F-82 Twin Mustang. I made one out of foam, using two of your P-51 plans, and designed the center myself. My daughter and I had fun tossing it around during lockdown.
A Grumman Goose with retractable gear would be spectacular. Relatively easy starter. Add to that an aircraft which can be amphibious or land on a runway and much fun can be had! Sweet Spitfire and the 3D prices seem reasonable.
Another awesome episode, guys! I would love to see a 3D printed flying boat tested off of the water. 3d printing with waterproof plastic seems like the perfect combo for an RC flying boat.
If you like RC planes you found one of the best channels by far.. I found them 4 - 5yrs ago and immediately started building and flying.. Awesome hobby and watching these guys made it so much easier, saved me a lot of money also lol
I would like to see an S-3 Viking!! I believe that would be an awesome 3D printing experience! Thank you for all the fun you show, while promoting the RC hobby!!!
The duck egg blue on your model used to be painted on the underside of RAF aeroplanes up until the late 1940's or a similar but darker shade all over for the high speed recon late model Spitfires, early spits had one half of the underside black & the other white for recognition purposes, great paint scheme though 😎 👍
A P-40 Warhawk, Please and Thank you. For some reason the community has stopped making them. I also have not seen any companies that are in the 3d printing game that have made one either. Sad, because this is my favorite plane.
I was 14 when I stopped watching your videos and today it suddenly popped a Flite test video and I was already a subscriber it reminded me of the old days and now I am 21 where is Peter he is not in the show anymore?. but I love what you guys are doing and keep doing I am from Pakistan
That thing looks sweet. I love their models, they have a free model as well. I'm too scared to 3D print a plane but I feel like if I invested that much time into a build I might be more careful
I have 2 UAV Vtail 3d printed planes. One is LWPLA the other just regular PLA. The LWPLA is 38% lighter, but the PLA plane flys so much more stable. The extra weight didn't impact my stall speed all that much. I fly using Ardupilot with a massive battery pack. So for long range and stable picture or video the PLA is a winner. For acro planes and LOS flying LWPLA is the way to go.
Another great video guys, I've bought this plane. I believe that Flite Test does more for our hobby than ANYONE ELSE!!! Thanks for sharing with us!! And I think Eclipson should do the Corsair...
Josh & Crew, try a base-coat with Minwax Polycrylic. I just tried it on the 3D labprint Cub and it does WONDERS for stiffness/strength and smooths out the coat for painting/decals!
I just finished printing the new spitfire using gcodes and the Ender 5s all the prints fit perfectly. I already printed out others eclipson planes and this one it the best one for now
If you want a nicer finish, you could use at least 2 coats of automotive spray paint filer (like Duplicolor), and finish it with fabric spray paint (like Tulip) to get rid of most of these 3D print lines (one get rid of big "steps" and lines, the second finer ones left without completely removing all fine details). It work well on most of my printed stuff (especially resin prints since way less rough than wire prints).
What a great classic plane. You asked for what other plane we would be interested in seeing. What about a Douglas Skyraider (AKA Vietnam era Sandy) It would be interesting if the plane could be rigged to drop weapons from its wings. This was a plane that came out at the end of WWII and served through Korea and Vietnam.
Hi Guys, I am Chris in Bulgaria. I have been watching your channel since the days of the star Wars models. I would love to see a Rockwell B1 made. I designed craft when I was a boy and still get creative having just built a model of the Bleriot from parts from the local DIY shop. One thing I noticed in this video and other ones since I make good ones, are replica propellers. You made a MK21 spitfire with a MK1 prop. I liked the blue though. Maybe authentic props make for hard flying, but you guys like the challenge. If you do the Rockwell B1 send me the 3d model and i will make one on my little KP3-mk2 printer. Keep up the quality work, Chris
J-Bix is WAY better a pilot than I believe he gives himself credit for. Also, his knowledge of flying and flight characteristics is pretty impressive, too. Keep up the great work and great vids!
It should be relatively easy for Eclipson to tweak the Spit files to do almost any of the WW2 single engine fighters. A Hurricane, BF-109, Mustang. Slightly bigger tweak to make an FW-190
HI , can you please make a rc dark star from TOP gun Mav I really like your build and also make it fpv and add light in cockpit as well as on plane . fly it at night time only
i've moved away from using PLA because it breaks overtime due to exposure to UV light and am using PETG for all my products now. i think it has better properties for flight components because it is more flexible and better impact absorbent than PLA
If the design works, 3d printed planes make so much sense -- primarily because you can reprint parts that get broken. Plus, good fast 3d printers are so affordable and accessible.
Have you guys tried any of the sound systems available that generate engine noise for the electric RC planes? That Spitfire would be even more awesome with the Merlin sound.
Always love your eclipson videos, can you do one on the Pantera v2? and how about doing a video on anaother great little plane? it is the Shark Aero, you can actualy find the free, yes free! STL files on the Shark Aero website, I have printed one from regular PLA, not evem going to try and fly it, where I am from it is a mission to get LW PLA, thank you for great content, keep it up! you guys rock!!
I recently sold my old Ender 3 and swore I wasn't going to make any more 3d printed planes. After seeing this spitfire, I've just ordered a new 3d printer
I know that eclipson recommends the a1 and bigger 3d printers but do guys think they could make a plane that fits on the a1 mini 180mm cubed build volume?
Great content but Depron is a great construction material that is available in other countries. It would be wonderful if Adam’s could produce a similar product 👌
I think I might have to print one of those out, color it all light blue, no guns, then put the american star and bar on it just to confuse people. there were some of those flying during WWII as photos recon planes, some of them for the americans.
As always I'm 65 and like a kid in a candy store when it comes to watching your videos. Nobody has more fun than the flite test guys
F-82 Twin Mustang. I made one out of foam, using two of your P-51 plans, and designed the center myself. My daughter and I had fun tossing it around during lockdown.
An Avro Vulcan of course!!! If you're using two servos for the undercarriage you HAVE to make one move slower than the other to be realistic ;)
ME 262. Eclipson has made some stunning designs already.
Great build, I would like to see a de Havilland Mosquito for the next build.
Don't know how this popped up in my algorithm but glad it did
If you like flite test you gon be here a while haha go watch the classics
Welcome to the family
Welcome to the family, brother
If you like RC planes you found one of the best channels by far.. I found them 4 - 5yrs ago and immediately started building and flying.. Awesome hobby and watching these guys made it so much easier, saved me a lot of money also lol
Takes me back to the old translucent Spitfire episode ages ago!
I would like to see an S-3 Viking!!
I believe that would be an awesome 3D printing experience!
Thank you for all the fun you show, while promoting the RC hobby!!!
Wow!
The guy with bird in his shoulder looks awesome 😎
DE HAVILLAND MOSQUITO PLEASE
Make the XP-67 Moonbat please. It was just a prototype but really awesome looking.
The duck egg blue on your model used to be painted on the underside of RAF aeroplanes up until the late 1940's or a similar but darker shade all over for the high speed recon late model Spitfires, early spits had one half of the underside black & the other white for recognition purposes, great paint scheme though 😎 👍
Large scale 3D A-10 of course! I can never get enough of that aircraft!
What a beautiful bird. I've always been a P-51 Mustang guy when it comes to planes, but the spitfire is just a beautiful thing to see.
Avro Lancaster would be great to see...
A P-40 Warhawk, Please and Thank you. For some reason the community has stopped making them. I also have not seen any companies that are in the 3d printing game that have made one either. Sad, because this is my favorite plane.
Watching your guy’s brings me pure happiness and joy and if I had to watch 1 YT channel for a whole year it would be you guys❤️🥲
That means the world to us
@@FliteTest #bestchannelever
Its a Spitfire alright. Tip stalls and that Spitfire bounce if you don't butter the landing.
I think they failed to give it at least 2deg of wash out build in into the files.
I was 14 when I stopped watching your videos and today it suddenly popped a Flite test video and I was already a subscriber it reminded me of the old days and now I am 21 where is Peter he is not in the show anymore?. but I love what you guys are doing and keep doing I am from Pakistan
thancks for making really cool videos
That thing looks sweet. I love their models, they have a free model as well. I'm too scared to 3D print a plane but I feel like if I invested that much time into a build I might be more careful

Do Eclipson’s Carbon Cub, maybe a DHC-2, and some sort of a STOL competition. Thanks for another great video!
RUclips is promoting this video for some reason. But I'm glad it brought me here! Makes me want to fire up my printer and make a warbird!
Fantastic!
Another great video guys, I've bought this plane. I believe that Flite Test does more for our hobby than ANYONE ELSE!!! Thanks for sharing with us!! And I think Eclipson should do the Corsair...
Our pleasure! And A corsair would be AMZING!!!
F117A pleeeeeeaaaaaassssseeeee!!!!! that would be a sick plane to 3d print !! thank you guys again for giving us all something to look forward to :)
Josh & Crew, try a base-coat with Minwax Polycrylic. I just tried it on the 3D labprint Cub and it does WONDERS for stiffness/strength and smooths out the coat for painting/decals!
Put the laser tag systems on all The 3D printed aircraft, and have I giant Dogfight.
SR-71. But with EDFs and retracts.
Good luck!!!
There is one on Cults already...
Awesome little Spitfire! Eclipson should do a B-24 or a B-29!
You should definitely print an f4u Corsair
I’d like to see some of Burt Rutan’s style of planes 3D printed.
I just finished printing the new spitfire using gcodes and the Ender 5s all the prints fit perfectly. I already printed out others eclipson planes and this one it the best one for now
We Would Agree!!! Thanks for building with us!!!
Yahoooooo!!!!
Would love to see you make a P-61 Black Widow.
I need Eclipson to design and release a Cri Cri, it’s tiny, looks amazing and is a twin! What more could you ask for 😊.
What about a mosquito? The "wooden wonder". Fastest and most versatile aircraft of WW2.....
One of my favorite aeroplanes, I'd love to see that 👍
Would love to see you guys build SR71 BLACKBIRD
What a great classic plane. You asked for what other plane we would be interested in seeing. What about a Douglas Skyraider (AKA Vietnam era Sandy) It would be interesting if the plane could be rigged to drop weapons from its wings. That would be so cool! We will have to see what we can do!
Mine’s already printing, about halfway done!
XP-55 Ascender would be cool to see. 😎
Hi Guys, I am Chris in Bulgaria. I have been watching your channel since the days of the star Wars models. I would love to see a Rockwell B1 made. You have a few creeks on the golf course. Have you ever made an amphibious plane that took off and landed from the creeks?
J-Bix is WAY better a pilot than I believe he gives himself credit for. Also, his knowledge of flying and flight characteristics is pretty impressive, too. Keep up the great work and great vids!
Have you tried HIPS filament? It is a lighter plastic which might give better performance.
good job keep making more planes
Nice!
Cool shirt brother! Lovely bird, that blue scheme looks great!
Thank you!!!
The darker blue on their plane is very similar to the shade used on photo reconnaissance versions of the Spitfire.
It should be relatively easy for Eclipson to tweak the Spit files to do almost any of the WW2 single engine fighters. A Hurricane, BF-109, Mustang. Slightly bigger tweak to make an FW-190
Nice, I have to try!
Awesome! i love me some rc plane spitfires
Yes, the new Eclipson plane is the B-17F, please 🙂
Can you make "Monster Series" Spitfire now? Foamboard ofc ;) would be awesome
Westland Lysander could use some love....
HI , can you please make a rc dark star from TOP gun Mav I really like your build and also make it fpv and add light in cockpit as well as on plane . fly it at night time only

They should make a 3d printedconcored

P-38 Lightning is what I want to print;)
you guys should try head tracking fpv
Y'all should make an AT802U Sky Warden.
OV-10 Bronco!!!
Hawker Typhoon car door would be nice.
Always love your eclipson videos, can you do one on the Pantera v2? and how about doing a video on anaother great little plane? it is the Shark Aero, you can actualy find the free, yes free! I would like to see a A-10
Eclipson: please do a B-17 Flying Fortress
Eclipson is more than welcome to make a 3D printed version of my Simitar Psycobipe, or Simitar Colt 45 designs.
@FliteTest maybe you could make an EZ Pack that has 1-2 servos? just a thought
I'd like to see them do a large ugly stick. A hardy, forgiving platform with large control surfaces with potentially large throws.
I Like that. I think a lot of people would like that design
planeprint's Savage bobber... double size🙏🙏🙏 And I want to take part in the process... But I'm in Canada now studying...😩
I'd love to see an eclipson Arado Blitz bomber. Twin 50mm EDF's and a beautiful structure.
I recently sold my old Ender 3 and swore I wasn't going to make any more 3d printed planes. After seeing this spitfire, I've just ordered a new 3d printer
I want to see a Master Class of your 3d printing on the X1 Carbon
I know that eclipson recommends the a1 and bigger 3d printers but do guys think they could make a plane that fits on the a1 mini 180mm cubed build volume?
Great content but Depron is a great construction material that is available in other countries. It would be wonderful if Adam’s could produce a similar product 👌
We need more Soviet Airplanes! Even if they weren't the most impressive of all the fighters, we need to complete the pokedex!
How about a 3D printed JRM-01C70 (70mm EDF jet) with 3 drop Micro Cruisers?
maybe a 3d printed version of the Flerken maybe even with edf and retracts
Eclipsing should make the a37 super tweet
Definitely a Dornier Do 335
:D try to build any or all of the thunderbirds from thunderbirds.
I think I might have to print one of those out, color it all light blue, no guns, then put the american star and bar on it just to confuse people. there were some of those flying during WWII as photos recon planes, some of them for the americans.
Can you guys try and make a flat foamy rc plane with 5mm foam
Just curious, why not use a 3 bladed prop?
CARF size Eurofighter is on my list - provide a drop tank folding prop option
A mosquito could be really nice
How about a Sikorsky S-43 or a Martin 130? 60 -70" wingspan?
they used to sell an inline ammeter to make sure you were not stalling servos (20 years ago lol)
If you guys are serious. I think a b25 or pby 6 (maybe a heinkel 111?) Would make some seriously cool models lol
SR-71 blackbird
I'd like to see an avro Lancaster bomber 😊
YES!!!
@@FliteTest especially a large scale one would look awesome too
I dare you guys to create a Beachcraft 1900C commuter airliner
Have Eclipson build the F-6-F Hellcat
I would love to see a Cessna Citation X.
Have them make a CF-105 Avro Arrow from Canada!
