I was wondering, is it possible to put the thing that holds the pen on the left side of the Wacom? (3:02) Sometimes it's such a struggle being left-handed😅
Could you please make a video on how you streamlined your transition from the ipad to cintiq 22? Im currently a loving user of the ipad pro with procreate but am considering saving up for a cintiq as well
Yes! It’s on my to-do list, absolutely will do! I can likely film it tomorrow. I feel you on that, the iPad is so intuitive and fast but I found ways with creating my own shortcuts to make my cintiq feel as close to it as possible!
Hi! :) Glad you got back into art, that's really great :) Just bought the Amazon Monitor Arm. Thanks for making that video about it, it was really informative :)
I just got mine set up! It's such a good investment...unfortunately, I don't have a fancy studio for it lol But I'm happy you were able to get one!! It's one of the best tablets.
I am also drawing on Ipad, and really feel like if I purchase a drawing table, thinking about the 22inch, I feel like I will be missing out on the freedom I have on the canvas. Any tips?
You definitely do miss out on some things with the switch, but I find with some clever shortcuts it’s not so bad. The iPad is just unbeatable with it’s intuitiveness. I just filmed a video going over my shortcuts with the tablet today that I hope to have up soon!
Hii sorry I’m late but I’m getting this tablet soon so I searched up reviews and found this video so hello! I’m fairly new to drawing digitally, I had a drawing tablet a while back and would do some stuff but it broke so that’s why I’m replacing it. Anyways, thanks for the review !!!! Love your purple hair, bestie ♥️🔥
Thanks for posting videos about your Cintiq, arm setup and all your experiences thus far. I’m considering your same setup and am close to pulling the trigger. Just before I do, did you by chance at any point consider tablets from Huion or another alternative or was Wacom always in your mind the go-to?
I did compare other tablets but Wacom has always been my go-to trusted brand! Comparing still led to a Wacom purchase. Good luck, excited for you to get your new tablet!!
kind of, i've used this method but it doesn't work to take control on the actual pc well - i still don't have all the functionality with photoshop that i need. i've touched on this in other comments but essentially it's just not the same and laggy
Wait did you have to drill in the tablet to use the arm? I look fwd. to seeing the video on the arm, as I am thinking about the 22 :) Just subscribed to your channel! Happy to be here :)
It comes with a folding stand that doesn’t go any direction but up or down and can’t be raised or lowered for standing if you don’t have a sit/stand desk - yes
Also: I didn't really catch the thoughts on the arm, I did you say the Ergotron arm is best, but Amazon Basics one is cheaper? Or which did you recommend?
Yeah I will be making a video on that topic specifically so I didn’t really go into detail on purpose. I have never used the ergotron or Wacom official arms, they are both more expensive and I believe from my research/comparison made with better quality materials. That being said, I don’t feel as if I’m lacking anything with my Amazon basics arm, so I’d feel no need to upgrade unless it broke or something. Hope that helps!
Love your whole vibe and set up! Congratulations on getting your dream tablet! I'm looking into purchasing the Cintiq 22 as well, that's why I stumbled upon your video. How is the experience drawing on it so far? :DD
Ahhh thank you so much!! It’s not as intuitive as the iPad, but I absolutely love it and I definitely recommend the remote if you aren’t already attached to your keyboard when using the tablet, or think it won’t be as ergonomic to use the keyboard. I’m going to make a whole video on that bc I debated when talking to my artist friends who don’t use the remote and just use the keyboard, but to make it as much like the iPad as possible I felt the remote was really helpful with this size tablet, but not necessary if your keyboard is easily accessible! Hope that is helpful at all :)
haha, it's actually because we had 4 people gaming in this room at once before it became my office, and that's a lot of yelling xD sympathies about the neighbors though and I've been there!!
I'm so glad it could help at all! you don't need the 22"! the 16" is just as good/powerful. I just got the 22" bc I'm extra and earned enough for it and wanted it XD hope this helps in your decision!
@@ragechibi already got the 22 lol ... I'm also too extra haha 🤣 been defining into drawing more freehand again, and wanted one for a while. So heck. Seemed a cool idea to buy one haha
Loving the aesthetics 😍 and so glad you were able to finally get it!!!
Thank you friend 🥰💗
Your office is such a vibe Tay
Ahhh thank you I love to hear that my speaking is calming, especially since I’m usually so nervous while filing hahah 🥰 thank you girl

Yes! You can put the pen holder on either side of the tablet, they looked out for you lefties!
@@ragechibi Thanks for clarifying :)

@@ragechibi Yes!!! Excited to see it so I can learn new tricks since the tablet just came in ☺️
i just got that ergotron arm yesterday and had the exact same issue! took me like an hour and google machine to figure it out
At least I’m not the only one 🤣 that makes me feel better
I saved up for one and I can finally afford it! Haven't ordered it yet but I am so excited!
AHHHH I'm so excited for you what a good feeling!! :D
