Cassandra be like: If you’re going to kill someone, kill them! Don’t stand there talking about it!
Nice _Van Helsing_ reference!
“If you have to shoot, shoot. Don’t talk.”
Spoilers from the canpaign:
- Cities will fall: Referring to the Whispered One's plan to destory Vasselheim
- Titans will rise: The undead giant that carries the fortress of the Whispered One once he arrives
that's some neat foreshadowing
"I'm glad you forgave her brother"
What is there to forgive? She said she was gonna do it again! Who do you think you are, Jesus of Nazareth?!
I think Percy just had enough of killing today and Cassandra choose to carry that burden for her brother
@@colecamp2539 but it makes no sense to kill all of these nameless npc henchmen characters, & then get to the BBEG & spare their life to morally grandstand over them
@@justadummy8076 Percy had almost just lost his soul to a *demon* for vengeance. You know, the very eternal essence of his being. I think it's not a shock that he chose in that moment to try to offer Delilah mercy.
@@justadummy8076 Way to miss the ENTIRE point of Percy's story arc.
@@justadummy8076 you know your name fits
The Briarwoods didn't deserve to live. Not after what they did to Percy and Cassandra.
“She got me dead to rights and you know what she starts doing?”
“She starts monologuing.”
“She starts MONOLOGUING!”
“The girl’s got me on a silver platter and she won’t shut up!”
Honestly, Cassandra lived through the Blackwood reign. She’s seen all of their evil.
If she had forgiven Delilah after seeing all that, she would have betrayed the trust of her family’s people and those who died. Also, one actually killed her.
Plus, her soul wasn’t to be sucked by a demon so there’s that.
I am surprised that the Briarwoods kept Cassandra alive all these years. I wonder why though?
@@popstsaka The show gives an explanation why, but it's just a brief mention so it's easy to miss.
The reason the Briarwoods kept Cassandra alive is because they needed a member of the de Rolo family to givean air of legitimacy to their rule.
See, while the Briarwoods had the rest of the empire just accepting them as Whitestone's new rulers, the people of Whitestone themselves would have remained loyal to the de Rolos and fought back against a complete regime change.
Thus one of them needed to be kept alive but captive to at least put on a show that Sylas and Delilah were somehow given control in a proper manner, even if everyone knew the truth deep down.
Percy didn’t forgive Delilah despite what any of the characters may say, he only didn’t do it because he had to save his soul.
One way or the other somebody was gonna off that bitch.
Also, according to the original CR Campaign, Cassandra stuck with the Briarwood couple after developing a sort of Stockholm Syndrome-esque codependency in order to survive, not just because she was under Sylas's vampiric charm.
Ah so the No Mercy gene is a dominant trait in the De Rolo line.
I mean they’re from of noble family… They were probably taught from an early age the idea of you don’t let your enemies/ anyone who crosses you live because then it’ll cause problems for you and your people down the road.
If there's one rule about powerful wizards, it's that if you think you've killed them, you didn't.
If they follow the campaign, Delilah comes back. Don't ask how.
@@davidhfranz Oh I'm well familiar with the campaign, don't worry ;)
@@davidhfranz let me guess clone
@@jacobrivera1721 It's never explained in-game, but the Clone spell would be the obvious and most sensible answer. She is an extremely powerful necromancer with access to a lot of resources and money, so it's only natural that she'd have a couple clones at the ready.
@@13mungoman13 similar to cooler from dbz dbz when he went all cyber when machine body goku and vegeta destroyed he has backup one ready for or ultron when he make more powerful body if old get destroyed
That's a sharp sword Cassandra, careful you could puncture the hall of an empire class Whitestone battleship. Leaving thousands to drown at sea! Because it's so sharp.
That reference works on a couple levels lol
I don't believe Percy forgave Delilah. For all he did was stop the demon Orthax from controlling him. And besides he knew that Delilah can't be allowed to live. Not after what she and Sylas did to Percy and Cassandra.
My first time watching the scene, I actually said "thank you!" That's exactly what I whated to do when she started her monologue
i love how the last two people she sees are the last of the de Rolo family.

Cassandra be like: you talk a lot Delilah, time to shut your trap. For good.
Nah cause Delilah was talking mad shit the second the demon was gone gone
Delilah: “RIVER WILL FLOW WITH THE BLOOD OF ALL-!”
Cassandra: *“Parry this, you fucking casual.”*
Out of Shield range, unfortunately.
Dies to 1d4 of slashing damage + 1d4 of acid damage
If Percy didn't forgive her his pound to his Demon friend would consume him into a blind rage.
She was talking a lot of shit for someone within sneak attack range…😒
Even after going through the whole briarwood saga I still don't get why the couple did everything they did when originally it seemed like delilah wanted just wanted to save her husband.
Cuz she sold her soul and service and that of her husband to Vecna
the whispered one/vecna is evil and most likely the book delilah found was either cursed or something similar to change the personality of the user. One example would be the book of vile darkness which was written by him.
@@markuskeler758they needed access to the old god communication thing under Whitestone, and also the residuum to bring vecna back to life.
Warlocks don’t die that easily. Just saying. Hint hint
Delilah may have loved his Sylas and would’ve done anything to save him. But that doesn’t make her a good person. She was cruel to other people and destroyed several other families slaughtering them and forcing them to become slaves in their kingdom. She would execute children just to make an example out of them. She’s kinda like Kingpin from Into the Spider-Verse, we sympathize with her, but it doesn’t justify her actions and we sympathize much more with her victims. At the end of the day she is irredeemable for what she did.
This is why you don't get caught monologuing
That blood splatter was very kill bill-esque
When the villain just keeps boasting about their soon to be evil plan. And won’t shut up.
How do the voice actors do those gurgling throat stabbed noises?
Smart that Cassandra destroyed the body, whoever did they destroy the soul? How do we know the eco l they serve won’t use the briarwoods as pawns in their evil plan?
I'm terribly sorry, dear, but I couldn't quite hear you. Could you say that again?
awesome!
Cassandra thrusted her sword 🗡 like that on Purpose, she wanted to make Delilah suffer.
Well can you blame her? She was literally manipulated by Delilah and her husband
Thank you Cassandra
Love this video ❤️😂
Kinda funny how she stopped Percy from killing Anna just for her to go on to be an even bigger problem
Part of what makes me kinda dislike this scene in both the show and the tabletop, is that they don't even die. Dalilah just comes back in a later campaign as an even stronger warlock patron, so wtf was even the point of this if we just bring her back, make her stronger and borderline worship her? xD
She's not even a sympathetic or understandable villain either, she's just an evil jerk, lol. Why would you ever forgive her in the first place? She's a monster who did all this for selfish reasons and would do it again, but worse. I feel like I'm missing something here.
Fucking finally
Ehh, the cartoon doesn't have a thing on the tabletop.
Passionate acting means so much more.
Cassandra still doesn't get a pass from me.
Any reason why?
They should give Percy rip her skinn off
Good to see the old double tap
