The dinosaur creature in Mazy Maze Cave is in question. I remember playing one time where I had Mario right underneath the mouth while the head was down, and Mario disappeared and died instantly. I figured that the dinosaur does eat you. It may have been a glitch.
Weird thing, as a kid I tried for a long time to get the dino in Hazy Maze Cave to eat Mario but couldn't do it. At the same time I was terrified of the sunglasses wearing fish in Tiny Huge Island which was attempting to do the same thing. Looking back as an adult with more knowledge of certain things thanks to internet subcultures, I'm more disturbed and appalled as I know it wasn't just "morbid curiosity" at play.
I often refer to the warp whistles as "the worst kept secret in video game history" because that movie came out _two full months_ before the game was even released (in America). Not only was the movie a preview/commercial for the game, it "spoiled" where to get one of the warp whistles. Plus, just about every tie-in product (cereals, gummies, fruit rollups) gave out tips on how to get one or both of the ones in World one. It was wild.
The figure in 4-4 actually means something. The number 4 is the only unlucky number in Asia. Nintendo originated in Japan. And Japan is in Asia, so it makes sense to add the figure to level 4-4 in Super Mario 3D Land
There are actually only 3 whistles in Super Mario Bros. 3. You spooked me when you said there were 4. I thought I knew every secret in that entire game. Occasionally, I still find more, so though I thought I had been missing something big. However, after looking it up, there are in fact only 3 warp whistles in SMB3.
I wish Dr. Wily had explained the fourth Warp Whistle for Super Mario Bros. 3. The three I know about aren't really that hard to get, especially when you know how e.g. it's the knowledge of how to do it that you'd probably never stumble upon, but the actual execution isn't challenging. I'd never heard of a fourth one before today, and a quick Google search suggests it is a rare glitch.
How could the pixelated Luigis be considered a myth? They were literally a selling point! Along with the Luigi Bros. remake of the 1983 Famicom port of Mario Bros., all as part of The Year of Luigi celebration. A prominent feature of the game is literally treated on the same level as the most obvious rom hack of all time, where Mario just inexplicably has a laser?
In Super Mario Sunshine if you fly trough the back of the bars at the end of the lily pad ride you can walk under the poison water. Which can be handy to grab any missing red coins if you do a quick ground pound underneath them. Be careful because once u exit the water end enter it again you will die.
I heard that in Mario is missing, if you up 32 times then left, down and right 32 times each, followed by B,A,B,Y, it opened a menu to make the game fun...

Let us go back into the past and which character has similar traits? Dun-dun-dun... TINGLE! In Majora's mask, he appears in Termina but has no counterpart in Hyrule. But if he was part of a secretive group that avoided being seen, it would explain why he wasn't in Ocarina of time, wouldn't it? I used to hear rumors that if you could defeat any of the koopa kids while wearing the frog suit, you would get to keep the king’s wand as a powerup. Naturally I tried it out and after several attempts I did defeat Wendy O koopa, but all it did was change the king’s dialogue.
In Super Mario 3D Land in world 1-3 (I think, but it's that vertical mountain lever in world 1) if you look through the binoculars at the beginning of the level after a while, a UFO will show up and fly across the street. You just have to zoom into it.
In Super Mario Sunshine if you talk to all 3 Pianta's who are floating in the water in Rico Harbor mission 8 Yoshi's Fruit adventure a 1-up will spawn. You have to stand on the ground and wait a long time and the last one can only be spoken too if u stand on the metal ramp on the back of the ship. You can also get a mega mushroom from the toad houses that spawn from beating a level with fireworks going off and with the timer matching all the same number, example: 111, 222, 333 Ect. Ect. In new super mario bros for the ds ofcourse, this mega mushroom will be in your hotbar untill your ready to use it
I have a myth for Mario Kart 8 deluxe if you ever do another Mario kart myth busting video... in scenery of "Ninja hideaway" you will see golden "garlic" shapes and golden zig zags, look closely and you'll see they resemble Wario's nose and mustache. That last one was kinda easy for you, now here's a hard one for you to try, for "New Super Mario Bros. Wii" In the final battle with Bowser when he chases after you whilst sized up by Kamek's magic, is it possible to clear that boss level quicker using a trick that has been possible since the original Super Mario Bros. On the NES in "World 1-2"? In that classic level you can break blocks at the top of the screen and run along them quickly passing by every other enemy and obstacle... every speed-run gamer uses the trick I am talking about so you probably know the one, I wonder if it is possible in the final boss/level of "New Super Mario Bros.
