These Old 2 Door Falcons have been underrated for over 50 years. Great Looking Body Shape, especially once the rear wheel arches are cut out to match the front. It'll look great once it's painted. The wheels suit it as well, and another Manual! The only way to go.
Let this be a lesson to you young men out there. It starts with building hot rods and the next thing you know you're running Coke! Great video. Love the car!
This is one bad ass falcon !!! Years ago a buddy of mine and I took one exactly like this and we stuffed a 389 cid Pontiac and 4 spd with the Pontiac rear end. That bitch was the most damned fun we ever had. I'd give my damned eye teeth to have it back after watching this video. Definitely a car to be very proud of, have fun brother.
Man this Falcon is awesomely done , I am Australian we love falcons here , my girlfriend back in 1999-2002 had a 1966 Falcon Futura two door , it was turquoise blue , had a 302 Cleveland ( yes it was 302 Cleveland as in Australia our 302s are made of the 351 Cleveland destroked block ) and it had B&N shifter and it was immaculate condition. She was blonde and blue eyed and we used to Rock’n’Roll around Sydney in this ride man , seen your Falcon made me miss those times with Erika . Good on ya bro very cool Falcon indeed . Australia 🇦🇺
man that model year Falcon has such great lines and looks, it is simply gorgeous all around, especially that side profile. very nice build so far, I have also admired the one that the gas monkey guys did on their show, that machine was also drop dead gorgeous and just radical and wild in terms of performance, big power, stiff chassis and trick suspension with monster brakes. really made me appreciate the Falcon since they are usually a bit under the radar.
Had these down under in Australia too, '64 XM and '65 XP Tudor Coupes. Many getting around with 289, 302, and 351 V8's. Worth a small fortune if you can find one now.
Nice! Took me back to when I built a 64 falcon futura, put a 260 with 289 heads, a 3sd out of a 66 mustang. My on work on the interior. Great little car, of course this all happened before any of my cars had reached 'classic' status. I bought the futura body for 40$, cannibilized a 66 mustang that cost me less than 200$...some good 'ol days indeed!!!
I'm interested in a 63 falcon the description on CL said 289 w/3spd and rear end from a 66 mustang and 5 lugs all the way around. My question is how's the 3 spd on the freeway will it go pass 80mph?
Great looking ride and video, I keep coming back to watch it...wish I could find more about this build online. Anyone know which front fender wells he used?
Four Speed Films Damn I would love too ! Drive a V8 like it’s nothing special. The only thing I get over here are crappy 4-bangers :D I couldn’t afford a V8 :(
Mate i stumbled upon your vids... startin to watch them all... i dont know how theyre not more popular because they are really well put together!! Im sure they'll blow up soon
That is a very nice car I wonder what engine size and what horsepower does that car produce very nice touch if I think that was a Factory 4 speed transmission very nice car! Oh by the way was that a borg Warner T10 Type transmission? I've got that exact same transmission in my 65 Ranchero with matching numbers 289 A code engine.
Fun to drive I can see that, my 65 mustang is just as much fun for me to drive. The 289 HiPo bord out 40 over with the new mustang 2017 automatic transmission let's me out the gates like a rocket and continues to keep pulling at top end with the 308 gear. Highway driving it's a little monster lol
America: Bumper to Bumper I just picked up a 63 two door four on the floor 144 6 banger falcon cali car,,,,body ad solid as a brick shit house,,interior rotted to nothing,,,that cali sun just ate it up ,,,but she fires right uo and body solid,,,everything else is just randr, ,snsp,,slide screw in place,,,gonna drive the he'll out of this one then drive her back,, gonna be everyday driver,, don't even like ford , but I can't afford a 68 charger or GTX 440 6PACK,,,so I have to putt in the old uncle Henry
Today is the first day that I've seen your channel.. Dude, your videos are sick! Keep up a good work! Beautiful cars & awesome editing! Btw sorry for my english, much love from Croatia!

Love the car. I'm about to get a 63 4 door. What kind of trunk latches are those? The trunk on the one I'm looking at doesn't have a key hole, just a hole. Lol

I would prefer the rear arches to match the front. JMO

In Argentina we loved the American falcon so much we produced it in almost the same way until the 90's
Love the old Falcons. Great to see the next generation appreciating the older cars still.
Me quedé loco con los faros . El mejor falcón que vi

@@jinyamanose2369 El Falcon Sprint, empezando en 1963 venía con V8 289 ci
@@marklion315Sorry, no. All 1963 Falcons were available with a V-8 but it was the 260 cid 2 barrel. You couldn’t get a 289 until 1965.

Love the Falc. I don't know if we had the 2 door XL/XM model as that would have been in Australia.
Love this ride. Old Falcons make nasty street machines!
