I tried using Magnolia Butter and baking powder on first try, half of butter, 2 tbs of lard, 1/4 of yeast on second try, and I used 2 cups of margarine no baking powder or yeast on third try still ganun pa rin. Di po ako nag-chill ng dough or gumamit ng cold water kasi wala kaming ref. Ano po kayang dapat i-improve? Sana po masagot, side line ko po kasi magbenta ng empanada while my online class. Hi Erika, natry mo ba na sundin yung exact process na ginawa ko? Yung dough kailangan mo syang i-chill para hindi ka mahirapan magroll, di ko pa din naexperience na lumiit yung dough once na natanggal sa sukatan. Yung butter kailangan chilled sya bago mo ihalo sa flour. I am willing to help you, just message me again :)
When you melt the butter, the outcome will just be a greasy and hard to manage dough. Leaving the butter cold is a technique you can use to have a nice dough consistency.
Can we have the measurements for this recipe? I tried this for the third time now but, I want to try yung may measurements mo please. I know sa Philippines always tantya lang though.!

all purpose flour lang po ang natry kong recipe, baka po pag bread flour may kunat na parang sa pandesal. Hindi po ako familiar sa 3rd class.

Hi, you can try but it will be a lot smaller, I tried it before bake at 350f - for about 15-20mins :)

Yes po yung chilled butter nagawa ko po nilagay ko sa yelo pero yung chilled dough hindi pa po kasi wala kaming ref
