- Опубликовано: 25 дек 2024
- A selection of sequences from Brian Johnson's first series of A Life On The Road featuring Nick Mason, Robert Plant, Roger Daltrey, Joe Elliott, Lars Ulrich and Sting.
Brian and Robert just being 10-year-old boys in the end is pure gold 😄
And wanting a glass of wine. :)
What's lovely is.....we can all relate to becoming childlike again with an old old friend. It doesn't matter what you do or achieve, or don't do or don't achieve, in life. Rock god or modest peasants alike. We can relate to the same.
Es lo importante de la vida, crecer para aprender, pero nunca olvidarnos de la alegría infantil por más difícil que sea nuestro presente.
And also that bridge is the crossroad where stairway to heaven meets highway to hell 😂🤣
Business Tube is somewhere else.
You go there and stop trying to turn RUclips into Business tube.
I love how Brian Johnson is arguably one of the biggest rock stars of all time, and a giggly music nerd
Exactly, and, the opposite of Nick Mason who seems very stiff.
Arguably.....
@@cardboardmusic haha as a geordie ill just say that nick probably isn't that bad, he's just southern!
i swear Johnson was 20' high and 10 years the junior of everyone he interviewed.
Brian Johnson is an international treasure. What a great, sympathetic guy.
empathetic, but yes- right on!
@@johnjonestheman: Very good John...
He certainly is next up after Ozzy
I can't wrap my head around it. He's such a huge legendary rock star but yet so ordinary.
💩 💩
After watching this, I have gained the upmost respect for Brian. What a great guy who genuinely cares about people.
Hahahhaha upmost! Who are you Nick Miller???? Utmost
Gotta love the chemistry between Brian Johnson and Robert Plant.
Robert Plant is just a presence. Such a gentle soul.
I had the honor literally running into Plant while he was shopping while on tour in Columbus, Ohio in the 90's. The friendliest guy in the business.
Presence
Brilliant mate.
A good name for an album.
Yes,Robert truly is the benevolent Wizard King of the rock world and a truly nice person.
Cheers
I have that album on LP-replica CD and cassette. Yes, it has Candy Store Rock, whose name is where its greatness starts and ends, but it also has Achilles Last Stand ;).
Obviously, I played on words - presence and Presence.
He's like a wise old traveling bard.
He's aged so well.
@@MoonchildMindaugas2 I had to check to see the difference in spelling.too.
Very cool.
When Robert Plant comes in, it's like Gandalf meets Bilbo Baggins all over again!
Indeed, ha!
Hahahaha!!! Yes, indeed! 🥰👍🏽👍🏽☘️❤️
🤣🤣💕
My Is bigger mate
Lmao
This is one of the greatest things I've watched in ages.
I agree
It sure did raise my spirits against the tide of schmutz my algorithm usually serves up.
Now back to the schmutz.
I've just watched it Brilliant ⚔️
by ages you mean centuries like Robert Plant is thinking about centuries past?
@@angelobogota6542 me too 🇷🇺🎸
This is just fantastic. I notice the scene with Robert Plant riding from the Song Remains the Same has the music silenced...come on, RUclips. He's standing right there with Plant...I'm sure it's no big deal playing that 15 seconds of song. Brian, you're a gem!
Probably Jimmy Page.
@@Jlipnickiit’s RUclips. It’s an automated process detected by algorithm something-something that detects the copyrighted music, and from there, the video uploader chooses to appeal, delete, or mute the section that contains the music. This youtube channel chose to mute the audio, therefore resulting in the mute. Jimmy Page had no involvement, just RUclips’s algorithm detection system
It seems appropriate given how wellknown the band is for guarding their intellectual property rights even closer than their stash of dope and underage girls.
Brian Johnson, you could never have a better friend than Brian, he's as genuine as they come.
i agree i loves him
Let's all savor this moment that we still have the beautiful Robert and Brian in this sorrowful world.
They'll stick around. If not in the flesh, for sure in spirit.
this was just.....Specatular! My soul and heart were warmed today!
I had a great experience. All interviews were AWSOME. Good for them to enjoy the Fruits of their Labor . Thank you Brian - It’s been a Journey . 🍺
...thought the same man in their earIy 70's
Yes indeed. There will never be another Brian or Robert for sure
Who the fuck on the planet wouldn't want to hang out and chat with Brian Johnson...this is pure magic! Thank you me son!
😂 Plant's comedic timing is fucking legendary but it takes a genuine jolly soul like Brian for it to work.
This made me happy.
I love how Robert pokes fun at his own "mystical warrior" image. It's good that he doesn't take himself too seriously .
I'm sure his sword has slayed many a lass
Watching Robert Plant with Brian Johnson together talking is surreal!! I’m in my almost mid 50’s and can remember listening to in awe Led Zeppelin and AC/DC as a little kid.. This is historic and unbelievable! No words!
I love Plant's mastery of self-deprecating humor. He never once got distracted by all madness surrounding him and Zeppelin, he just found what was funny about it and ran with it. Brian Johnson is the man for doing all of this.
And shagged every bird
Brian to Roger: Me son!
Brian to Joe: Me son!
Brian to Lars: Me son!
Robert Plant to Brian: Me boy!
I remember when he called Dave Mustaine Davey Boy on That Metal Show with what I thought at the time was the most Irish accent I've ever heard. All these years I thought he was Irish or Scottish. Had no idea he was English
@@jaykapolka6111 Aussie, bro. ;) Cheers! :) ....kind of lol

Dammm, the encounter with Robert Plant is SOOOO moving man These are the TOP singers of our time. SALUTE YOU!!!
To see Robert Plant sitting near the campfire in the company of Brian, to see his gaze and that beach next to the sunset, is to understand how time has passed, and even so with stories and years on top, the song remains the same although our skin already not...nostalgy of about time.
Brian just gets along with everyone. No matter if they’re Rock legends or a just ordinary people on the streets.
He´s like a capybara.. everyone likes him
He is Capybrian
I see your point and I agree with it, but I wouldn’t exactly call Lars Ulrich an “ordinary person on the street”.
He's a legend himself which of course helps.
Gotta wonder if he'd have the same bright happy demeanor towards the regular hard working guy if he was in their shoes though. 😮
That's Australia for you mate,
Brian is such a nice and genuine bloke. I love how he refers to everyone as "my son". His world view is so positive.
I’d love to have a pint with him. I’d giggle like a school girl if he addressed me as “me son”.
The scenes with Robert move me in ways I can not explain.....
What’s so amazing about this series which is different than other interviews is that rather than a watching a fan or journalist interviewing these legends, we’re witnessing old friends getting together and reminisce about their past in a very intimate level. Hats off to Brian! You’re a real star.
Brian has done a special thing. On literally every one he does, for some reason, everyone lets their guard down, and opens the doors to their souls. So many of his "guests", have literally never had such easy going, natural conversations with other interviewers... I mean, have you EVER seen Robert Plant remotely that relaxed and laughing having a good time in a filmed "interview"? Its a special thing
@@ckmoore101 You're absolutely right.
….Great series! This is how we want to see our music idols, being real and down to earth and devoid of all the “star” bullshit.
Let’s also not forget that Brian brings out the humility and modesty in them. Some I could believe are cocky and full of it. But Brian is different. He seems like the most down to earth type of guy that you could easily go to a bar and have a pint with
Absolutely agree
I can't be the only one who loves to see Rock legends being friends with each other. More of this please ❤️
I just love Brian Johnson. The man's got a hell of a personality.
I have tears in my eyes because they are all musicians who have been with me all my childhood until today. If you see people today at that age and nobody knows them, then these people cannot imagine what these musicians have experienced in their lives that have made millions of people happy. You can see the elderly walking on the street but do not know what they have achieved ... that would blow their imagination if you told the ignorant. Thank you for your great music. I bow to you in awe. I love you all. Greetings from Germany - Cologne
Nice meeting you Fan--Thanks for supporting my Dream and Carrier--May God Almighty continue to bless you always. I hope you never stop listening to my music... I would like to have some words with you your heart are so pure email me at brianjohnso30@gmail.com
@@brianjohnson3422 *How Brian Johnson.? Brian Johnson, the AC / DC singer himself. ? Are you kidding me ?* :-)
True. Picture the most vibrant and popular young people, they'll never be old right? That 80 year old walking past could have easily been them. It doesn't take long for time to to shift everything, it becomes more linear as you age as well. People see the elderly like they have always been old, they don't realize they will be this way very soon too, having former "themselves" looking at them the same way they used to.
@@sivispacemparabellum6923 No, sadly not. just some random person who needs his shoulder patted by pretending to be a celebrity
Show....Vc disse tudo!
Probably the greatest idea for a show ever, with the best host I could ask for.
Brian and Robert. How amazing, just seeing them together is so special and beautiful.
You know for a superstar and a seen it all bloke, Brian Johnson is as down to earth as they come, I’m Irish and I have to say there is something about the Geordies, tough as old boots but kind loving people. Love Newcastle.
Irish as well. Thin Lizzy fan
Robert Plant speaks in poetry ... and has a great sense of humor !
This series, and Brian himself, is a pure joy for those of us who worship at the alter of rock n' roll.
Robert plant coming in exactly how you would picture Robert plant living straight Celtic warrior in the forests of the Shire, freaking love it..
Robert Plant's voice is a classic song in itself.
The segment with Plant was heartwarming and a little bit sad at the same time. It seems I'm reaching the age where all my musical heroes are passing away. But the music is still vital and always will be, I think, as long as someone is around to listen.
understand that feeling but at the same time I'm astonished by just how many of them are still alive from that era. easily 80%.. just looking at the We Are The World clip, only three of those artists participating are no longer with us
I feel ya brother !
It’s sad because two true musical heroes have been supplanted by “Daddy Yankee” a few years ago, and now by “bad bunny” ._.
Your comment made me think that Plant had died, and I somehow wasn't aware.
exactly
Oh, what a vision....Robert swathed in miles of fabric, carrying a sword and greeting Brian with those immortal words "my dear boy!" Love this man to bits, have done for the last.....43 years and counting. Made my Saturday!!!
This combination of living legends is seriously BLOWING MY FRICKIN MIND over here. This is RUclips at it's finest!
The Plant segment was one of the most delightful things I've seen in a long time. I see the elder statesman, but I also see the same puckish grin and banter that's been there for decades.
The bromance beetween Brian and Robert is so cute
The fuck bro?
Yup I saw it.
@@chefcheffington4552 Calm down mate. She is not a bro. Bromance exists.
Brian May and Tony Iommi vs Brian Johnson and Robert Plant. Who's the cutest bromance?
Im just tripping out seeing them together. Im a half filipino/half aussie dude born n bred in Aus. As you know the run of ya mill Anglo Ozzie is into the ol Acca Dacca. But my old man was a mad Zep Fan, never ever seen him listen to AC DC. I kinda wondered as of recent what these two bands actually though of each other. So its good to see these two lads together at the age they are, just having an appreciation for each other. Not everything has to be suss...
I teared when Robert looked into the sun set and said “and so ended the saga of noggin the nog” 💔
Love you Robert!!! Thank you for keeping my mind sane with your music! ❤️
Me too!!
Fuckin bonkers!
Did the same, my goodness, where’s all that time gone to? Thanks Robert, for blessing my lifetime with your voice.🇷🇴🇬🇧❤️
The great thing about Brian Johnson is that, while he fronts one of the most popular and best-selling bands on earth, the guy's like an ordinary bloke meeting his heroes. Well done!
At the end with Brian and Robert Plant really got me. Those two are a couple of nuts. I love em. Makes me love Zeppelin and AC/DC even more and I am already a huge fan!🤘🤘🤘😝😝😝
Brian has such a good heart, and he's so down to earth what a great guy.
Planty has to be my favorite and after having met him I can honestly say he is a completely genuine down to earth guy..
I love this. This is what you call growing old gracefully. Oh the memories 💕
The Robert Plant part just makes me so happy

I have never imagined *that* voice, speaking the name of *that* Ferrari. It's almost like Johnson himself can't actually get the words out. 😄
Don’t forget the record number of ads every 2.5mins! RUclips is worse than regular TV now!
This is like the greatest show ever. All my favorite musicians hanging with Brian Johnson, also a favorite.

Loved seeing Nick Mason. Very underrated drummer but impeccable manners.
Oh man, that sunset with Robert Plant ❤️
Touching to see Brian and Robert show so much love for each other.
My God, the two most amazing humans in conversation. Robert Plant and Brian Johnson.
Robert Plant is by far the coolest man that has walked the Earth
you're not wrong
Lol
Agree...along with Lemmy
Totality, by far the best man of this group. I wish he'd interviewed Pete instead of Roger... little roger... smh... what a prickly chap
Brian Johnson is an amazing bloke. Down to earth despite his immense success, friendly, genuine, and affectionate, I love the way he calls people "my son" and "my darling", if you watched these videos without knowing he was the lead singer of AC/DC, you'd be forgiven for thinking he's a new cast member on Top Gear. So charismatic, so funny, so engaged, so energetic. What a guy!
I've seen AC/DC three times in my 33 years, and I'm well blessed to have been in his presence. You could tell he was having the time of his life.
Yes, I thought exactly the same way about Brian after watching this series. Still a genuinely lovely warm fella, who clearly still appreciates how lucky he is to have lived the life he has. Same with Robert Plant as well, who still has a season ticket for Wolverhampton Wanderers, bless him!
You always get the instinct that with these sorts of guys you could bump into them in a pub and if you were just yourself without any overexcited worshiping going on you could have a few pints and a good old chat about anything and everything! ☺️
I find that Brian is that type of person that you could easily go into a local pub and chill with. I would not hesitate to have a pint with him. Lastly, if he addressed me as “me son” I’d probably giggle like a schoolgirl and faint from fan girl overload
He is a Geordie we are very friendly and down to earth😊
The best thing about these rockers they are still down to earth and enjoy entertaining showing respect to their fans.
I’ve been working back stage at a festival where Deff Leppard were playing, and it wasn’t excactly respect to the stagehands from that lot. A bunch of arrogant pricks to be fair. 🤷🏼♂️ We were allowed to unload their trucks and then it was fuck off. Litterally.
Brian seems like one heckuva kind, genuinely good, happy soul. I want to have a beer with him. What a great guy.
I've read this "What a great guy" in Brian's voice 😂
I'm right with you man I love to sit down and conversate with that guy he is one cool dude
Guess it's the Geordie spirit !
Well, if you're Roger daltry, you already have
Can you imagine being on a beach with Robert Plant, Brian Johnson and a good whisky?
Thank you all gentlemen for a wonderful life of music.

This is an awesome series. Brian interviews his colleagues in an incredibly personable, warm, humorous and, above all, appreciative manner.
I love Brian so much now. I had no idea what a great soul he is..!! 🎸💥🎤
Love how they give American R & B the credit for their inspiration.
They saved the best for last.

The Robert plant interview was classic" no need to look down brian, that's enough of that" lol I love those guys
This is Nothing short of Magical, In Brian we trust.
You'd almost have to be one who has lived the life in order to get close to these other gods of rock, what a great idea by Brian Johnson.

The 'dusk' of our rock heroes - how they've aged, some gracefully and some not. I too am not far behind. Ive enjoyed this very much!
It's a short time that we're here. It's only as you grow older that you realize just how short.
This makes me feel really really REALLY old. I didn't even recognize Robert Plant.
I am in my late 40s and at times feel like I am in my 90s
@Brad James Well, yes but those are people who have nothing to do. The secret to life and actually WANTING to live a long one, is having a passion for something and doing what you love. The greatest thing is that it's NEVER too late to just change things for the better. Find your "Bliss". It's the thing that if you could do it, you would never feel as if you're working. Everyone has something, and whether it's a hobby or lifelong obsession, It's the same result. A person can't get into their own head and start thinking wrong thoughts. Keeping busy ALL of the time is the secret. Do what you've always wanted, starting from wherever you have to, and work constantly towards an ultimate goal.
Roger Daltrey has aged incredibly well. Robert Plant looks like Gandalf the White now.
I like Brian Johnson, proper bloke
Love this video, they are all great
Roger Daltrey doesn’t age, so handsome
The end with Robert and Brian, tears from my eyes keep on falling
Robert Plant is a gem, Godspeed
What I love about Brian is he’s unpretentious and so easy-going. I see him as the type of guy that you could sit down in a local pub, have a pint and recite stories. I wish I had his type of personality. If Brian addressed me as “me son”, it would be the most flattering compliment I would ever receive and honour.
It’s called a geordie
Lol quit being pretentious
Us Geordies are friendly.
@@heatherboardman7004a question I pose: Is it a common thing for Geordies to address each other as “me son/darling”? I’ve heard Brian say both to men and women, along with addressing Dolly Parton as “me little angel”
It almost makes me cry to see Plant and Brian talking after many wars of music, concerts, meetings with fans , that's incredible Rock will never die!!!!!

It's taken me over 40 years but I'm now happy to hear Brian sing Bon songs. He's earned it - a terrific guy and we didn't know how lucky we were to have him with us back in the dark days of late 1980 and the early '80s. Total respect...
jus wow ! Brian is pure LOVE
Quite amazing to witness this level of humility from the front man of as iconic a band as AC/DC, keeping in mind that Mr. Johnson didn't just take the stage last week. I was 13 years old when Back in Black slammed into my world. AC/DC had already dug its roots into my psyche when Bon was wailing at the front (Every school book I owned and beyond had AC/DC carved into them). His far too early departure resulted in concern but Angus and Malcom could not have chosen a more fitting, superhero worthy, mind blowing, new front man. That was 41 bloody years ago!! For such a legend to be so modest and such a gentlemen...Such a treat to no have such a fly on the wall peak into his world. Thank you for sharing, kind sir.
Oh man, to be able to sit down and chat with Robert Plant. Oh My lord I could die VERY happy!
For some reason, I mentally read your comment to the vocal melody of Achilles Last Stand haha.
Thank you Brian for sharing your friends, friendships and stories with us. The history of our youth man. Fuckin' legend! I'm so grateful.
Priceless and epic documentaion for centuries!

This is one of the best things I've watched in ages. Brain Johnson is such a lovely genuine guy, he's full of joy and instead of the usual stiff interviews we're used to seeing it's like being a fly on the wall when old pals meet.
Legends!! You don’t see younger bands interact like this, with respect and love. No overly bleached teeth, no fancy clothes, no botox, just being who they are. . I am 61 years old. I grew up with all of them and their music! I am so privileged!!
Except for the guy with the Ferrari worth 40 million, and the pensioners with false teeth 🤣
