This is just a general channel comment: You guys are great being so normal and completely nuts at the same time. Keep it up :) I like your content but I can bet money that if you'd make a video about shoe polishing it would still be fun somehow😂
I love the look of that airframe, so sleek and sharp. But at 4:52, with that full throttle fly by, it screams like a rear propeller Multiplex Funjet! I've never heard an EDF that loud before.
That is awesome! I would love to see You guys revisit the laser tag dogfights with those aircraft. Maybe Try to make it as repeatable as possible so we can get A bunch of these out to Flite Fest for a different style of combat.
There was three planes from a animated show called battle of the planets. When I grew up if you don’t remember it, I’m not shocked, but one of them was called the Phoenix., the other one was one of the groups vehicles which was an actual jet, which was blue and white, and the other one belong to a group called red impulse
I regularly watched the G-Force team defeating Spectre after school! There were some awesome animations for kids back then, I really dislike the 3D rendered stuff they make these days.
Hey guys! How about a video on your printing techniques with LW PLA? A lot of us have the Bambu Labs X1 Carbon. Or you could share your slicer settings.
@FliteTest I've never printed with LW PLA. I've heard it's a little tricky to get right. I'm interested in printing an airplane some day and I have a Bambu Labs X1-C. I would love to have you guys go over slicer settings and any words of advice for a beginner. This would be a great Flitetest Tech video!
@@FliteTest Any slicer settings that you've optimised e.g. temperatures, cooling, layer heights etc. Do you do anything special for overhangs e.g. water soluble filament? What's the layer adhesion like with the lightweight PLA?
What a great plane. It seems you guys have fully embraced the EDFs! Just a question, it seems that eclipson is not designing in flaps to their models, are there any mods that modelers can do to add them? Being these planes require fast landing speeds maybe adding flaps can give them better landing characteristics??
Wow! that is one slick looking plane. But no carbon fiber? 😥 We need more planes that require carbon fiber. haha! Be aware that if you are painting and the applying vinyl, your vinyl is now sticking to paint, not plastic.
Hey FT guys! I have been working on you F 14 recently and I noticed you guys didn’t have and master series jets. I completely understand if you deny me, however I think it might be worth it for you guys to make an F-111 kit. In many f 14 videos people were commenting on the f14 swing wing mechanism in an f-111. I personally understand if it is too complicated but possibly you guys could put the same swing wing in an f-111 body. Personally the f-111 is my favorite bomber and I would love to build one. Again I completely understand if it is too challenging however I merely hope you guys think about because it is like a dream come true for me
Nice video. I just don't know why it's called INFERNO when the designer did everything to keep it from flying too fast. The double tails, the 4 corners between the rudders and the elevator, the undercarriage "pants"... all this increases aerodynamic drag.
Would be interesting to compare the same model printed in LW PLA and the ASA Aero. The ASA seems to be very prone to stringing, so probably more post processing needed.
wow not seen an interlaced video in a while and defo did not expect to see it on this channel!
Some are still pining for the olden days of video!
Yes, My immediate impression, the joy of interlaced video.
I would love to get your x1c aero pla settings

video quality nostalgia 😎
bring back memories
Glad you enjoyed it

I'm loving the Colorfab LW-PLA-HT filament - far less issues with sag under stronger sunlight.

It is a super slick airplane and extremely slick
@@FliteTest what he meant .. you need a more whooshy EDF unit... not that screamer :)
The red paint gives it a good shine, I love it.
Yes it looked amazing going through the air!!!
Beautiful, sleek lines.. an Eclipson plane is definitely on the to-do list!
Shout out to the drone pilot on this episode. Death defying moves chasing that jet. Well done!
Mike defiantly does a great job
I think a person is born with that ability. I wasn't born with it for sure.
I’ve been watching these collabs for a while and I’m definitely gonna get this one that size is so convenient.
It flies so good we would defiantly recommend

More power, more energy, more passion, more footwork!

@ I was wondering if y’all had ever thought about making planes inspired by g force
@bartlester591 I've seen RC planes catch on fire, perhaps trying to emulate the Phoenix 😂
@ not exactly what I had in mind
I want to see a Thunderbird 2 version with droppable body!
Once again another great plain from eclipsen 👍
Glad you think so!
Hey guys! How about a video on your printing techniques with LW PLA? A lot of us have the Bambu Labs X1 Carbon. Or you could share your slicer settings.
I second this, it would be really useful.
We will have to do this in the next Eclipson Episode. What would you like to know

Great video, Please make a Craycle plane as well. I also love their unique FPV models 🥸
Great suggestion!
More videos like this. Please!
This doesn't have retractable landing gear?
Wow pilot drone👍.sungguh rc pesawat mengagumkan..MANTAP TAMPILAN JUGA KECEPATAN .salam terbang indonwsia
Love it guys!❤❤
Thank you so much!!!
Have you tried LW ASA? It should be much more temp resistant, and stronger that PLA.
Nice, I want more 3d printed models
Ok coming soon. Eclipson is working on a passion project for us that we can't wait to show you!!!
Been watching this channel since i was like 5 or 6

Have you guys ever tried LW-ASA? It looks stronger than pla and handles more heat.
is... is this 1080i?
Bet that one would be great as a float plane.
That might be something to test
360p vid.....Taking me back in time :)
What receiver was used to connect to the tx16s?

Please make a airplane from a old drone
I really want to see you guys design elite dangerous space ships print and fly them plz plz plz
Who flies the drone and how in the world does the drone cam stay on the jet?
Mike does our drone footage. He is defiantly a great pilot

John overstreet is who designs the master series planes so it would have to be him
@ oh
I always thought u need flex in the wings ad all planes wings flex quite a bit
Can you tell me what printer and filament you are using?
They show in the video, Colorfab Lightweight PLA on a Bambu X1C.
Can you guys please share the slicing presets for this? I can’t get vase mode to work on my bambu
In the next Eclipson Video we will go ever more 3D printing settings and tips and tricks
@ awesome! Thanks guys
I used to have a rocket glider that was shaped like this plane.
needs reverse thrust.. a great model..
That would be so fun ... Airbrakes!!!
Are there any good detailed 3d plane plans for free ?
You could check a place like Thingyverse and see if anyone has posted free plane designs

💙💛
what happened to the video
Look at all the chemtrails in the sky 🤦🏻♂️
i thought calling it a jet means jet engine
In rc, planes with a jet engine are called a "turbine"
@Jagers_propeller ok thanks
No Carbon Spares? 👀🫣😅🤣
ha FIXED! ;)
lol not printing in red
Ya ... We thought about that right as we went out to fly 😂
You should switch to ASA aero filament for planes, you'll be able to keep them out in the sun all day
Would be interesting to compare the same model printed in LW PLA and the ASA Aero. The ASA seems to be very prone to stringing, so probably more post processing needed.
You do know that red fades the quickest in the sun
What's your point, never paint anything red?
I am your #229 viewer!
low rider edf , not one i will print just because of the low clearance, what was the point
