  • One way you can make use of your left over ground meat recipes is by re-using it as a based ingredient for another delicious recipe like this! Far from the popular empanada of the North, here’s a #simpol version you can make at home! Try making it with your kids, surely they will enjoy it!
    INGREDIENTS:
    Set A:
    1 ½ cup all-purpose flour
    2 tablespoons powdered sugar
    1 ½ teaspoons fine salt
    Set B:
    4 tablespoons canola oil
    4 tablespoons unsalted butter
    Set C:
    1 egg, lightly beaten
    1 teaspoon vinegar
    2 tablespoons water

    What a delightful man! I stumbled on this video and was mesmerized by Chef's language pattern. His accent threw me for a couple of minutes. His English accent has a Mexican element to it and I thought I heard some Spanish words in there. Then I realized he is from The Philippines. I love how he gives instructions in two languages with such smooth fluidity. Not sure I would make this with raisins, but the recipe looks delicious and watching Chef was delightful.

    Gusto ko well grind/ground chicken with lots of red pepper, sweet empanadas. I really do not like chicken but I tasted that kind of empanada; and for the first time, I ate the whole empanada without picky throwing chickens. Some videos added sugar and oyster sauce; but, baka lasang siopao?

    I've tried this empanada recipe but no offense po, it was too oily and crumbly for me. But I like the idea of putting a little bit of vinegar sa dough, nakatulong talaga siya.

    we have also our own version of 🥟 Emapanada,, and its famous ..now that im working in a kitchen of Hotel the Chinese cuisine chef ask me to make Empanada.. and they all satisfied 😁..

    I am going to make this. I love Lumpia as well! and want to try this recipes for my empanadas. I have been trying different dough recipes but it’s been difficult but this looks SIMPOL.

    I use the basic dough like yours for my baked hopia. Just inexpensive margarine and cooking oil. The dough is convertible to crunchy or flaky, depending to adjustment. You surprised me with the vinegar tho😮😮.. keep it coming..👍👍

    Any possibility of providing us with a SIMPOL recipe of Aristocrat pork barbecue from the 80’s?
    I continue to crave the pork bbq flavor from the 80’s provided by Aristocrat. Being in the US for the past 35 years, nothing here comes close.

    Although after frying it turned out so crispy! Mine is salty tho. I used salted butter. Should have omitted the salt.
