    Miwa, Thanks for sharing this latest cooking tips of preparing fish and veggies in the rice cooker with no rice. You make it look so easy. I'm very excited about your Tableware collection. I love the Sakura bowl and the shape and height of the dinner plates your kids and husband were using in the video.

    I love your videos. And meanwhile I saw this „Package“ you are adding to soups several times.
    What is it? In german cooking routine I fill such packages with herbals by myself. But the one you use seems to be something you can buy?

    I'm going to have to try some of your rice-cooker meals in my Instant Pot, and see what adjustments need to be made/what modes to use. I love the idea of the main part of the meal, especially a fish-based meal, being made in one pot I can walk away from. Sort of like a slow-cooker, but different. 🙂

      @MiwasJapaneseCooking  8 месяцев назад +2

      That would be great! I'm sure Instant pot is more popular than a ricecooke outside of Japan. I wanted to add the version using instant pot , but I don't have one... Let me know if you make one!

      Google how to cook rice in an instant pot by Just One Cookbook. Whenever I make rice in the instant pot, Just One Cookbook is who I go to! Turns out great! She also has great recipes! Her (I believe her name is Nami) and Miwa are my 2 favorites!

      You don’t need any kitchen as most Japanese apartments are tiny. You only need a rice cooker, knife & cutting board to make a great meal.

    Great that you really will have a tablewear collection! It was your dream right?
    I've grown up eating fish as I live near the coast and a fisher's port is nearby, but there isn't much variety in how it's prepared here. It's either battered in small pieces and deep fried (kibbeling it's called) or a whole fish is baked in a pan. And we smoke eel. So for me it's always fun to see how else you can prepare fish. Unfortunately we don't eat it much nowadays as my husband hates fish and refuses to eat it.

    • @MiwasJapaneseCooking
      @MiwasJapaneseCooking  8 месяцев назад +2

      Thank you for sharing another way of cooking fish!🥰smoke eel is kinda like unagi in japan?😊

      @tamara4557 8 месяцев назад +1

      @@MiwasJapaneseCooking the eel here is just smoked, not on a grill or has any sauce on it,so it taste different from uniagi, but I could add unagi sauce and make something similar.
