3. Using the ice roller massage ball on the calf muscles and lower thighs
    4. Wearing sturdy shoes with thick soles that can support the foot.
These are all brilliant solutions and I tried all of them with my Grandma. They had a tremendous impact on her pain. However, the one thing that can actually make the most change, is the use of the vibrating massage gun, which can be purchased online or offline in stores nearby.
Using the massage gun :- As you noted, the doctors in the video wanted to massage the calf and thighs to help relieve the pain. Thus, a massage gun works the best in this scenario. I used the gun on the calf muscles of my grandma's left leg (the one with pain) and the moment I touched her muscles with the gun, she moaned with pain. I realized that her calf muscles were very badly cramped. I used the gun on her muscles until she didnt feel pain on her claves. Subsequently, I used the gun on her inner thigh muscles, which I also found to be badly cramped. I found certain points in her calf muscles and inner thighs where my Grandma felt the most pain. When I touched those points with the gun, she could feel the nerves in the top of her foot responding. I was convinced that these spots do have some connection with the pain.
After I was done, the pain vanished. It literally vanished. It was like magic. I started doing the exercises, the icing and the massage roller and gun on my grandma's left leg at least 4 times a day (morning, afternoon, evening, night). With God's blessing, my grandma could finally sleep peacefully and there was very little or no pain in her feet. One day I had to go outstation so I recommended my Grandma to do the exercises herself. She did everything except the massage gun and even though she didnt feel any pain during the day, she felt incredible pain during the night. I believe that this was due to the muscle cramps that had formed due to the lack of use of the massage gun. Now I am massaging her regularly during the designated slots or whenever she starts to feel pain. I focus the gun and the icing on the pain spots in her calves and thighs. This method has been working for my grandma and I hope regular massaging and exercising helps my grandma get rid of the pain permanently.
NOTE: It is generally safe to use the gun, it is to be used very carefully and not too hard so as to make sure that the muscles dont get hurt. Don't use it for more than 3 minutes on the same spot at once.

Sounds like your grandma has a lot of Trigger Points in the gastrocnemius muscle. You should see a doctor who can treat her trigger points with dry needle! it's a myofascial pain syndrome.
