I noticed when you measured the 2 10" squares for shrinkage, you measured in one direction only. I wonder if you had measured in the other direction, would there have been possibly more shrinkage, because I always find that when I prewash, there is more shrinkage in the width direction vs the length. 🤔
I noticed the same thing. I don't think this video has the definitive answer to shrinkage. On a video another person did, she said that fabric shrinks most salvage to salvage, which is the opposite of what I thought. So I googled it, and the answers are conflicting on which way shrinks most. I'm more confused than I was before!
I love you!!! Thank you so much for doing this video. I was watching to learn what I could about the products you have. I make silk and organza flowers. The Terial Magic is something I want to try. Thank you.
I need to stiffen a very light knit fabric prior to constructing a garment. Part two is that I need for it to *completely* wash out once the garment is constructed. What do you suggest? (The fabric is washable so that’s not an issue or concern.)

You are correct fabric usually shrinks more between the selvages than the length.

You are so welcome!
Will Aterial Magic fabric adhere to iron on adhesives?
Hi Sylvia, I haven't had any problems using fusible products with fabrics I've treated with Terial Magic. Lisa

All of these products wash out. Simply sew your garment and give it a good wash.
