Wow, 7 minutes to say the readable space is smaller than the flat size of the t-shirt. I watched to the end to see if there was a big reveal. But no, just the same thing, over and over and over again.
So i should rerecord this video with your advice and say "The readable space is smaller than the flat size of the t-shirt"??? who does that help? hahahahaa 2 second video saying those exact words would not help anybody. hahahahahaaaaa
@@BigBrandoh So you think they are the only options? You can't imagine a 3 minute video with a bit of preamble and chat rather than 7 minutes of repeating yourself? Or maybe you think your audience needs to be told the same stuff over and over for it to sink in? Boring, very boring.
so make a 3 minute video saying "The readable space is smaller than the flat size of the t-shirt" would help more people out? got it. you should take your own advice and make that video. it would probably help people like yourself out. whats stopping you from making your dream video of saying "The readable space is smaller than the flat size of the t-shirt"???

Great video!!! This is exactly why I purchased a half mannequin. I put the mock up or sample shirt on the mannequin, shoot a pic and send it to the customer. This is a much more realistic representation of what the shirt is going to look like on the customer. Keep it coming!!
Facts! I learned this the hard way too. And yes rarely do the designs go past 12 inches wide. One thing I also learned the hard way was the difference between regular HTV and stretch HTV. I noticed that in the pics customers would tag me in, the print across the chest would appear "bubbled out" as if the viynl was begging to stretch but once I started using stretch viynl I never had those problems again. This business is always teaching us something new. We want to see our work on our customers looking good! That's the most rewarding part.
Thanks for all them gems you always drop I been wanting to get into this for years and after watching a lot of your vids I just bit the bullet and buy a cameo and a heat press and been learning everything I can do from designs and cutting and pressing before I go all in and start selling stay up and keep them vids coming out and crack a haters head with that problem solver haha
I think I may invest in a body form that is adjustable to get a better idea of larger or wider sizes. This was great advice and I appreciate you sharing.
I made some major mistakes when I first started. I remember doing left chest hits for an order and I thought I was killing it. Turned out all the hits were too close to the armpit and looked terrible and they were also 5”x5” which was way too big. From my experience I never go wider than 12 inches. Using tape is such a genius move brother I wish I thought of it back then.

Hi again! So I know you can't talk about products you don't use but can you tell me about your cutter in reference to contour cutting. I recently purchased a GCC expert ii 24 lx and my contour cut around circles or even more complex shapes are always off. It doesn't cut precisely at all. I use the gcc great cut & sure cuts alot 5 software. How is your cutter and what software do you use? I'm thinking about returning mine for another brand...
i use the free software that comes with the cameo. i've cut small detail with it before on htv and decal vinyl. eagle wings, flames, turtle shells, pineapples. no issues. i dont know how small your trying to cut but i've never had any issues with tight detail. hope this helps
i have no idea. probably from a place that makes them for highschools and then go from there. cuz it all depends if you are looking to construct a custom one or buy a shit load of them in a certain color and embroider on it yourself or lookin for a place that sells the jacket and can stitch patches on it for you. my advice would be to start where rhe schools get them done
I have a question? I'm just starting out with my clothing brand. Would it be wise to buy a torso mannequin that way I could see how the shirt would fit on a body and they are not expensive
