They would have been just as successful with deuce, if not more successful. Deuce was the far more talented singer, danny really only has one tone, deuce could rap, scream, belt ballads, etc etc. He was so much more talented than people give him credit for.
@BobPlayzGamezYes They absolutely wouldn't have been, do you know why? Because he fucked off and abandoned the band. There are literally concerts in 2009 where Charlie had to cover for Deuce during choruses because dumb fuck couldn't be bothered to show. Ever notice how Hollywood Undead never really spoke much about what happened with him, yet Deuce never shut up? His "vocals" were awful. His "rapping" was awful. I'll give him some credit, sure, but he's nowhere near the vocalist that Danny is. I think he was a great writer at times, but the dude was a child. The only shit he could write about was partying, and what a "badass" he was. Look at 9lives for fuck's sake. Now he's couch-hopping and asking fans for money at random. He's pathetic. He was never a front man, a team player, or a friend. Listen to some of his live vocals, he literally cannot sing, he relied on the band and back tracks for almost every chorus. HU would not have had a successful career with him because he was set to fail every time because of who he is. That's just the truth.

However, its obvious that Danny fits with the band dynamic much better and god knows I love most of the music hes contributed to with them. Hes a really talented singer. I think perhaps peoples preference to Deuce is that he sounds raw and gritty, where Danny sounds very pop and polished. Almost kind of like hes out of place amongst the others. I think the band peaked at Notes From the Underground, Day of the Dead, and American Tragedy. Five wasn’t bad but kinda felt like a renaissance fire that snuffed out really quick. And I have no idea what’s going on with the empire albums
Swan Songs was definitely their best album but come on, it’s even in the name… Swans only sing right before they die. I kept listening to their stuff until Da Kurlzz left or was kicked out still not sure. He was my fav screaming percussionist
HU is super successful, even without shady Jeff, deuce, or da kurlzz. Danny is a good replacement for deuce and has been a large part of the vocals since. Shady Jeff (imo) didnt contribute well to the group. And Da Kurlzz left for his own reasons and they have their own way of adapting to his departure and formed it well. They were never destined to fail and have succeeded since
I don’t think failure is 4.2 million listeners and Spotify is the same thing and saying Danny has no flavor to his voice is incorrect as the group has still went to on be incredibly successful and they are amazing
That’s fair, but I would say that Danny does a better job than Duece who hasn’t had very much of a career after HU, though I do suspect it’s the label not him
disrespecting Danny is crazy he's a much more capable singer than deuce just because he was a founding member doesn't mean you have to glaze him and besides go listen to deuce's solo music and tell me it isn't god awful
I’d move Psalms Empire 1 and 2 to the bottom 1 Swan Songs 2 Notes from the underground 3 American Tragedy 4 Day of the Dead (Very close on the first four) 5 Five 6 Hotel Kalifornia 7 Desperate Measures 8 New Empire 1 and 2,I don’t like either 9 Psalms couldn’t stand this EP except maybe Another Level.

This video is a good reminder that there are indeed Wrong opinions
i personally like HU, but its not for everybody :)
I like bullets by them
Da Kirlz shouldn't have left
HU is super successful, even without shady Jeff, deuce, or da kurlzz. Danny is a good replacement for deuce and has been a large part of the vocals since. Shady Jeff (imo) didnt contribute well to the group. And Da Kurlzz left for his own reasons and they have their own way of adapting to his departure and formed it well. They were never destined to fail and have succeeded since
I don’t think failure is 4.2 million listeners and Spotify is the same thing and saying Danny has no flavor to his voice is incorrect as the group has still went to on be incredibly successful and they are amazing
Swan Songs is so bad, Notes From The Underground easily their best album
You forgot Jeffery Star
Why did you put New Empire so low x-x
They started with 7 tho
That’s fair, but I would say that Danny does a better job than Duece who hasn’t had very much of a career after HU, though I do suspect it’s the label not him
Beach Bunny
GLORY
danny is way better then deuce bro whattt
Danny in my opinion is better then duce i just like his voice better but you can have own opinion but danny is just better love you danny
disrespecting Danny is crazy he's a much more capable singer than deuce just because he was a founding member doesn't mean you have to glaze him and besides go listen to deuce's solo music and tell me it isn't god awful
This is one of those bands that just stopped being fun to listen to once I turned 21. It's just noise to me now.
xd
Imma need you to never listen to Hollywood undead ever again cuz YOU DID NOT JUST SAY DANNY SOUNDS LIKE DUECE
Tom Misch?
I’d move Psalms Empire 1 and 2 to the bottom
1 Swan Songs
2 Notes from the underground
3 American Tragedy
4 Day of the Dead
(Very close on the first four)
5 Five
6 Hotel Kalifornia
7 Desperate Measures
8 New Empire 1 and 2,I don’t like either
9 Psalms couldn’t stand this EP except maybe Another Level.
Band ain't shit no more without Deuce
Deuce is gone and his career too
There wouldn’t be a HU if Deuce was still in the band
Danny > Deuce
This video is a hard fail , great band
Um as a listener of this band who been there since their first album id say his takes are ass also id say start with Hotel Kalifornia and American tradgey
Life long Hollywood Undead fan here. Been there since Swan Songs and its still my favorite album. They have fallen off terribly tho, its sad
Bad opinion
@@damiensucksatskate its true, they havent had any relevancy outside their own fanbase in a long time
Nah they are completely ass now theh are so inconsistent its sad. New empire vol 2 did it for me. They had only 2 good songs on that whole album. They just do whatever . Honestly Charlie scene is the only that holds that group together.
My favorite band of all time
This is the first time I see someone not put V/Five into the top 3 albums. Honestly I don't really like it either and it's so weird that it's almost everyone's favorite.
Kicking deuce out of the group was their biggest mistake he made their songs better
The band wouldve broke up had they kept him in the band.
Deuce may sound great back then, but apparently he's too much of an issue to keep around.
HU still lives on. Deuce... well, let's just say don't DM him unless you're willing to donate money to him. He'll be asking for that constantly.
Once deuce left the band went downhill IMO
He didn't "leave" was was kicked out. Forcibly removed against his will. Nice try this deuce 🐓 rider
@@nickclark18 tf, left meaning out the band rather kicked out or no longer present dumbass bitch
Yeah thats why they have 8 albums now
@@Fr0stbit3_ doesn’t mean they are good or have the same sustainability they once had in the music market. They have there fan base but it’s not once was it was before
@@XxAnimeXDude Their most recent album is literally their best album yet. Cope harder I guess. Or get better music taste
