I saw the show today and I can answer all three to the best of my ability! Madeline falls down the stairs in slow motion on a harness, making it as hilariously dramatic as possible. Her wig is styled in a way that she can tilt her head down and completely shroud her face, making it look like her body is facing downstage and her head is facing upstage. She crawls behind a couch where Helen and Ernest are sitting, giving the actress time to apply a prosthetic twisted neck. She reappears after trying to snap her neck back in place, not realizing she twisted it 180° around. After Madeline discovers Helen also drank the potion, the two have a chase sequence out the door and offstage, where a screen behind the penthouse window shows Helen going flying after being blasted with a shotgun, giving the actress time to go through a quick-change. When the two reappear, Helen's dress now has a giant black hole in the stomache that emits smoke out both ends.

@@gagekristofer Absolutely! I was laughing my ass off the whole show. Not very kid-friendly if you have them, but I think teens may enjoy it. The practical effects they do are absolutely amazing, and I've been craving that cast album ever since I walked out of the Cadillac Palace.

Was excited for a Death Becomes Her musical, but so far, not loving these costumes 😕
A little bit late reply, but I think they're just normal costumes for this very specific video shoot. They'll have another costume in the show.
Definitely i prefer the original version.
