Thanks for having me on the program, Kaya. You and Ryan are two of the most genuine guys I've met in this business. - James
It's great watching the Kaya/James bro-mance happen in real time. Jaya 2024.

Nobody wants you here Mr Reeves.😂
You're only saying that because you have a crush on him.

Also who screwed up the subtitles around middle of vid. Labeled the wrong pistol 🤣
right on the money brother
I know seriously. What an IIIDIOTTT
My daily carry is an SA Hellcat Pro. I looked at both guns and loved the grip on the Sig better, but I went with the Hellcat due to the price. I am very glad I did. One-hole groups at 7 yards are the norm for me with iron sights. I have yet to mount my red dot on it and might never do so. I did have to Dremel out the area under the rear of the trigger guard in a Glock-esque grip mod to eliminate glock knuckle, but other than that it is a flat out fantastic little gun. Paired with a TLR7 Sub and an Incog AIWB holster it is supreme.
Not knocking on the Hellcat but if you notice... They shot the Sig at a faster rate than the Springfield. They shot at a slower rate with the springfield which equals to getting back on target a lot better. Probably had to do with the heavier trigger.
Thanks, let’s not forget the hellcat had a more sighted in sight, the 365’s sight was off stated by both!
The Hellcat was slower, because they both had a problem focusing with the varying dot brightness.
I shot my hellcat micro recently and if you use the reset just right fires fast but haven't shot sig yet
I would say its due to the slightly longer barrel on the hellcat. Its a 3.7" vs 3.1"
I like the consistent panning down to Kaya's shorts

The you tube Keanu’s meet and made me believe in the Matrix 😂😂😂😂. This was a great pairing let’s keep getting our favorite RUclips Gun bros from all Channels together.
Springfield is in IL by law we call only carry 15 rds. Remember their guns use to have 16 + 1.
I’ve had Sigs before… great guns. Until I started shooting Springfields… must better in my opinion. I have their TRP operator .45, EMP 3”, XD 9mm, and now the Hellcat… great guns.
I have the hellcat and hellcat pro both have been 100% reliable id be curious to shoot the new one side by side with my pro
I went with the hellcat ! I'm not a sigg hater I just don't trust them enough yet !
I just felt like i watched an Oscar winning title 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
If the dot on the hellcat had a better zero then that could cause the group to be slightly better. And y’all did say that the dot on the sig was slightly off so that’s that.
Been waiting for this one 😎
I think comfort played a factor. You shot the Sig faster.
The hellcat had proven to be more accurate than the very very average P365
I shot a 365 and hellcat on the same day. Personally, i did not care for the hellcat. Let's continue watching and see if the procomp ups its game
You boys a couple now?
I have the XMacro and I love it. My girlfriend who has tiny hands loves it too.
Just put an actual ported barrel on the sig and it will be the better gun
7:47 lol
Do y'all still do the giveaways?
Yeah because the Springfield is better period
Didn’t know there was enough hair product on earth for these two to exist in the same dimension?
We ration it like California does with water so as not to disrupt the global supply.

Don't strike a match.
I'm surprised the vapors didn't ignite from the muzzle flash
Cosmoline
14:16 when you're shooting the Xmacro the caption at the top says Hellcat pro comp
Man we love Clint. But big props to Kaya taking the driver seat. You’re great
The Hellcat and Echelon are super accurate pistols. I believe its because of the tight barrel tolerances. The Springfields made in Croatia are built like a tank.
I love both of my springfields! I have a XD40 Service model from back in the day. Think still shoots like great! Now I have a hellcat pro and I've got a swampfox green dot on it and i love it!
It also helped that they just plain shoot slower with the H11. I honestly would love to see them use a timer like the one from SG and publish their split times. At the least, they could set a standard, and then try to meet it under pressure.
Accuracy has never been Springfield’s problem, they make some of the most accurate guns available.
I love these multiverse crossovers in the gun community😂😂

The stock Hellcat Pro trigger is complete a**, I replaced mine with the Apex Trigger and it makes all the difference in the world.
Yeah I’m thinking about doing that
Really hope apex make a trigger for the Echelon soon 🤞
i got the tyrant cnc. still heavy trigger so im just swap out the springs with the mcarbo spring kit
I have the Hellcat Pro that I have fired 1400 rounds from it. For me the gun is perfection. Trigger is fantastic. Hellcat grip is the best grip on any gun I've ever had. T
@@Asidebaragreed, although the trigger could be better. After 1200 rds it smoothed out and it’s pretty solid
"maybe thats why you cant assemble shotguns" best comment
Made me laugh out loud. 😂
Is he turkish or something?
Recent videos are also showing that the Hellcat pro comp velocities are 100ftps faster than the sig, which is important with 9mm hollow point.
Recent videos claim otherwise
Guys, you completely skipped over the biggest advantage the Hellcat Pro has, it's a ported 3.7" barrel compared to the Sig's 3.1" barrel, so you will get better ballistic performance from the Hellcat in the same slide length.
This guy gets it 😎
Don’t think 0.6” will make a huge difference in ballistics…🤔
This is why I swapped the slide and barrel from the XL over to my macro and vice versa. It makes more sense have the shorter comped barrel in the smaller frame. I swap them out on the regular. No FTF or FTE at all.
I agree. The Tacops has the 3.7 barrel with the x macro grip. So they should comp and port that and it would be perfect! @alwaysoptimizing1856
@@alwaysoptimizing1856 3.7” porter sig is coming W/Fuse slide
Super informative video, for sure! A must see for anyone that's trying to decide which pistol to carry.
Also...the sexual tension between them two is through the roof! 🥵
😂😂😂
Sig changed the game for carry guns with the 365 family. Everybody else competing is good for all of us
No kidding. Bought my last 8+1 carry piece like 2 months before the first 365 was released. I'm looking again at upgrading but it's tough to keep track of all the 365 models
Glock
@@ryanranard5187 40 years ago… now everyone makes polymer striker guns. That’s my point
@@kylew7930But Glock is still one of the best platforms available. Period. They don’t need to change or innovate every year. It’s a tool and it works. End of story. There are other good guns, yes.
@@nateb4543Shouodve kept your 8+1 set uo
I'm leaning towards the Sig P365X Macro for its modularity and overall ergonomics.
Honestly, skip the comp version and just get a regular X Macro. Or if you’re intent on spending the extra bit of cash, get the tacops version which has a few nicer features than the base model.
But as someone who’s owned both versions, the comp version is not worth the money or the gimmick of having a built in comp. It doesn’t make the recoil that much less than a non comped version, you’re getting a shorter barrel and a shorter sight radius, it’s just not that impressive for all the extra money you spend. Again, if you’re gunna spend the extra amount of money get the tacops version instead.
Both have features I'm disappointed with. The SIG's grip angle and like Kaya said, the Pro's trigger's heavy. I'd love to see my Taurus Gx4 Carry come ported like the Hellcat Pro.
@@jordancrossgrove8827I’ve fired the comp and regular side by side. I have to say I disagree, it was a noticeable reduction in recoil. I’ll take what I can get on a small gun like that
@@Thomas-yw9eo So now we are complaining about Sig's grip angles, when everyone was complaining about Glock's sharp angle. Don't we have like 8 different companies now making P320/P365 grip modules no of all shapes and sizes and angles ?
@@great_deceptionIt's a personal thing. From 2004 to 2020 I shot almost exclusively Glock pistols so when shooting with more vertical grips,I tend to hit low. That's why I shoot better with my GX4 Carry than with my unported but otherwise dimensionally near-identical Hellcat Pro.
Kaya & Jason Reeves, awesome combination.
Jason is great, that James guy was a bit of a douche.
hahaha I'm going to be Jason Reeves forever now because of that Sig guy
@@TFBTVShowTime @16:28 the earpro do say Jason so I'm thinking you're being a nice guy and let Kaya use your personal earpro.
The Hellcat is technically ported.. Not comped
And now you can use the 'FUSE' mags and have a 21 round capacity in the 365! I have been using the X Macro mag in my WC 365XL Gripped 365 for a couple years. MAILROOM!

I own a sig 365 MacroX Tac Ops, and absolutely love it (comes with 4 magazines)
I think I saw a "bug" flying around when James was flinching/missing! 😂
Thats the exact one im looking at. For some reason the p365 xmacro is the only version that feels good in my hands.
@@jeffmather728same here. I’ve shot the hellcat pro, even the p365x. The macro just fits nicely even with my small manly hands and recoils well
Yes the Tacops was a great deal with 4 mags and when I got mine Sig had a promotion that also gave 3 additional mags for total of 7. A super deal for $699.00.
Wouldn't the trigger on the Hellcat get better after a 1000 rounds being new outta the box? How many rounds did the sig have through it?
Sig had me at the get-go when they came out with the P365. I have migrated up through the P365X, P365 Spectre, and now the P365 AXG Legion. My EDC is one of these guns when I am carrying Lite, other wise it is a Staccato C2 or Wilson SFT-9. I have shot the Hellcat Pro and it is not my cup of tea. As far as comps go, I have compared the Spectre and AXG side by side. The benefit of the comp was not noticeable for me with range ammo, but with HST +P 124 grain loads, the comp definitely reduced muzzle flip. Price point, optic compatibility, modularity, and after market support are all considerations. It is great that there are so many choice in the market today.
I'm 800 rounds deep into a used Hellcat RDP. I have no clue how many rounds were shot through it before I got it.
It's accurate and fun to shoot for a small pistol.
So far, it's been 100% reliable for me.
Still has the Hex Wasp on it, it's a usable optic but not great.
Barrel longer on the Hellcat? Could be why it shot tighter groups.
No, the rifling length is probably about the same as the P365 due to boring out about a half inch on the HC.
I have both and at 21yds of 2 - 5 shot groups. The HC was about an inch less for both groups. IDK if the Sig is capable of 2.5” groups at 25. Maybe with the perfect load, but I know the HC is capable of 2.5” at 25. Honestly I think Springfield might make the most accurate barrels for plastic guns. My 4.5” XDM has shot the best 50yrd groups so far. Better than P320, VP9, Steyr M9, a bunch of Glocks including a G34 with 3 different barrels, Canik, Sar9, M&P 4.25 2.0 performance & probably a couple more that I’ve owned.
Have both Macros. All the Hellcats. I’m finishing last 1000 rounds tomorrow out of 2000 already down range on Hellcat Pro Comp. It wins the prize for carry. No malfunctions. Sig has had a few issues on both models.
Honestly not surprised. The hellcats reliability is insane.
Never had a malfunction with any of my sigs. Can't say the same with the hellcats. I just don't trust them for reliability.
@@xtreme4stringbass You seen the videos? Sigs malfunction all the time , you must be in a different dimension .
@@extraordinarywolf320 not 365s.
@@xtreme4stringbass have you shot the hellcats? nobody has had issues with them. 365s definitely have malfunctions.
My brother-in-law just got the Sig P365 AXG Legion. I have a Springfield Armory Hellcat Pro, but am thinking of getting the Pro Comp. Out of the box, the Sig has a better trigger, but there is more pull through. The Hellcat Pro has a heavier trigger, but it has a more defined wall with less pull through. I put the MCARBO trigger and titanium striker on my Hellcat Pro and the trigger is great now. Trigger pull is around 4 lbs. and is much better than either gun stock. I would say the Sig is more ergonomic but I like my Hellcat.
look into the hogue grips for the hellcat pro. Changed the shooting experience entirely from holding onto a 2x4 to holding a well fitted grip.
@@InfamousTubis the material very grippy? I don’t want anything that will snag on my clothing and cause the gun to print. I had Hogue grips for my Sig P228, but it was definitely grippy. A buddy of mine has the Talon Grips on his Hellcat Pro.
Honestly y’all should have a show together this is great chemistry honestly my favorite video between the both of you
So, I have the HC Pro and have carried for about a year. I personally carry with the flush 15rnd mag and carry a 17rnd spare. Works out much better for me. Looking to switch to the comp.
you got wrong label. on the second round you have hellcat label on a sig 365 wiring
Need more with yous guys.
I do like the Hellcat. However, the recoil is painful, ad it catches the bone at the base of my thumb. It's square instead of rounded. Otherwise, yup I would get one.
Precisely. The hand wraps more naturally around a Sig.
Lol...James face after shooting that group with the Hellcat 😂
It’s as if he unlocked new head game that gives it that Hawk Tuah! 😪
Hellcat has a more comfortable grip. To me anyways.
Hellcat got like a rubbery grip vs sig aggressive grip
@bronzeback29 the hellcat pro only got aggressive to me as I squeezed it but just holding the firearm in my hand it had a rubbery feeling wasnt like my XL
My hellcat pro grip is super aggressive and has never felt rubbery at all.
@@chuckyboo419 ok
@@chuckyboo419 Hellcat Pro has the best grip of any pistol in my opinion. 365 grip is too slick and too thin for me. I put a Wilson Combat grip on my 365 which was a huge improvement.
Or you can do what I did over the years and convert a gen1 P365 to be the ultimate, migrated to a flat faced trigger when it became available and just recently migrated to a replacement compensated slide from Sig and can carry with the original 10round mag, 11 counting the chamber and my spare mags are the 17round mags. LOVE the P365!
By the way not trying to insinuate that I have anywhere near the experience either one of you have.
My favorite part of this video is Kaya's ability to stay focused while sitting right next to James's perfect legs.
P365 X Macro has a 3.1" barrel while the Hellcat Pro Comp has a 3.7" barrel which will inherently give better accuracy
I feel like the hellcat rdp just gets forgotten. You get the same length barrel with comp. And you can adjust how big grip you want from 11 round mags to 13 to 15. All you need to do is get a better red dot and the rdp is a forgotten gem.
It's because it's a Springfield Armory pistol. Many people still don't want or trust Croatian made guns. 🇺🇲🎯💪👍
How long before Kaya joins TFBTV?
I actually compared the original Hellcat to the 365 when looking for a carry sized gun. I didn't like the trigger at all on the original but the 365 was way too small for me. The associate at the range suggested the 365X macro as it had the larger grip and decided to go with it. Has been an awesome gun since I bought it and I do not regret my decision at all. I fitted mine with the Romeo 0 red dot.
I feel James classed up the joint.
I don’t care what gun/rifle accuracy test you do. You have to use the same optic on both to have a true comparison.
THANK YOU.
Love this duo. Let's compare the top 2 shotguns 😉
Give me the XMacro any day all day
Same here.
James in the house !!! Between James and Charles “from grandthumb” I’m not sure who is my favorite but both are equally funny
Charles hands down!
I have 4 5 + ish pistols. Both of the originals for the sig 365 & Hellcat. The 365 even with Talon grips is still on the small size, for me. The Hellcat feels more like a full size with a 15 round mag. The sig feels weird with a 15 round mag. They both are pretty nice pistols. Most of the time I carry a G27 or a G43. I suggest everyone buy as many carry guns as possible and see what they like the best.
I love that this is both a praiseful ad for a Hellcat Pro Comp AND a scathing damnation of the Shield SMSc😂
Why i like the hellcat is the longer barrel lt really matters.
Xmacro with 124g was only hitting 950 fps with that 3 inch barrel
Hellcat is closer to 4 inches and hits 1180 no problem.
Which is probably why people think the hellcat is snappy.
As much as I like Jason and Aaron we really need more reviews with Kaya and James! Nice legs Kaya, hahaha
Hellcat is a better gun, shoots better, more velocity, same capacity, easier carry, better reliability ( I own both ) and it’s about 150-200 bucks cheaper it’s really a simple choice if you guys can’t decide
I own both too lol
Plus the modularity of the hellcat, wait there is none. The smell cat fails.

noticed kaya shot the macro super fast but slowed down for every shot with the hellcat, maybe it was on purpose or maybe that trigger made him slow down his shooting and think about every shot?? idk a little sus
The trigger definitely slows you down, after swapping my springs for apex springs & dropped my trigger pull to 4lbs & no second creep, i can pull shots off way faster now
I love my p365. Had to get a mag extension just to hold the thing, but aside from that, it's a great gun.
Got my pro comp 2 weeks ago. I feel like I’m driving tacks from 10m. Tossed a gas pedal and dpm spring on it and accuracy stayed the same but shooting speed improved. I’ll still carry my pro comp threaded for EDC (threaded has 4.5in length vs 3.7). Just because if I have to use this thing in a melee I’d rather my beard not catch on fire when my head is over the port 🎉😂. That said, I do not regret buying it one bit. And the ported comp is better than the threaded comp sold by Springfield considerably.
Carry gun? Full frame Glock.
The Hellcat has a real compensator, the short barrel and kinda sorta slide compansator of the Sig isn't as effective. Neither does it produce the same bullet velocity nor the same redirection of gasses that the real compensator does, given the same slide length.
Yes and no. The HC definitely gets back on target fast because of the real port. The HC does have more felt recoil because it’s has a lighter guide rod spring. I think it’s a littler under sprung. Thats why I’m getting a dpm for mine. Should be interesting to compare the 2 after that. I definitely trust the HC more in terms of reliability.
@@96stealth yeah, there is an interesting conversation to be head about ports vs comps. Competition open guns with popple holes and compensator brake thingys up front, or the new BUL duty style 2011 that was just announced with both ports and a comp.
But slide comps are just dumb. You cut your barrel short, so rather than 20-40fps loss due to porting or comping you lose an entire inch of barrel and thus a few hundret fps. And you also directly use the energy to slow down the slide, rather than just the mils loss of recoil energy on real ports and comps.
@@texasranger24 So far I’ve seen one test and the Macro lost 120ft/sec compared to the HC. Which is a lot more than I thought. I was thinking it would by like 40-50 less.
I own both the hellcat pro (non comp) and the 365 xmacro. The xmacro is my preferred gun to carry out of all my guns, then comes my g 19.5 then my hellcat pro. I will say though, i can really easily conceal the hellcat, the sig is considerably harder to conceal. With the way the xmacro shoots however, i lean towards carrying it over anything else. I need to get the comped slide and barrel for my hellcat pro and see if i like that bettwr with the upgrades, it just shoots so snappily i dont shoot it as well as the xmacro.
I just shoot the Hellcat Pro alot better. Whatever it is about the p365s grip, when I grip it tightly it twists the gun in my hand. Don't have that issue with the hellcat pro.
To me it looked like less muzzle flipped in the hellcat
But very loud. One must not forget that these are for concealed carry, and likely to be fired at close range. There won’t be any ear protection.
You can’t go wrong with either pistol they are both grade A handguns thanks to you guys for sharing the two
You both shot the xmacro way faster just saying
Still have nightmares about the HellCat. Would never buy another. ( to be fair it was the original HellCat)
James needed to give Kaya the real Louisiana man shorts. 😂
For me the Hellcat Pro shoots good but the handle feels like a 1 x 3 board and it is uncomfortable for me. If Springfield made the grip module more like the Echelon I’d be all over it.
Maybe it's just me...IMHO the original concept of
"concealed carry" has been completely lost.
Just like the p365 XL, the hellcat Pro doesn't make any sense at all. That's why SIg came out with the p365X.
I'd just run the 15 round mag with my standard hellcat.
Y’all put the wrong banner up the second time James shot the SIG. It said Hellcat on the top of the screen fyi.
2nd that comment about HSP and Made in Croatia. When I was looking for my first handgun purchase almost 20 years ago a buddy of mine with a more extensive collection then than I ever mustered (play on words intentional, if you know, you know) let me fire a selection of a few dozen of his - my findings were that I love to shoot K-framed wheel guns but hated to carry them, and that I shot a 9mm Springfield XD much better than anything else regardless of caliber, weight, or barrel length - except for low-powered hand loaded 45 from compensated 5-inch 1911’s. Since I wanted something for home defense and concealed carry the choice was obvious (my budget at the time allowed for ~1 gun purchase every ~2 years, removing the obvious alternative choice). I carried that gun daily for many years, and still find it comfortable (probably because I carried it for so long that my ribs got used to that specifically familiar pinch every time I sit down with my favorite holster.
I've got some reason shot my original hellcat better than all my other handguns. Not sure why
Lol love this duo
Kaya just fyi you are morally obligated to wear short shorts for future videos
Great video. The only thing I would have liked your opinion on was which trigger did you feel was better. Thanks.
Both are excellent guns. I chose the Hellcat simply because it was more comfortable in my hand.
I have two Sig XL's which I like to carry like James.
I have 6 Hellcat Pro's which two are the Comps.
I won't buy a Macro cause it just has slide ports.
Maybe have to checkout the pro comp. Undeniable comp macronis an awesome piece. Even the wife shot 3 inch groups on first mag fresh from box, and she's not a shooter. Tried other hellcats and definitely not for us. Maybe the pro comp will be better.
Now add mcarbo trigger kit and titanium striker to the hellcat pro comp and it's the best gun on the market.
The only person that cares about printing is YOU. I mean, when was the last time you found someone looking at your print, NEVER. I've put a lot of time and money into finding a perfect carry gun (Glock 26) that doesn't print. Now I want a gun that feels good and hold and shoots good, so a longer skinnier grip. F the print, just don't let it bother you.
