My dear Mount has this long bolt through it with a nut on the end there is slack between the bolt and the bracket it's going through like the bolt isn't wide enough . Got the car like this and letting off the gas it clunks pretty bad trying to figure out what bolt or mount that will fix that the mount looks fine but the bolt has slack it can slide left to right but again has bolt that holds in from sliding but so far it's confusing for me
That is an excellent idea actually.. Hopefully I can pickup another set for my new civic and I will Definitely do that. There was absolutely a noticeable vibration but it wasn't unbearable. if you had anything metal in your glove box it would definitely let you know.
I’m just concerned the interior will vibrate constantly. I think the oem feel is much nicer than when using solid mounts but idk it they have options for upgrades mounts that won’t be too stiff
Hello how are you doing am putting a 94 engine gear box Honda Civic in a 91 Honda Civic body. I was wondering which kit I could purchases to get the job done.
Ran into a problem with tranny mount and upper driver side. 2 bolts on tranny don’t screw in tight anymore. They’ll screw in tight then get loose again. Same with one bolt on upper driver side. Any suggestions?
Are these the bolts that thread into the transmission itself or the frame? And on the driver side is it the stud off off front of the engine you're talking about?
@@RaineLutz they’re the bottom 17mm bolts that thread to the frame on the tranny mount. And for drivers side it is the the bolt that threads to driver side upper mount on the frame, I believe it’s 14mm. So far looks like ima have to drill into the frame to get a hold of the nut that’s inside. May have detached itself from what I researched. 😪
@@r0ssisdad unfortunately the only help i can give would be try some longer bolts for the transmission, and as far as the driver side i hope thats not the case cause that could be a bit of work to remedy that.. Let me know what you find and if you get it fixed up, best of luck though!
@@antisocialcarl5443 did you want the steel or aluminum ones. The ones in this video are the steel ones and are cheaper but they serve the same function
Silicone spray/lube! No WD40 it’ll rust later... collect dirt in the mean time. Trust me .

Wish you did a drive with them so we can hear whether it vibrates inside while driven.

My ek has a d-series in it, so that upper driver mount is self explanatory? Just ordered a set from plm.

Did this come with hardware? In case it didn’t, do you know where I could get the hardware for the mounts?
Use the factory ones or buy brandnew factory bolts
Do they raise the engine a little bit ?

How does it drive? Does it give a harsh vibration in the cabin?
Honestly at first it was pretty noticeable especially going from worn out rubber mounts but I don't even notice them anymore!
Are these good with hydraulic trans
Oh yeah I had a hydro Trans as well and they fit perfectly !
