I love how she said her gramma said, "can't be scared to try" that's what you gotta do when you start to do beadwork. I learned by watching 22 years ago to make a pow wow regalia for my oldest daughter. I just did it even tho I was scared.

awesome beadwork. its good to have things passed on from family to family. my great grandma i still have some of her beadwork that im planning on adding onto and passing down one day. my grandpa ofcourse never did beadwork. osage men normally dont.

Thank You for sharing this. I am Not a native American but live in Halstad, MN. very close to You. I am very interested in Your beadwork and Regalia. One thing I have long admired in Native American Quilts with the star pattern. I see them given to family members for funerals I have gone to. Maybe You can consider doing a show on How to do them. I am never sure I could get the points straight. Thanks Again!

I usually do four beads n go bk every two. Is that y it pops up n looks uneven??
