I hope you iced that knee after wacking it on the trailer. I've had mine blow up like a basketball. Ouch! A that trailer backing job, wow. I/we would've taken the edge right off the house.
That jumping spider (8 legs) on the lens looks dangerously large when it walked across your back. Sort of like the old B -movie Si-Fi of the late 50s early 60s--Love it!
Woohoo! Loved your sly little inspector. He did a good job inspecting your job, your trailer, your vehicle, even the pallets, even you, Doug. Then Ashley inspected him and whisked him quietly on his way, letting him know his job was done.
That bug ended up being a star of the show. It was perfectly lined up at one point crawling up Doug’s leg. I though boy is the person editing this video going to have a chuckle. Great work Team DIY😃👍🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Doug and Ashley you are Hereby proclaimed "ESSENTIAL RUclips VIDEO CREATORS" Thank You for providing such unique and educational content that helps each and everyone of your subscribers make it through another day of confinement. You Rock!!!!
My favorite channel. You guys rock. Not too much senseless talking. Informative and entertaining. Genuine. Doesn't appear phoney. Mature and the perfect amount of goofiness. Great example of manhood too, to say the least.
What a delight!!!!!! As I watch you two tackle a project it makes me remember the books I’ve read about the early pioneers and how husband and wife along with the children ( I saw sweet Belle) built their dwellings and grew their food and raised their meat. Your channel is so refreshing to watch. Take care 🥰
Doug God has blessed you with a helpmate, those extra hands sure come in handy at times. Great job as always, like how you like to surprise us. Ashley you're a champ backing up.
Great watching you pull the siding and put the new sheeting and wrap, kinda getting a little sad knowing you are almost finished with the remodel, but i know it's going to be awesome to see a full remodeled house tour !
Amazing video 👏 Sidenote, you're doing such a great job adding some fun things to the video's and I absolutely love it. The music is fantastic as well👍 Ashley is crazy good at driving the car, seriously not easy and she nails it. Ohhhhhhh and Thank you Ashley for saving us with the 🕷🕸He had zero respect and was crawling all over us🤭😂
That bug on the lense was incredible Crawling up your house, up your leg you couldn’t have planned it better! It was amazing. Now I know how they did those old fashioned movies with giant bugs and regular sized people.😁😁you’re doing a great job on the house. Keep up the good work.
Yahoo! All that done in 11.43 minutes. What a team effort! Careful Doug you really need to slow down as you do the carnival act from different heights. Nothing Ashley could do to help either. Ouch, I felt the bump on your leg . I've hit the trailer hitch once . Makes me shudder... Looking so beautiful to see your house gift wrapped! Just the eyes to redo on the end. Lol I needed this kick start to begin my outdoor work. This is our May long weekend here in Canada. Celebrating Queen Victoria's birthday it was always the closet weekend including Monday to her actual birthday May 24. Later it was dubbed the 2-4 weekend ((2-4 being a large case of beer) but also time to open your cottage, put your boat in the water , plant your garden. Being I don't drink beer but I do wait until the 24 th to plant my garden. Enjoy your day my friends. Look after your boo boo Doug! See you on the next one. Hugs. Bzzzz
Another great video Doug and Ashley.👏 Enjoyed the bit of singing Doug...pity it was so short!😅. Well done guys...stay safe and God bless you and your beautiful family always👐💐
With the quality of workmanship you've put into this house, it will easukt outlive your children! Your videos are so inspiring that even the little ant wants to get in on it! :)
Loved the bug and Ashley's finishing touch !! Once again you two have impressed me with your skills and determination. When you are finished with the house {I know - still many things to do}, this will be a home your family can enjoy for years to come. I'd never leave the place if it were mine. I can see a nice garden, more animals and two wonderful children running and playing in the acreage. It was meant to be. - Grandma Jeannie
Awesome! They way you guys edit things, you make it look so easy. Like, "I'll just pop outside and fix the entire house real quick." That ant though, lol. It's coming together so nicely. I'm excited to see you finish out the outer walls. I know it's going to be beautiful.
Couldn’t help but notice the bug on the camera when you were putting up the everbilt stuff 😂😂 I laughed when I saw Ashley come out of the corner of the screen to blow it off 😂
unbelievable....the path you have chosen and have stayed on... thru so many renovations...and contributions to others on their homestead journey. Stay strong, and carry on
I agree. I have a 6x10' utility trailer that I hook to my pickup. There's no way I would be able to get that close to a building backing up without hitting the building. LOL
Yay. So glad you've got this part finished, especially after all the inside problems you've had to fight. Ashley, another woman rocking the ability to reverse a trailer. Yes! Stay safe, everyone. x
Can’t believe how much work you’ve put into your home from when you first moved in it’s absolutely amazing to see the before and after really stunning each room has been a labour of love and now you have a beautiful home to be proud of xx
The house is almost finished. I can’t wait to see the cleanup after you rent your dumpster. I love what you guys have done to your new home. It looks so neat and clean and I love the kitchen. Renée
Loved the Superhero music for Doug's stepping across the top of the car, funny, but so deserved. Also had to laugh when the bug had the final goodbye. I knew when you saw him you would treat him gently, and you did. Your family gives me confidence in the future. ☺
O' Lordy that ending could not have been more awesome. A different take on your usual "bye" and yet very much the same in spirit. Hilarious. Thanks for sharing.
Wow that didn't seem to take much to loosen the siding. You guys will make the outside look wonderful. Take care. Your little helper/supervisor is adorable. 😁
Great to see the outside getting the love and attention that it needs to complete the renovation to the high standards for which you have been aiming. I know there are still some steps to come, but living in a place while doing all that you have done speaks volumes for your strong family bonds. So near that you must be able to feel it almost within your grasp. Oh, and well done for spotting the 'monster bug' while the camera was running and asking it to leave the scene of its crime.
Today as I watched you work together on your home I felt a sense of gratitude that you two had found each other. You make such a wonderful team. If it isn't too personal, would you share how you met?
I’m so excited but sort of sad that you are so close to done. I love the process and watching. Good to see you on Green Acre Homestead last night. You both and Sam and Angela are my favorite channels.
Wow! that was fun, and that spider on the lens was funny, and then Ashley blew it off, that made me giggle. Great job guys, and Ashley backed that trailer up like a pro, I would have turned it and jackknifed it right into the house and taken off the light on the trailer, lol. Great to see that old siding off the side of the house, and I'm excited to see the siding you pick. Take care and stay safe, XOXO, bye for now.
Another project done with only minor injury.Doug when you came down and what looked like scraped your shin, I felt your pain. (OUCH ) You guys are just moving alone on this reno and it’s looking FANTASTIC. Love how you two have always worked so good together and it’s for sure Ashley isn’t afraid of hard work and we know Doug definitely isn’t either. The foundation wall in Indiana was if I hadn’t watched you guys do it, I wouldn’t have believed that a husband and wife team could dig out that much dirt and redo a concrete basement wall. King and Queen of home renovations. Take care and be safe. God Bless
Wow! You kids have accomplished so much this past year. Your work ethics are phenomenal! So tireless. Excited to see the outside nearing its finish, as I’m sure you are, too. Above all else, be safe. Hugs to you all!
Doug, I noticed your good singing voice & the little stowaway on your camera. I am glad Ashley blew him back home. Great job, thanks for sharing. Take care and God Bless.
We put steel siding on our mobile and we love it. Looks neat, clean and durable. The color is good for 40 years before even fading. Its affordable. It's light and easy for two people to do. All you need is a level, circular saw with steel cutting blade and drill. We also added double bubble insulation under it between the steel and regular insulation. If it gets damaged in any way it's easy to remove. We done our manufactured home and are now working on siding our barn. Next is our roof...lol. Never ends!
Thanks again for another great video, found myself mesmerized by the spider lol I caught myself following it around for a few lol. Hope you didn't hurt yourself when you slipped. Thanks again for sharing your life be blessed
SO much progress, you guys have done a fantastic job. Love your new family member crawling on the lens, luckily he's small enough and won't eat much - as long as he doesn't invite friends. Have a great day.
It's looking good guys. You both work so well together. If my husband was helping me, I would have to walk away from him. He would do my head in. Keep up the good work. And keep safe, 👍🐺
Good job guys...I hope you didn't hurt your leg too bad. I'm so glad you had a reasonably calm day to put the wrap on. Now to wait patiently, at least I will try, for the siding reveal. Y'all have a Blessed day.
Ashley, you rock at backing up a trailer.
Yeah, with Doug standing on top, at that, and then with Doug and Maverick sitting on the pallets!
I second that!
Ya, I would of crashed!
I hope you iced that knee after wacking it on the trailer. I've had mine blow up like a basketball. Ouch!
A that trailer backing job, wow. I/we would've taken the edge right off the house.
I was thinking the exact thing! She rocked it!!
That jumping spider (8 legs) on the lens looks dangerously large when it walked across your back. Sort of like the old B -movie Si-Fi of the late 50s early 60s--Love it!
lol, i thought the same thing.
Woohoo! Loved your sly little inspector. He did a good job inspecting your job, your trailer, your vehicle, even the pallets, even you, Doug. Then Ashley inspected him and whisked him quietly on his way, letting him know his job was done.
Yes, Ashley you DO rock at backing up that trailer. This had been so interesting watching this renovation.
That bug ended up being a star of the show. It was perfectly lined up at one point crawling up Doug’s leg. I though boy is the person editing this video going to have a chuckle. Great work Team DIY😃👍🏼👏🏼👏🏼
haha, we did. We actually watched it a few times.
Doug and Ashley you are Hereby proclaimed "ESSENTIAL RUclips VIDEO CREATORS" Thank You for providing such unique and educational content that helps each and everyone of your subscribers make it through another day of confinement. You Rock!!!!
Thank you so much
Loved the fade out, and then ! The spider photo bomb that turned into a short film! LOL ! loved it!😄👍💕
My favorite channel. You guys rock. Not too much senseless talking. Informative and entertaining. Genuine. Doesn't appear phoney. Mature and the perfect amount of goofiness. Great example of manhood too, to say the least.
Thanks
Thank you for blowing that bug off, Ashley. It had been driving me nuts since he started out looking like he was on Dougs head, LOL.
😂
I love Ashley's hat she had on in the beginning! Doug, you make everything look so easy! Grammy sends BIG Hugs! XOXO
I was very impressed by your driving skills. Backing up a trailer like that takes skill!
That was the very best ending of all when Ashley said, "Goodbye bug" and blew it off. So happy that you got the last wall done.
Haha love it Ashley blow's the ant off! LoL good job moving forward guys as usual! It sure is getting close now! Thank you for sharing! 👍💞carrie
Loved the critter on the scene...he was stealing the show!🕷
Lol, little spider on the camera. Looks great! Good work you guys! Expert backing up the trailer!
What a delight!!!!!! The sound of the thermo wrap coming off was so satisfying. 😊
I was laughing so much at the bug. Especially crawling up Doug's leg. I'm glad you left it in!!
Love how industrious you two are. Such a good example of husband and wife working together. Such a sweet couple and your home is looking wonderful
The Spider made a debut. Good job getting that House all wrapped up. One more thing off the list.
Wow! Ashley good job backing up the trailer!
Doug God has blessed you with a helpmate, those extra hands sure come in handy at times. Great job as always, like how you like to surprise us. Ashley you're a champ backing up.
Wow Ashley, that reverse parking was brilliant, with trailer!! I'm well jealous. X
Great job! Ashley I could have never backed that car in YOU did great job! As usual great job period!
Great watching you pull the siding and put the new sheeting and wrap, kinda getting a little sad knowing you are almost finished with the remodel, but i know it's going to be awesome to see a full remodeled house tour !
Getting very close to being all new. Amazing what you both have accomplished.
Amazing video 👏 Sidenote, you're doing such a great job adding some fun things to the video's and I absolutely love it. Haha! I looked at my phone for 2 seconds and BOOM!! New video notification 😂😂😂
hehe :D
That satisfying moment when its time to order the dumpster.
Yes! We are so excited we are finally ready to get rid of our mountain of debris :)
Yahoo! All that done in 11.43 minutes. What a team effort! Careful Doug you really need to slow down as you do the carnival act from different heights. Nothing Ashley could do to help either. Ouch, I felt the bump on your leg . I've hit the trailer hitch once . Makes me shudder...

Wow! You are such a great Team! I never saw two people (and a married couple at that) work together so well! It amazes me! Great job!
Oh my goodness Ashley backed that truck up like a pro. If that were me I would have jackknifed right into the house 🥺
Great work. Ashley you did great backing up. Everything is looking good. Stay safe!
You guys work together so well! It's nice to watch you. I bet the previous owners would be amazed by what the house has been transformed into.

It was Ashley driving
The ant helping you guys on the second part of the video was a hoot! House is coming along nicely
The spider was a nice touch. Funny removal at the end. Made a perfect ending. Lol.

Yay! so glad I caught this one early, you two are an inspiration to others, you show how hard work and a budget can pay off. 😊
Really like the wee wildlife running around on your camera lenses. A sign of spring. 😄

Great new video skills. So enjoyable to watch. Bug vs. Ashley. Ashley wins.... Yay!
The music reminds me of “The Neverending Story.”
And no one can back it up like Ashley can back it up!!! Haha
Can’t believe how much work you’ve put into your home from when you first moved in it’s absolutely amazing to see the before and after really stunning each room has been a labour of love and now you have a beautiful home to be proud of xx

Doug love your handy work and you singing😊
