My favorite drying aid and topper is a silica spray called boost from glass parency it swipes off the easiest even in the sun and it's the slickest product I've tried and I've tried alot.
Clutch is good stuff. I’m using it as a quarterly topper for a roof panel coated with Shine Supply Beadlock Pro. I left my last treatment on there 1 hour before wiping off. I maintain with Shine Supply Throttle.
@@orthodox1717 agree on that. Not slick. But as a part of my 5-coatings test, I’m maintaining each section with the products recommended by the coating manufacturer. Gyeon=Cure/Ceramic Detailer DPC=TR8/QD Shine Supply=Clutch/Throttle Nova=Lustre/Jet/Boost I had IGL on the hood that got repainted but coated it with the new Diamond ProTech DB36 - tried their Quick Body today for maintenance but I do not like it AT ALL - leaves smudges & high spots like crazy. I’ll probably maintain that section with Phoenix EOD Titan.
OMG! You are so right. If it's not an Si02 spray it's a new rinseless wash. I had to stop buying them. I finally started to listen to you as you say it with a grin, "Don't hoard these products guys" LOL! Thanks Brian
Some of the compounds are excellent, I've been getting better finish and gloss from their classic polish compound than Menzerna's 3000 finishing compound.. I've been loving their Wise guy for cleaning tyres etc and the best part is you can dilute it 3:1 or 2:1 so it goes along way..
Reminds me of AutoFanatic’s ceramic waterless wash. With the High sio2 content it streaks similar to Clutch. I use a damp towel to remove the streaks . With that said .. its some of the best gloss ive seen on a black hammered jeep.
Great video! I love Clutch it is insanely good. I use it as a topper on application of ceramic coatings and also it works awesome on exterior plastics. Really good stuff.
I’m surprised by how much gloss the old Explorer was showcasing. Clutch is a product I could definitely use and the chemical abuse rivaled seal n shine. So many new products are coming out and they seem to be getting better and better. In a different note it looks like ceramic coatings are evolving too and they keep getting better and better too. Thank you for the video and I always trust your feedback!
Myself i have loved Carpro Elixir and Auto Fanatics 007 Gloss Enhancer, perhaps when i run out will try this. Thanks for this review, that shine is fantastic
I have a lot of trouble with the ceramic detail sprays I have tried. Gyeon ceramic detail spray & Gyeon cure. I thought that I have them wiped off good or used them as I drying aid after washing. I go back over my car with a swirl finder light and it’s smeared really bad. I get so aggravated. I’ll try the wet or damp microfiber towel method you mentioned. I normally go back over it with McKees 914 diluted as recommended for using it as a detail spray. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. My car has been corrected and coated with Gyeon mohs. It’s black and a real pain in the ass to keep looking good. Thanks for all the tips and truly honest reviews that you do.
@@larrydavisj yes sir at the end of the day they are a car detailing supplier. Nothing wrong with that and I fully trust Brian from Apex to give his honest opinion on products.
They are not new. I have been using them for years. They blew up because Car Supplies Warehouse started carrying them and a lot of RUclips detailers shop with CSW.
Hey Brian, thanks a ton for the demo. I’m curious what towels you are using for finishing. I’m looking for a good white towel as I like to use white towels for finishing products and the ones I’m currently using are a little hard to find these days.
The clutch seem to be a great product but for 32 bucks, it better be....I like that you can apply to entire car,, then come back and remove. I'd buy the clutch. As for a detailer,, I'll still stick with my eod titan.. Once I find something I feel is awesome, I stick there.. Thanks Brian.
Hey buddy how’s it going. Could I offer clutch as a 3month polymer sealant for a package ? Would you say stand alone I can get 3 months of protection out of it? With just a wash, decon, and maybe iron removal and then clutch applied.
Brian, somebody, put me out of my misery - I'm sure I just saw you apply Clutch on the bigger taped section (on the right side with the large white tape mark) and the detailer on the smaller section (on the left side with the bashed front edge). So you mislabelled them for the torture test, right? Either I've gone doolally or the detailer just performed like a full-blown coating! 😳
Looks like the adult porn bots have been activated in my comment section.😂😂
Maybe their looking for suckers who are into beed porn 😂😂
😆😆😆😆😆😆
It'd annoying
😂
Shine Supply has really come out as a company to be reckoned with lately with their amazingly good products and great value.
Pretty impressive no doubt. Ur TRUE apex detailing family knows who and what you are. Greatest detailer, mentor and most importantly good friend .
I appreciate that!

Yeah gillions of products out there. Clutch did kinda stand out. I wanna thank you for doing these reviews for us. Pretty valuable.
My pleasure!

I tried Throttle. Didn’t like it. Not slick at all.

Absolutely! If you have something that is already working...stick with it.
I love Shine Supply products in Australia and could never understand why there’s very little mention of them in the US

Price for Clutch is 32.00 for 16oz. A bit pricey considering the multitude of similar products available.

Another awesome video and review Brian hope your having a good weekend.
Thanks 👍
clutch was impressive lasted longer than I thought. Nice demo. I think I will stay with rehydra sheet :)
Great video! I love Clutch it is insanely good. I use it as a topper on application of ceramic coatings and also it works awesome on exterior plastics. Really good stuff.
Clutch is also great on exterior plastic trim
Great point!
Can you apply it on tires & some interior panels?

I have left clutch on for 30 minutes or more it was very easy to wipe off
Glad you tested them, always good info
Great to see the UK are bringing quality products to the market time and time again 😄
Shine supply is an American brand

Hey Brian can you test Koch chemie pre wash foam AF and SF vs carpro lift! Thanks
Your request is now on the list.
Looks good 👍 I'm liking the Looks of that clutch🤓
I am seeing these guys everywhere on RUclips lately, from all my favorite RUclips detailers?? Are they new? Why Did they just blow up?
Car supplies warehouse has been sending packages to certain individuals. Certainly not a new company but a new company CSW now carrys in stock.
Looks like they are being sent out to influencers. That said... they are not all that bad...so far.
@@Andresthebigkat I received an email from CSW 2 days ago. It was just like looking at The DIY products that are being sold at IDS.

Have you tested Chop Top yet ?
I love using Clutch on Method Wheels.
Brian, try spraying Clutch on faded bed liners or trim. Literally makes it look BRAND NEW, Jeremy has a bunch of videos showing it work on there.
Absolutely!👍
Hey how are u next video can u compare shine supply chop or flat to 3d aca and compare them on metal podium

100%. Clutch is a 4-6 months spray if taken care of.
Hey Brian, what electric pressure washer and short gun are you using in this video and how do you like them?
MaxShine Short Gun on a GreenWorks 2000 PSi.....Its just enough for coated or cars with PPF. We drag out rhe gas powered 3500 psi for harsh jobs.

I have Clutch…. Performing well…so far.
I like Clutch myself.
Just won some shine supply stuff from Chelsea’s (attention to detail) giveaway

Anyone have similar products for clutch. It’s a bit pricey.
Look into Xtreme Solutions Poly Seal.
