to squeeze yourself on a callsheet of a big shoot is hard, but when you get the support from the client and they can manage a timeslot for you is great to help you and also them produce the assets needed. good job
Your schedule is crazy And i second a comment here saying that just looking at your schedule can cause anxiety. Salomon, cool brand to work with, but honestly not sure if someone like myself would sacrifice sanity for a gig like this. Kudos to you!
can't thank enough for you to make this kind of video, explaining each task and how you keep being proactive with such a hectic set helps me so much in understanding and preparing myself for this type of job in the future! keep it up GOAT
Wow, that was such a rad peek behind the curtain 👀 It’s absolutely mind blowing to see how efficient you were on set to take stills, motion and make a BTS edit. It’s assuring to know even the biggest sets will leave you with little time to get the job done, I often feel like it’s always a race against the clock and that the BTS and stills get little to no love for sharing the talent. Keep up the amazing work man, it’s truly inspiring.
This is so inspiring. I've been following you for a while now, I found you back from the 3D gif effect video. Keep up the great work man, your headed to great places.
Pretty incredible stuff, Gaku!! I've done the BTS + Videographer role before and it's kind of like being thrown to the wolves. It's VERY difficult to do when you're not the priority shooter. You crushed it, dude.
New video, let's go!!💥 I'm often on sets for national TV commercial shoots, either for stills or BTS video/BTS stills. Usually, I'm accompanying the filming, so the video always takes priority. There's usually only 10-15 minutes between shots for taking stills. Right now, I'm working on a BTS video for a big company, but can't find the right audio hahah. I look forward to every new video from you! It inspires and motivates me. Can't wait for more! If you're ever in Austria, hit me up (:
I need a Long Form on how you use this technique so that beginners like me can start editing with this style . Please sir release it as soon as possible 🙏
Lovely work Gaku! I've worked on similar projects/ in a similar capacity before. question for you.... how was it getting permission to use all this for your youtube? usually, brands and agencies wouldn't let me make a video like this.
super interesting! Sounds like a very intense shoot. Thanks for sharing! After checking the Salomon IG, I am curious is your content used for more then the 6 posts that are up about the project (like ads, maybe print and so on) or is that that and they move on with new things?
Why didn't you rent an A1/A7rIV/A7rV for this and bring a single system rather than carry two versions of 24-70 and two sets of batteries? Did you have a backup R5?
Kind of a dick move from the agency to make you do the stills AND video for social as well as BTS. THAT IS THREE SEPARATE JOBS! Been there, done that, hate that.

Love how you mixed the audio in the BTS videos! Would love to hear your thoughts on that. Maybe also a breakdown
You had the hardest job on set.. but nailed it.

native iso for the fx3 are 12800 and 64800? rock it
640 or 800 low , depending Cine EI (800) or flexible ISO (640) mode , 12,800 high for both modes .
Would you say the quality of work would have been better if you were given the proper time and space to shoot?
Amazing man!
Which 10-18 did you use?

something felt skinwalkery about you describing virtually the same 24-70 lens two different times as if you hadn’t already done it once
Kanye won.
