It’s truly inspiring to see what you do. Anyone that works in the medical field is a hero. Thank you for sharing your day with us. Hope to see more of you! 🥰
Thank you so much for all that you do, and this video! I just started working in a hospital as a behavioral health technician, and have wanted to go back to school to be a Pediatric Oncologist Nurse since day 2. This video really helped give me perspective and now I want to become an RN even more!
thank you for being so transparent in your day to day life. i’m interested in becoming an oncology nurse like yourself and in the middle of switching majors.
Wow you do a lot! I’m also a nurse and went to chemo sessions with my mother but it was outpatient chemo in the hospital. It looked way more relaxed. Thank you for sharing!
Really enjoyed this video.. I got an offer in several different units (oncology, neuro, renal, post-surgical, and general medical unit) I am trying to see which unit to consider in the residency program. This video was very helpful in making my decision. Thanks for sharing ❤
im applying to the nyu accelerated nursing program and stumbled across this video. Tbh I really want to go to new york to go to school, but the tuition and living expenses is whats scaring me. Im 26 right now. Fuh if i got my grades together and graduated on time like you, I wouldn’t mind taking on the debt but now im at that crossroads age of trying to save for a house by the time im at least 33-34.
I’m an RN in the PCU and it’ll almost b a year for me. Seeing your inpatient vlogs and how you care so much for your patients reminds me of why I chose to be a nurse and not a doctor lol. I’m on nights and will hopefully be on days soon 🤞🏾
Wow Elise! You're back thanks for making this video. I'm a new grad rn from Canada and it's interesting to see how other nurses work. Keep it up girl 😊
Hi Elise, how are you doing these days. Your videos really helped me with my application to MDE, I wish you would post more and I miss your videos. I wanted to ask you about how everything went with your DNP program? I just got into MDE program, and I’m interested to continue with DNP-FNP after completing MDE. I wanted to know if you worked the whole time while in FNP program?
I want to get into nursing, specifically hospice, but I sometimes feel like I’m just wasting my time. I have Multiple Sclerosis and Trigeminal Neuralgia, and I can’t even imagine what life will look like with my issues. I want this, and it sucks having a body that sabotages your dreams. I’m 33, and I decided I wanted to be a nurse At 16. I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis at 19.
Hellooo I want to become a onc nurse one day and I was wondering, is it like you have 3 shifts in a week and then you have free time the rest of the week or how is it? Thank you so much for all the videos!
Hi Elise, I absolutely adore your journey. Is there anyway that I can connect with you I am in the starting process of applying and would love some guidance on the whole applying to the MDE program for fall 2023
would you recommend oncology for a new grad because I feel like dealing with sad emotions is so hard, I find myself not knowing what to say to the patients and family.
Hope you are doing well. Thank you for answering. I worked in oncology social work for 2 years. Loved it. Do you think you will provide an update video about coursework, working in oncology nursing, etc? Either way, wishing you the very best. Keep taking care of yourself.

hey elise do you still have your hesi notes? i emailed you
Are you in ICU?
How do you afford to go to school and work and live in NYC? Does your nursing job cover everything?
In UK, training to be an oncology nurse accompanies a course which is part of the training.
Omg. If I see you in Ny can I take a picture with you? Lol.
Of course!! 🥰
So you have master's degree
Please check your hidden direct message in IG, it’s about the HESI notes
This is sounding like med surg tbh 🥲 I don’t want to work anything close to med surg anymore
