This is a very informative video, and I greatly appreciate this! I’m recording music and to save as much time as possible, I’m going to write the instructions for myself here. For Noise Reduction 1 - highlight a part of the recording with no talking/singing 2 - hover over effects 3 - go down to Noise Reduction 4 - click capture noise print 5 - unhighlight (click off of the audio) 6 - hover over effects 7 - hover over Noise reduction 8 - click Noise Reduction (process) 9 - copy his settings, such as the noise reduction percentage and the dB reduced (I screenshot it) 10 - click done! For Compression 1 - Hover over effects 2 - Hover over Amplitude and Compression 3 - click Dynamics 4 - Check compressor 5 - adjust to 3 for the ratio 6 - look at audio wave for the average volume peak 7 - set the threshold to the average peak For Normalization 1 - Hover over effects 2 - Hover over Amplitude and Compression 3 - follow down to normalize and click it 4 - set the Normalization to -3 dB For EQ 1 - go to Effects 2 - hover over Filter and EQ 3 - click Parametric Equalizer 4 - fine tune (optional)
Since my first video in my channel I used Audition, is the best tool, and pretty simple to use. Also thanks for this video, I always get lost after I end recording! This video explains the facts in a simple way! Nice one.
You spoke on the 4 buttons ( mute, Solo, record, and I) on the channel multi track. But you did not explain the I button. It has a delay set that I can not get rid of or change. Can you help please???
Great video, Been a long time since I used audition. Question, I have about 40 mp3 files (backing tracks) my band uses when playing live. The problem is they are not all the same volume. What would be the best way to normalize all the tracks so they are about the same volume.
If I have a long audio tract that I’m recording and I make a mistake is there a Way for me to put a marker at the area where I made the mistake so I can just keep recording and edit out the mistake ?
no hate to mike russel who dominates this niche but hes much too fast and spreads out tips over too many videos. this type of tutorial is much more helpful, at least for me, and im a regular audition user. you could own the niche if you wanted

Helpful, but seriously slow down. This is for beginners right? Its like you had to do this in 8 minutes. I would rather take a couple of extra minutes and fully understand what and why I'm doing this.
