They would have been just as successful with deuce, if not more successful. Deuce was the far more talented singer, danny really only has one tone, deuce could rap, scream, belt ballads, etc etc. He was so much more talented than people give him credit for.

    • @ARC117Studios

@BobPlayzGamezYes They absolutely wouldn't have been, do you know why? Because he fucked off and abandoned the band. He loves to claim they "kicked him out", yet why is it the dude couldn't even show up to shows? There are literally concerts in 2009 where Charlie had to cover for Deuce during choruses because dumb fuck couldn't be bothered to show. Ever notice how Hollywood Undead never really spoke much about what happened with him, yet Deuce never shut up? His "vocals" were awful. His "rapping" was awful. I'll give him some credit, sure, but he's nowhere near the vocalist that Danny is. I think he was a great writer at times, but the dude was a child. The only shit he could write about was partying, and what a "badass" he was. Look at 9lives for fuck's sake. Dude bitched about HU, stole their tracks, and either sang about partying or his self-obsession. How did that band/career turn out? It didn't. Now he's couch-hopping and asking fans for money at random. He's pathetic. He was never a front man, a team player, or a friend. Listen to some of his live vocals, he literally cannot sing, he relied on the band and back tracks for almost every chorus. HU would not have had a successful career with him because he was set to fail every time because of who he is. That's just the truth.

I really don't understand why everyone acts like Deuce was some crazy godly irreplaceable part of the band. He was there for ONE album. It's not like other bands that had one guy for a decade before losing him.

    • @crxgiles
      @crxgiles 11 месяцев назад +5

Its kind of strange. Deuce's songwriting really kinda sucks because its rare that the things he say make any narrative sense and its usually not very clever, but he just has a *feeling* about him. He sounds very good no matter what he sings on, which he says himself, and theres just something about him that -isnt- replaceable. However, its obvious that Danny fits with the band dynamic much better and god knows I love most of the music hes contributed to with them. Hes a really talented singer. I think perhaps peoples preference to Deuce is that he sounds raw and gritty, where Danny sounds very pop and polished. Almost kind of like hes out of place amongst the others. The vibe I get is that they brought a music graduate into a group of street kids and tried to make him fit in 😂 Thats probably not even the case, Like I say, love Danny's singing and most of their albums are bangers. Just some things ive thought from time to time and putting 2 and 2 together with peoples complaints about the lead singers.

As an avid HU fan I gotta say it wasn't really a detriment for the switch from deuce to Danny, It overall felt more like an evolution and Danny's voice felt more appropriate in the songs that involved more emotion while deuce felt better in the frat boy music area. I love looking at songs like We Are, Nightmare, and New Day as prime examples with the climax of New Day being by far the best example which a lot of people miss out on for being an iTunes exclusive.

I think the band peaked at Notes From the Underground, Day of the Dead, and American Tragedy. Five wasn’t bad but kinda felt like a renaissance fire that snuffed out really quick. And I have no idea what’s going on with the empire albums

HU is super successful, even without shady Jeff, deuce, or da kurlzz. Danny is a good replacement for deuce and has been a large part of the vocals since. Shady Jeff (imo) didnt contribute well to the group. And Da Kurlzz left for his own reasons and they have their own way of adapting to his departure and formed it well. They were never destined to fail and have succeeded since

  • @pickledemon282

I don’t think failure is 4.2 million listeners and Spotify is the same thing and saying Danny has no flavor to his voice is incorrect as the group has still went to on be incredibly successful and they are amazing

    1 Swan Songs
    2 Notes from the underground
    3 American Tragedy
    4 Day of the Dead
(Very close on the first four)
    5 Five
    6 Hotel Kalifornia
    7 Desperate Measures
    8 New Empire 1 and 2,I don’t like either
9 Psalms couldn’t stand this EP except maybe Another Level.
