Fun fact about me and Goldie: I once won a national competition as a teenager playing the piano and I was flown out to DC to play the piano at a benefit honoring Goldie and her work with teens that struggle with their mental health. And I, and the 6 other teens that were picked got to meet her before the show and she was as sweet as you imagined her being. And my performance was right before she accepted her award and she came out crying and was gushing about how much my performance moved her. It was by FAR one of the best vacations I've been on!
Love her. My favorite film of hers has always been "Seems Like Old Times." I saw it when I was little and I just thought it was hilarious and it has always stuck with me!

Why does nobody talk about one of her best movies ever, Deceived? If you want to see Goldie in a completely different, murder mystery type of way. You MUST, MUST, MUST WATCH this movie?!! She was outstanding in it.
She is amazing, I am 62 and have loved her since the Laugh-In days. She is still sooooo beautiful, even though (quite selfishly, I think), I would have loved to see her age a bit more naturally.
There are some actors that you just feel instant joy when they show up on your screen or in the newspaper. When they have a movie or tv-show on you sit down to watch it (if you had nothing planned, but flipped through the channels/streams and saw them and you stayed and enjoyed the project they’re in). You might not actively seek them out anymore because they’re not working as much as they used to (you miss them on the screen because you don’t see them as often as before, but a clip like this or an interview or a mention of them by their colleagues, will make you happy and feel it’s nice to hear they are enjoying the fruit of their labour and they’re enjoying traveling, their home and of course family and friends). If they decide to do a project you make sure to watch it though. To me Goldie Hawn is one of those actors, it’s always very pleasant to see her and listen to her thoughts and views on things. Loved her in Death becomes her with Bruce Willis and Meryl Streep❤
This made me happy to see, I loved your movies. Death Becomes Her. Overboard any my personal favorite First Wives Club, my granny had it on VHS and we'd laugh every single time. It brings an instant smile to my face. You are a wonderful actress and I loved seeing you in this video
I watched Overboard last night for the first time. Not because I'm too young, I'm 42, but because I never saw it (it's a Romantic Comedy and I didn't watch those in the 80s). It's a funny, fun, enjoyable movie. Of course, they'd never make that movie today because something about a Man convincing a Woman whose lost her memory that he is her husband (and they make love too) would be considered Rape and Kidnapping and perpetuating the so-called "Patriarchy". But it's a comedy and it was both funny and heartwarming. I miss these sort of Hollywood movies (ps. No CGI used at all :) ) The movie was so enjoyable that I searched Goldie Hawn on RUclips and posted this comment.
This is such a nice-nasty compliment (passive aggressive even). You could have just stuck with “she looks great”, but instead you had to throw in some ageism there as well as by saying she looks good for “77”. What people like you mean isn’t that someone is fully looking great, this is a way to express that you gatekeep women and their aging + you seem to have this idea that as long as someone isn’t showing their age (grey hair, many wrinkles, and have stayed at a norm weight), then they are qualified to get your “ok” approval. While you are stressing over this taught patriarchal standards for women, you are literally missing out on the true meaning of life. People are valid with or without youth or being youthful looking. I doubt you have ever expressed someone looks great who is close to 70 who might show physical signs of aging and might need assistance while walking (because that is a reality to with aging), and it truly doesn’t take away from the beauty of life. Trina, you’re a woman, so I bet you have been judged multiple times in life by people close and not close to you, please remember how that felt and kindly don’t do the same to other women by acting like a judge of wether they are beautiful looking or not/aging a certain way depending on where you believe they should look like based on their age. As women we don’t need to bow down and run the errands of emotionally immature and insecure men even if they have indoctrinated us to believe we should compare and judge other girls/women. We truly do not need to do that it serves no one❤ / Scandinavian
I've always enjoyed this woman. Her quirky character on Laugh in was the best, and that laugh, oh , that laugh. 😄😄 I like how she speaks so well of others, instead of insinuating things like some others tend to do.
