    Wow, 7 minutes to say the readable space is smaller than the flat size of the t-shirt. I watched to the end to see if there was a big reveal. But no, just the same thing, over and over and over again.

    • @BigBrandoh
      @BigBrandoh  3 года назад +5

      So i should rerecord this video with your advice and say "The readable space is smaller than the flat size of the t-shirt"??? who does that help? hahahahaa 2 second video saying those exact words would not help anybody. hahahahahaaaaa

    • @Graeme758
      @Graeme758 3 года назад +2

      @@BigBrandoh So you think they are the only options? You can't imagine a 3 minute video with a bit of preamble and chat rather than 7 minutes of repeating yourself? Or maybe you think your audience needs to be told the same stuff over and over for it to sink in?
      Boring, very boring.

    • @BigBrandoh
      @BigBrandoh  3 года назад +2

      so make a 3 minute video saying "The readable space is smaller than the flat size of the t-shirt" would help more people out? got it. you should take your own advice and make that video. it would probably help people like yourself out. whats stopping you from making your dream video of saying "The readable space is smaller than the flat size of the t-shirt"???

      @@Graeme758 The beauty of it is, you're not his boss. He decides what message he wants to say, and how he wants to say it. Most of us watch him because we like how he delivers his message.

    • @Graeme758
      @Graeme758 3 года назад +1

      @@A347baker And I understand that many of his audience need a lot of repetition before information sinks in, that's fine. But a good number of people get it the first time and endless repetition is redundant and boring.
      Would you like me to repeat that?

    Great video!!! This is exactly why I purchased a half mannequin. I put the mock up or sample shirt on the mannequin, shoot a pic and send it to the customer. This is a much more realistic representation of what the shirt is going to look like on the customer. Keep it coming!!

    Facts! I learned this the hard way too. And yes rarely do the designs go past 12 inches wide. One thing I also learned the hard way was the difference between regular HTV and stretch HTV. I noticed that in the pics customers would tag me in, the print across the chest would appear "bubbled out" as if the viynl was begging to stretch but once I started using stretch viynl I never had those problems again. This business is always teaching us something new. We want to see our work on our customers looking good! That's the most rewarding part.

    I made some major mistakes when I first started. I remember doing left chest hits for an order and I thought I was killing it. Turned out all the hits were too close to the armpit and looked terrible and they were also 5”x5” which was way too big.
    From my experience I never go wider than 12 inches. Using tape is such a genius move brother I wish I thought of it back then.

    • @BigBrandoh
      @BigBrandoh  3 года назад +1

      if you plan on doing long designs, get a longer press. like i said in the vid. i never create designs bigger than 15x15. if you plan on designing bigger, get a bigger press. i press 5X shirts on my 15x15 because the design size doesnt change.
