5:25 the drop in note density, the wall of sound, the pickup notes, in one glance, I knew that was absolutely a Sawano Drop coming in. Did not disappoint whatsoever
God damn that was amazing. Great job with replicating the Sawano style while also putting your own style in there as well. Very happy you're continuing this series, excited for more!
really loving these aralia songs so far, it makes me wanna learn how to do animatics or something just so I can visualize the story that these songs are creating lmao
*YOO THIS IS AWESOME!!!* (This is giving me ideas for my own RPG video game idea, lol.) I’m glad this series is continuing. (For now, at least. I’m not gonna jinx it. 💀) You impress, and inspire as always, Shady!! ^v^ Edit: I love the stars in the background!!! So pretty~ ( / > w
This would also double as an amazing Final Dungeon Track. Do the full loop around from hearing in the beginning hearing again at the end, with all the journey you've gone through.
Ahhhhh Shady!!!! I do love me some nice percussion, and that gosh dang sonar ping kills me everytimeeeeee Ahhhh that keychange! Inspires hope after everything that has happened... Every track I hear for this imaginary game makes me love it all the more.
This sounds so good! It REALLY gives a whole Ethereal and Ominous tone at the beginning, a (journey of a hero through barrier) vibe in the middle, and then at the end, our (hero?) Kneeling on a rock in the hands of a *B e i n g*
It was a magnificent track, and you definitely used your inspiration from Sawano effectively. You got probably one of his most influential and recognizable musical flourishes perfectly; the swell into near-silence before everything comes back in for the climax of the song. Fantastic. I am so glad I have stayed subbed to you for so long, even during your...absences.
This feels like the introduction cutscene where we meet the main protagonist and it shows his or her world and how humanity or whatever species has survived on this harsh and hostile world, perhaps the barrier is the only thing keeping humanity alive but there are millions of people working every day struggling and trying their best to make their world a little bit better allowing for the introduction or sneak peek for the first party member or a few of them even.
The description has most of the info, but for this song specifically, I used East West Symphonic Orchestra for orchestra, Vocalisa: Slavic Women's Choir for vocals, Damage 1 and 2 for percussion (as well as addictive drums), and Omnisphere 2 for synths. Hope that helps (:
I can imagine shady pulling a xenoblade and making this a regular area theme (like a place leading up to big twists or something) And I'd get emotional over it despite just wandering around.
this nonexistant jrpg ost series is already proving itself interesting! I'm so excited to see what comes of this :0 this song is so animatic worthy, emotional is almost an understatement
Your hard work and dedication to composition is definitely paying off. This song really showcases how far your skills have come, and I think you should be really proud. Gave me shivers! Awesome job.
Reminds me of Darksiders 2: Tree of Life theme, not the exact same vibe, but the fact that both themes have such a mystical, mysterious ambience to them, that "a world full of life and previously in peace but now facing a dark despaired era" mood, and I love it
@@Shadycicada Darksiders music has a good amount of music that is just "decent", not mind blowing but definitely appealing to your ears, and a good amount of music that is actually banger after banger, some music that... gosh, I don't know hoe to describe it but some of those themes are some of my favourite ever... Specially both Darksiders 2 and Darksiders Genesis have the best music out of all 4 current Darksiders games, if you want a personnal recommendation 👍❤🔥
I've ALWAYS advocated for the usage of sonar sounds in game soundtracks ever since I heard Troublesome Visitor in Melty Blood. This shit is seriously super underrated
Thank you so much! That means a lot to hear (: I guess I'll have to pull out my hilarious metal pipe attempt (: And to think I was on the verge of banishing it forever
This is so incredibly and I finally found a goid how to Hiroyuki sawano Tutorial even though you impkemented your amazing style in it as well. Fantastic Job. Could you tell me which string liberary you use for this wonderful piece of music, pleas. I need this full and warm sound.
I used to day stuff like this when I started off as well. You absolutely can! It's all about practice (: covering songs also help! It helps you learn what techniques they might have used. Keep it up, and you'll eventually find your style!
@Shadycicada Thank you so much, I'm really looking forward to improving my craft to make music that can get an emotional reaction out of people. Onward and upward
You can always find these songs on my bandcamp page for purchase (just search something like "shady cicada bandcamp" on google)! It's also on other platforms like iTunes, Spotify, etc! I'm glad you enjoyed the tracks!
When shady uploads, You know it's gonna make you cry or have your family cutting off the TV so they can turn down the volume of the house. Shady, I cannot say words that express my thankfulness for your work. You were the reason that I started making music myself, And I thank you for sticking around for this long. I'm not usually the type of person to make these comments, But this felt so close to an idea that I had when I was starting my own journey. I hope you're doing well man, Take care, We'll stick by for as long as you keep creating, (Also the story idea is better than what I thought of when I heard the title theme, You say you aren't a writer? With that it is definitely fooling me, I look forward to seeing what this story unfolds to be.) To Summarize, Thank you Shady.
There is NEVER a wrong time for some Xeno X. And thank you so much, Nana! Always means a lot to hear (: for what it's worth, you art inspires me to write music!
Not gonna lie when you introduced the percussion section I immediately went "wait....that has some serious Xenoblade X vibes?!". Sure enough, one google search later: "composed by Hiroyuki Sawano". I absolutely loved X's soundtrack, so listening to this song almost immediately made it one of my new favorites!
Xenoblade X was actually my first real introduction to Sawano! (Xenoblade is also my favorite series ever, next to Zelda. We need a port of X real bad). Such a beautiful soundtrack! (And thank you so much for the kind words!)
@@Shadycicada Same in regards to Sawano's music! X was also my first Xenoblade game so it holds a special place in my heart (even though I still do really understand a lot of it's mechanics 😅). Gotta revisit it soon, sylvalum had the best music (although uncontrollable is without a doubt the best part of the ost)
Finishing up my own game intro! This is cool, man! Especially that modulation at 5:30 that's how you get the feels going! Your videos have helped me out a lot with getting into composition 🧡🤍
Oh yeah. This brings me back. The nostalgia is STRONK with this one boys: MASSIVE Kingdom Hearts and Chrono Trigger vibes. ❤

Thanks so much, man! It always means a lot to hear some feedback from you, and it makes me happy to know that this little project here was enjoyable!
More for this non existent game! (I wish it existed ;;)
Edit:
AAAAAA THAT WAS SO GOOD JFKDJFKS
Edit 2:
The loreee! It sounds so interesting :0
Aww your feedback really means a lot (: always happy to see a comment from you! Thanks so much for the kind words 😄
One day it may exist if the idea still exists in a few years and if Shady Cicada ever returned our calls.
really loving these aralia songs so far, it makes me wanna learn how to do animatics or something just so I can visualize the story that these songs are creating lmao
Thanks a lot, bud! It makes me happy that people want some visuals so far (I wouldn't mind some down the road as well 😄)
I saw that last note and for some reason I was expecting funny doot but instead I got the chills so kudos and thank you Shady
*YOO THIS IS AWESOME!!!*
(This is giving me ideas for my own RPG video game idea, lol.)
I’m glad this series is continuing. (For now, at least. I’m not gonna jinx it. 💀)

What stars are you talking about? I'm confused-
the stars in the background when the music is playing@@Tr0lliPop
This would also double as an amazing Final Dungeon Track. Do the full loop around from hearing in the beginning hearing again at the end, with all the journey you've gone through.
It plays after the prologue, and before the epilogue
This is so beautiful!! Your composing skills have always been something else but this is just on another level.
The few seconds at the beginning hit already that hard... So good!
At 5:30 we are playing Xenoblade Chronicles X. Love it :)
Ahhhhh Shady!!!! I do love me some nice percussion, and that gosh dang sonar ping kills me everytimeeeeee
Ahhhh that keychange! Inspires hope after everything that has happened...
Every track I hear for this imaginary game makes me love it all the more.
I was thinking this gave off mad Xenoblade X vibes, then you said it was Sawano inspired, and it all made sense.
YEESSS so excited for a new upload
Oh man those drums are MAKIN IT HAPPEN
how can I ungoose my goosebumps?
Love that echoing note at the start and end, really drives it home !
I was going to go to sleep (it is 12 am here) but shady uploaded therefore must watch
I hope you have the GOOD SLEEP afterward!
@@Shadycicada I did, thank you very much!

I could listen to this for hours. I can imagen the feelings it could be used to convay. Another great master work shady!
Shady upload let's go!!
Edit: Sounds pretty good!
Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed (:
More *lore!* Sounds like an interesting premise and it's bound to be even more dope the more lore we get!
this actually sounds more like KOHTA YAMAMOTO, and being maestro hiroyuki's apprentice that aint shabby.
Love u bro. need this to be a real game one day this is so good.
Hell yeah another Shady Cicada vid
Sounds great! Thank you for your hard work and for sharing this with us.
Somebody bring this game into existence already!!
whoa new shady vibe?
Thank you shady for another super cool tune looking forward to the next one

Alright, but remember that you and the others here unleashed this evil into the world. I will prepare to unearth it
@@Shadycicada Let's gooooo

Don't think you can get away with not showing us that metal pipe remix
Aw man. Guess I'll have to show my hilarious attempt sometime soon 👀
1:52 me, a violist, sobbing at being recognized
Its feel like Unicorn gundam ending bgm💛
The lore gives me xenoblade 2 vibes. I haven’t finished that game but I liked it from what I played
we NEED more non existent game content!
Will you ever reveal what samples/VST'S you use? id love that

I legit had to double take, this sounds so much like Chrono trigger, it's so good
I love Mitsuda's work, so this means a lot to hear. Thank you so much!

cant wait for the part at 5:30 to come in at the final boss theme with harmonized guitars
really reel em in with the harmony
I really want that text narrated over the song now, it sounds so good.

As a xenoblade x fan, I can definitely hear the Sawano JRPG elements in this! Really good work!
does shady have an actual tutorial for learning to write music? I could watch these videos for days but I also have no clue what the fuck is goin on.
I can smell the Attack on Titan in this
I definitely heard some kill la kill in there (makes sense) I love
HIROYUKI SAWANO NAMED!!, WTF IS A NORMAL SONG NAME!?!?!? RAAAAA
