I’m so glad those days are over. I never took this new pt test. I think it came into affect maybe just a month I left on terminal leave. I only have 61 days left in the U.S. Army IRR on my initial 8 year contract.
definitely not, that sled is fucking heavy and after it that side step is brutal because if you're not used to pulling weight like that then your legs are gonna feel like jello, you're in especially bad luck if you have exercise induced asthma like me source: today at school a couple of seargents came and set up this exact test, which was optional, I'm not athletic and I'm overweight but did it anyway, legs were absolute jelly and my left hand kept slipping on the weight, honestly the sprints were the easiest parts of it, that sled and the weights are WAY heavier than you think, for me it was easy at first but when I was coming back it was miserable
if you are puking, you should stop and/or drink more gatorade as well as do a better job being properly fueled. also if you can pass the acft without feeling sick, that is better than feeling sick
Ifykyk but your legs are jelly after this
After this is a 2 minute (minimum) plank and a 2 mile run that has to be completed in 22:00 minutes
@@nobodyimportant290 1 min 15 seconds. for plank..
@@matthewrezuke8130 leg trucks were a lot easier but people were too weak
Yeah me and my JROTC did this over the summer at JCLC and camp rudder
@@Just_Another_Nobody_18you didn’t actually do it. You tried to do it. Next step is becoming a soldier instead of playing soldier.
He did awesome quick minute 👏

This was def created by the devil himself haha
Would have loved to do this instead of 2 mile run
I guarantee you, you don’t. Especially bc you have to do a 2 mile AFTER this.
Surprise!! Now you do both!

You still have to do the 2 mile run after this 😂 its so brutal.
how much are the kettles?
40 pounds each
@@jeranrivera23 Whoa.
100kg each😂
About 30-50 bucks each 😁
@@defaulta51they should be 40 lbs each
I did a 1:19 but I’m not sure how good this is 😅
Too slow, guy! Do better
That’s awesome. Anything under 1:30 is max I believe
Any heavy dude that's like 20% bodyfat can easily max this
He makes it look so easy 😭
To get 100 points is 1 minute and 29 seconds
He did 1 minute and 30 seconds
Is that still 100 points?😂
Depends on your age
My old unit
If you aren’t puking after, you aren’t trying hard enough as my DS would say. I puked everytime….
if you are puking, you should stop and/or drink more gatorade as well as do a better job being properly fueled.
also if you can pass the acft without feeling sick, that is better than feeling sick
If you put every time you do this there's something wrong with your entire training regime
I did it at school today as an optional test, while nobody puked, for me my lungs felt like they were on fire

I didn't puke, but I sure felt like I might've
