    8 years ago, and your technique is the same. You are an amazing teacher, so precise, calm, and encouraging. That is why you have so many subscribers, followers, and dedicated members. Your patterns and tutorials are so easy to follow. You make successful crafters out of us. Thank you! Much love to you. Oh my goodness, I keep wanting to single crochet instead of slip stitch. Just may need to adjust the pattern. 😳😉🤣 UPDATE: lol, that made the Suzette stitch! Back to your pattern. 😊

    Hi Crystal 👋 Saw your live yesterday where someone requested a moss stitch beanie tutorial from you. It reminded me how simple yet pretty the stitch is and that my Mum had asked for a new hand towel. Guess what?! BOD have a tutorial and I love these older ones as well. BOD strikes again 😂👌💜🇬🇧

    I haven't seen this video before. Always a joy to watch. Sometimes I play them while I'm crocheting. I learned the moss stitch with an uneven number so that i always start with a half double and end in sc. That way I don't have to keep track of which row I'm on.

    • @sharoningle6346
      @sharoningle6346 Год назад

      Would think that would give it "rows" up and down. I'm sure it looks great, you made a whole new patter . ? No? Maybe ?

  • @Haveabananna

    I must say as a newbie only been crocheting about a week you do this slow enough so I can actually follow! Some videos are for beginners but they crochet so lightening fast that I can’t follow it lol! I’ve even had to slow down the video with others so I could see how they are doing it.

    Hi Crystal. Here is a tip if you want to use. When I seperate my yarn plys I as you start at the top. Twist yarn a little to seperate then use my tapestry needle to seperate. It is a little easier. i also make a cardboard template for how long I want my fringe. I will use a ruler of course and cut it. Making sure it is as wide as the project also. I tape the fringe down with 1 long piece of tape. The across the bottom edge cut off the excess. I hope this helps any who try it. I really like the striped color you used.

    I have a couple of Cotton Cakes that I'd love to make a few dishtowels with to put on my stove door handle to quick dry my hands or just for "show". I'm noticing these cakes are not 100% cotton - I would think it's okay to use for this purpose - opinions anyone?

      I have never used those Cakes, but I think a cotton blend would work just fine for this pattern. I will be using a cotton blend when/if I make this.
