Love this video! You have opened my eyes to what’s around my city. Could you do some more food reviews further north like from strathpine up? North area, Redcliffe etc.
That's brilliant. Brisbane has really been on top of my bucket list because of your videos. And btw your smile makes me crumble! Hope it shines on forever:)
Yesss! Thank you for those, I haven’t eaten at either before. I feel like we’re gonna need a few more of these episodes to make our way through all the top breaky spots ♥️
Hey! I just came across your channel, seems very interesting and exciting so I subscribed :-), I am very excited to land in Brisbane as soon as the borders open. you guys are awesome :-D
Nodo was so great! We went to the one in Southbank. Erin got the Avvo (so very good-already missing the dukka spices!) and I had the Bang Bang Bene. Great flat whites and my favorite was the Jaffa Hot Chocolate. Perfect for the cooler winter mornings. Thank you for sharing!!
Thanks for the video, have been wanting to check out Morning after! Another place we want to check out is Plant Vibes in Bowen hills! We also love Farm house
Loved this one guys! Can’t wait to check some of these out when we come over. I immediately had to look on Miss Jones menu after this, because that hot cake looked unreal! 😍 x
😂🙌🏻 that was my exact reaction when I saw a photo of it on their Instagram page. Their coffee is amazing too!! I wanna go back and try their autumn bowl ☺️♥️ thanks for watching sweetheart. P xx
So many good suggestions! Dandelion and Driftwood & Smoked Paprika are my tops, there's also another warehouse style of café in West End called Plenty, lots of plant based options, not sure if they are still there though. Thank you for showcase our amazing cafes!
My favorite would probably be the second one you showed. Sophia’s Farm looks great and I love the thought of farm food. Very nice that you included how many gluten free options there are. Oh and I loved the hair band 👸! I liked Matt’s dance at West End, I need to learn more about that 😉. That name “morning after” will probably see lots of hangover people 😅. New Farm was one of the nicest most peaceful places in Brisbane where I’ve been. Actually I’ve walked past Miss Jones, it’s seems a great place, but was closed at the time as it was late afternoon. Thanks for sharing and have a great week 🤙
Hey Johl! It was so good to meet you both on the mountain and thanks again for the great tips :) Hope you can check out some of these breaky spots soon!! Phoebe x
Another awesome video. Of course I'd needed to put my 2 cents in Nodo is awesome. Eaten at the Newstead store and their donuts are awesome Morning After is awesome but haven't been in awhile. Hard getting out there though Miss Jones is great.. benefits of working not to far Recommendations for other options: Method to the Madness in Kenmore. Awesome for brekky or lunch. Hunter & Scout in Graceville Goodness Gracious Cafe
Quite a few people have commented about Hunter and Scout!! I've never been there or to the other two spots you mentioned either :) I think we'll need to make a few more of these vids! Always love hearing your 2 cents - have a great week ahead. Phoebe x
Thank you so much for subscribing! It's hot and humid from around November/December through to March... it's lovely and warm with a few cold days in April/May and October but we definitely get a winter so it's cold June, July, August and September for sure! Coming from Singapore, you'll find it pretty cold during winter :) My family and I used to live in Bedok and Changi - moving back to Brisbane we struggled with that first winter until we acclimatised again!
@@travelforphoebe ok thanks for the reply😀 I am planning to go for higher studies there so.......I am that of a person who can't tolerate cold at all ,🤧......is there any places in Australia which has a almost humid /moderate climate? If u know
Some nice suggestions there thanks. We've tried Miss Jones and were also impressed. BUT, the best Brisbane breakfast we have had in a very long time was when I took my wife to Elixir in Stafford. After much research I chose it for her birthday last month. She had the smashed avo with a side of smoked salmon and I went for the Big Boy. Both were so fresh and delicious. But the coffee, and we are coffee snobs, was the best we have had in years. Unfortunately we live on the Sunshine Coast so it's a little far away for us but on our next trip to Brisbane we are definitely going back.
WOW - okay, that review of Elixir has got my attention! I actually think a couple of people have recommended it and now with your glowing review I feel like we absolutely MUST eat here! I just checked out the menu and it looks so good - Thanks for the recommendation :) Phoebe x
ahhaha awww thank you so much - so glad I could pronounce them correctly :) bleaugh, yes, cucumber and dill are the worst! My mum always tries to tell me cucumber doesn't taste like anything but it absolutely does!! P xx
I've eaten at Grown. I had their house made Vegemite on toast. Was delicious. You guys should come down to do some cafe reviews around the Gold Coast. I can give you recommendations about the places I like :)
I was eyeing that one off! I’ve never seen house made Vegemite on a menu before! Yesss there’s sooo much great food on the coast, maybe we need to film one of these for there
[ Like ] Ummm ....for a North American person like me those prices are definitely on the high side. Australia is on my bucket list of places to visit one day so I better save up. :) As for the meals ....I am a breakfast person but not that adventurous as I stick to traditional fare; pancakes, French toast, eggs, hash browns, etc. However, it was good to see and learn about different offerings for the first meal of the day. Cheers!
I hear that!! Australia isn't know for being a budget-friendly spot, that's for sure. But the food sure is tasty :) Hope you're able to visit one day soon!
After all the teasers on Instagram you sure delivered it!! Love breakfast as well!! Thanks guys 😊🇧🇷
Hahahaha you’re most welcome Tess ♥️♥️♥️

Breakfast is the BEST :D
The food looks incredible! Your Italian accent is excellent ( Gnocchi and bruschetta) . Ps. I too hate cucumber and dill 😂
