Just made empanadas de pollo argentinas using this dough recipe. I baked them for 25 minutes in 220 degrees celsius and they came out perfect! I was a bit skeptical while making the dough, it was very hard to mix it and make into a ball, my hands were literally dead by the end but it’s honestly the perfect recipe. I managed to get the dough very thin without ripping it, it wasn’t hard to close the empanadas once I put the filling in. Once it came out of the oven it was perfect as well, the colour was perfect, the dough was thin, soft yet crispy. Truly amazing recipe!
I have read a few comments and it seems that it comes out good. So that means I will try it today it will be my first time. I like it because it doesn’t need a lot of ingredients. Thank you for sharing.

I made some chicken empanadas with this dough recipe. I deep fried them and 1 or two bursted open (maybe because I overfilled them), but in the end the dough, the whole thing, was absolutely delicious! I am definitely using this recipe from now on. Next time, I’ll try baking them. Thank you for such an easy and lovely recipe.

thank you po sa recipe💓 ginawa ko to twice and I came up with some tips: 1. kapag lulutuin nyo sya agad dagdagan nyo ng margarine para mas madali ang pag masa at mas madaling trabahuhin 2.kapag naman ilalagay nyo sa ref bawasan nyo ng konti ang water at margarine para hindi sya gaano mag moist at hindi mag dikit dikit ang hilaw na empanada habang nasa ref 3. kapag ilalagay nyo na sa ref, make sure na maraming harina ang ilalagay bago ipag patong patong ang empanada para hindi mag dikit dikit

Colombians don’t use flour we use a completely different dough, that makes it super crunchy flavorful our dough has a distinct color to them Flour has a pastry taste to it.
Masa harina is actually a Corn Flour so basically what you used in making Empanada is FLOUR 😁😂 I actually did a research about Masa Harina 'cause I was skeptical on what you said that you don't use Flour 'cause here in Philippines Harina means Flour and that's the reason why I was skeptical and turns out I was right 'cause Masa Harina is a Flavourful Flour made from nixtamalized corn.
