You're always such an inspiration to me and you have been for years. When I was applying to college, you were already in. While I was getting through college, you were applying to nursing programs. It's been incredibly inspiring to see someone go through the same emotions, trials, errors, and ultimate successes with your hard work and diligence paying off. I'm currently applying to physical therapy programs, and I can only hope that in another 4 or 5 years, I'll be at my job as the new kid going through the training process. Sending you support and all the best vibes to end out the summer!!!

These videos are always so much fun and as someone who's planning to enter nursing soon but doesn't know any folks in that field irl they've been super helpful! Something I'd love to see more of on this channel is you talking about the job you do as a peds nurse, especially peds onc - what tasks specifically you do, what are the pts like, the vibes and unique traits of that specialty... I think peds is so fascinating and I'd like to better know what it's like :)
I moved to the United States seven years ago to study and work. I received my Health Science degree last summer and did not know what to do next. In Argentina, I studied medicine for 3 years until I moved to the United States (medical school is 6-7 years, and you enter straight from high school). I knew studying medicine here would be impossible due to several factors. In September last year, I discovered your RUclips channel; I have no idea how I found it; I was not even searching. I watched all of your videos during that week. 😂
You made me fall in love with nursing. It is what I was meant to be, not a doctor.
I am starting nursing school by the end of this month 😭😭😭 I am so excited and scared. But enjoying this moment! I want to work in peds .

Your videos of your entire journey from UO through Nursing school helped me immensely each time I felt crushing doubt 💗
I just found your channel and I love it! My husband is a nurse and I am in school to be a hospital social worker (he does ICU and I might do peds or ER, honestly not sure yet), so we are a healthcare worker family. I remember his new grad nursing days and I promise you'll get into a rhythm.

If I had unlimited funds, I would get my hubby all the medical he actually needs for his TBI, and not just settle for our poor healthcare. It wouldn’t make my life easier but would make his quality of life easier for him which in turn would help heal my sons heart!

Love your videos I find myself relating to them more and more and they/you have helped me so much on my education and career journey. I did a diploma in child and youth care, a bachelor in social work, took some time off to work and am now looking into a masters program. Girl, I’ve been obsessed with your channel since I stumbled onto it a few weeks ago. I’m going into my final year of nursing school, ya girl is stressed😅. But you videos allow me to see that it will all be worth it soon. And per the question of the day, I’d take a nice vacation (probably to France bc I’ve always wanted to go) and/or pay off my student loans - not as fancy but it is what it is🤷🏼♀️

If I had unlimited funds, I would either built myself a home gym so even I would have no excuse not to work out when a bit pressed for time, or I would buy one of whose hair laser machines so I wouldn't have to shave every time.

Also, I have a potential request for a video. In your video about how you talked about you graduating from nursing school, at the end you said that you were a nurse but not an RN yet. Did you just go through the RN program and skipped the LPN program? Here in Michigan, we have the option now to skip the LPN program as long as we require the prereqs for it.
Yep! I just did an accelerated RN problem so I was never an LPN or nurse until I actually passed my NCLEX :) one day I could do a video about all the ways to become a nurse!
How many breaks and lunches do you have? I work in a non union state. We are luckily if we get a lunch
We get a 30 min lunch and 3 15 minutes breaks that we can also combine with lunch! I work at a union hospital and I’m definitely really grateful I do for that reason alone

Hi my question is! What made you choose Nursing as your profession?
That’s a big question! Lots of reasons, but the highlights are that it really fits my personality and caters to my love of science and communication, I LOVE the flexibility that nursing provides in terms of scheduling and furthering my career or changing specialties if I want to, I love helping people, nurses get paid well in my state, and I’ve always been drawn to oncology because cancer has affected lots of people close to me!
Definitely a car I really need a car and I’m so sick of not having one. I’ve wanted a Volvo for a really long time and it would be so nice to be able to afford a new on. Also favourite comfort show right now is greys anatomy but it jumps back and forth some others are criminal minds, pretty little liars, doctor who and the office
