My dad's ashes are on a shelf in my livingroom. along with some trinckets. My cat likes to jump up there and specifically knocks my dad off the shelf. Nothing else, just my dad.
@@dutchieplays I have uploaded nothing because nobody would believe I could be 20 years in to the sims and suck this badly. Maybe there’s a market for that tho? It’ll help everyone else feel much better about their skills
I’ve been playing since the day Sims 2 came out, and I routinely forget to put in a mailbox, causing it to spawn in lovely locations like the middle of the living room. And I still somehow build stairs that don’t work and have to be re-made for unknown reasons. Or only pets and toddlers can use them, even where there should be nothing blocking them and move objects is turned off 😅 And turning shells in to shanty towns sounds pretty cool, imo.
Keep trying! It's about having fun! I feel like I suck at building too. Genuinely, I prefer doing shell challenges or getting shells off the gallery, because honestly I cannot for the life of me come up with my own shell and make it look decent.
@@princesslaisha2615I’m not an expert but if I remember correctly it’s because it makes them swim in circles which creates an artificial fight or flight response I believe, and creates a lot of stress for the fish because they only swim like that if predators are around
@@princesslaisha2615 They’re too small and cause stress as already mentioned. Goldfishes are the “standard” fish people shove into bowls alongside bettas, thinking they’re supposed to remain small due to misconceptions, but in reality, goldfishes are supposed to grow to around 6 inches in length. In small tanks, they’re forced to stay small which has a lot of adverse effects on their bodies and health. Most if not all fish species also need certain water parameters and temperature ranges that are only achievable with filtration and a water heater, as to reproduce their natural living conditions. Without those, your fishes are likely to suffer due to their body not being able to handle the environment, they might get diseases and/or infections due to unsanitary water, and die prematurely. People think betta fishes only live for a couple of months because of that, while they actually can live for 2-5 years. That’s without mentioning the need for real plants, which also require good water temperature and sanitation, as fake plants won’t help forming a water “cycle”, a term to describe the creation of a bacterial ecosystem in your tank that will naturally take care of the ammonia buildup from fish waste and whatnot (otherwise, as stated above, your fish will simply die from ammonia intoxication). Fake plants can also, due to their sharp plastic edges, damage fishes’ scales and fins. There is a lot more to it but those are the main reasons why. Fish keeping is actually a lot of hard work (and money), just like owning any sort of pets.
It's fun hearing about the "chaos cats." I've had chaos cats over the years. I had one cat who loved to get into the garbage and spread it around the kitchen. Even putting it under the counter didn't help, since he could use his paw to open the cabinet. I had to put "child-proof" locks on the cabinet to stop him. As far as "shredding," I've never had a cat who shredded the TP or other paper. But one of my current girls likes to chew on the edges of books. This is especially bad because I'm a bibliophile. I have lots of books all over the place. Fortunately, she doesn't bother the ones that are "shelved." She likes the ones that are stacked or have fallen onto the floor. So, to avoid this, I have to put the book that I read before bed into a plastic shoebox.
My boy cat had an adolescent phase where he loved to shred cardboard boxes into confetti. If he found a box, he would climb inside and methodically rip bite sized pieces off the edge. Since it was a relatively benign destructiveness we just made sure to pick up an empty box for him during our weekly grocery run 😂 He eventually outgrew it. Idk, maybe it was a teething thing?
Luckily none of my cats are interested in books. One loves to shred tissue paper so Christmas is his absolute favorite time of year and you can't leave receipts out. My cat that actually lives with me is much more chill but she learned that the door stopper makes fun noises and will play with it at night so it has to be covered with a towel 😂
@@brookeroadman7607 I had a cat that played with the doorstop. It made an annoying twanging sound but the cat didn't do it enough that we needed to resort to covering it. (I probably would have replaced it with one that didn't twang if it got to be too annoying.)
I’m going through a rough time right now and once again you’re helping me not to lose my mind. When I first started watching your videos 3 years ago I was dealing with the biggest tragedy of my life and I watched your videos all day long when I had no will to even talk to my closest friends. And now you’re helping me once again. I just wanna say a huge thank you for making my life better with your silly sims videos! Truly I appreciate you so much ❤
My cats don't get into papers, *however* they are food thieves 😭 We can't leave any food unattended in the house, they *will* jump on the tables and counters to get into it. Even vegetarian food isn't safe.
I had a kitten that would climb on our countries and eat all the food and our dog would snitch on him and bark like crazy. Dog police 🚨 Good luck with the little food thief haha
My cat Kratos will do that. I've set out meats to thaw in my sink and I'll come back and the wrapping is all broken from where he's been trying to get to it.
One of mine stole a potato when she was a tiny kitten. Just a whole raw potato that was almost as big as her. Still don't know how she managed - it was incredibly heavy and she had to open a packet to get it - but she took it all the way upstairs to play with it 😂
Chaos cats. I have a pair of tuxedo cat twins, and they are very bonded. They work together to open cabinets, drawers, etc. They even figured out how to trip the baby locks I put on their treat drawer (now former treat drawer). They are so fancy and sophisticated with their tuxedo markings and also pure, uncut chaos. I do like seeing then work together, though. It is adorable to see them figure out the puzzle of how to get into whatever I want to keep them out of. Also, they are paper shredders and cardboard shredders. They love to destroy cardboard.
As a fish keeper i love u for the "no bowls irl pls" disclaimer 😂 Our cat Shiro is also a chaos cat who can open lever handles 😂 loves to bite wires too it's sooo stressful. Actually re-homed her with my mom after her divorce for emotional support (and shes WAY BETTER BEHAVED THERE!?) but she's been out of state taking care of Grandma for the past few months so we've had to temporarily re-adopt Shiro which has been really hectic. We also have an angel senior who's 16 and the worst she does is meow really annoyingly and persistently in the morning because she wants food lol 😂
My oldest cat is an angel, just lives his life peacefully. Our youngest, we call a catorist (cat terrorist). He eats cables, jumps on monitors, digs up the carpet. And he knows he's being naughty coz he looks to see if you're watching! 😠🤣
That how mine are too. The older ones really don't care but the kittens 😅 when you tell them to cut it out, they look at you with these big eyes, like who me 🤣
My cats’ brand of chaos is food stealing. My old crotchety ex-feral cat that we rescued will hunt you down and basically rob you of your food. My very large cat that my vet thinks is mixed with bobcat has eaten the tops off of all the muffins cooling on the counter, the entire top of a whole pizza that was left out, and stole an entire sandwich at a baby shower at our house and went running through the whole house with an entire hoagie stuffed in his mouth.
… at that point i think i’d have to let him have the damn hoagie. i don’t think i would have the wherewithal to chase him down for it. granted i’m a chronic pain girlie, but i digress.
THIS IS SO MY SPOILED LITTLE CAT one time we were cooking chicken, and we made the mistake of not supervising him and he straight up stole the whole thing. We chased him for it and eventually he hid under the table just gnawing on it and growling at you whenever you tried to take it. Never had to fight a cat for food as much as him.
@@simones5124yes. It’s insane. Both my husband and I are avid readers and we have both saved many books from college over the years and this little kitten is just a monster some days…. Glad we’re not alone lol
0:36 I literally paused the video, ran to my sister, and yelled "LOOK WHAT'S JUST ABOVE THE CARDBOARD CUTOUT OF RICK ASTLEY! IT'S THRONE OF GLASS!" This is a very exciting development.
i realize that it's only like 30 seconds in but kayla offscreen going "i have this cardboard cutout" and then RICK ASTLEY POPPING IN SIDEWAYS "of rick astley" just sent me, I laughed so hard I choked. Love your content, keep up the good work!
I’ve got 5 cats. 2 of them are crazy at night cats, 1 of them is a door opener and paper shredder, another one is a crazy at night, paper shredder, door opener, and the last one is just a calm but a bit aggressive cat. So yeah, they are pretty normal 🤠
My chaos void just turned six. She's not a paper shredder, but if it's fabric and it can fit in her mouth, you're losing it. I just discovered a stash of socks and hair ties from my last roommate when I reupholstered my ottoman. I counted 27 socks, 12 hair ties, 3 bobby pins, one glove, and a T-shirt that has a ton of tiny rips and tears where she was getting her claws and teeth into the seams. My cat is a spoiled only child with a million toys but nope, socks do it for her.
My dog has a thing for fabric especially socks. He doesn’t chew them, he swallows them whole. He’s not allowed to be running around the house free anymore and has to be in a kennel when he’s alone. He’s snuck a couple when we weren’t looking and I’ve found full socks covered in puke in his kennel. Sometimes I think he’s suicidal 😂
My mum has a black kitten and she's a paper and cardboard shredder too. My cat Sooki is 9 and she's not into shredding but does like to jump into my wardrobe and sleep in my jumpers and cardigans, she's been shut in there so many times now lol
The convo about the “chaos cats” was so real lmao. I have four cats, one of which likes to do parkour jumps off of the walls in the middle of the night, and also literally ate my homework once when I was in high school. Thanks, Ina… Congrats on such a good charity stream so far! LOVE your videos Kayla!!! 💕💕💕
Words have magic in them, I swear. I'm a pharmacist who really enjoyed slow days because I suddenly had time to get cracking on other parts of my work rather than just serving customers all day long. Every time, a coworker said "It's so quiet today" and ten minutes later we were swamped for the rest of the day. Made me so frustrated 😂
They do. Go down that rabbit hole of word magic and if smart, you will leave many words from your vocabulary. Just like the word pharmaceutical. A word I won't stay and things I won't ingest.
I started this challenge last night, and I am continuing right now, first thing in the morning. After I finished roofing it last night, I asked my contractor husband for some advice of the roof, and he helped TREMENDOUSLY! Though he doesn't play The Sims, so it was hard to explain to him that I can't change anything about the walls, everything else is free game. I'm so excited to finish cuz this will be my first Lilsimsie Shell Challenge that I've participated in! And I really hope you see it Simsie! ❤️ I learned all my building tips from you!
With everything that we're pretty sure is coming in Sims 5, I think that shell challenges would be much more fun. Especially for those who want to work on their shells when not at home
this might be my favorite buid youve ever done, its so unique and beautiful, feels like a house youd see in italy or spain, its so pretty!! esp the interior and its color palette
I love hearing about your cats! We have chaos cats, too. They like to zoom around the house, but like -- parkour-ing off of us. We used to have a cat that opened accordion doors. Now our youngest (he's 1.5 years old now) likes to climb into kitchen cabinets (so we've had to put those child safety things on the handles that hold them closed) and he also likes to scratch at curtains so our beautiful curtains are gone 🥲
My cat used to shred paper towels, like "hugging" the roll and biting and kicking at it with her claws out. 😂 Another thing was her treats. She'd pull them out of the shelf and try to open them, so we had to put them in a drawer eventually. She was a real menace sometimes, but man, I do miss her. 💓
I did this a few days ago without looking at yours first, and it's so very different! The word "shark" had me building a mermaid family home in Sulani; unfortunately, I got carried away enough to make a family for it, so it comes up as having custom content, because I took family photos. It was definitely a difficult one; I gave up and just did a flat roof for part of it.
While not being a chaos cat, my little lady likes to sit paper/cardboard/newspaper a lot. we dont really know why, its like her paws get cold and she's drawn to it. she also bites the ends of cardboard boxes sometimes, when she's throwing a tantrum about not getting her food whenever she wants. she's a bit moody and a glutton but we're getting it under control :) thank u for the vid simsie! ur so close to 2M!!! ily
the exterior of the build is giving 90's-2000's small mansion style and i love it. you're not wrong that it looks like an olive garden, but i think it's timely and you executed the style amazingly! the exterior would've been my dream house in 2003
Never let the kittens find toilet paper lol. I had an older cat who would not only shred toilet paper, but EAT it. His breed of chaos was very food oriented tbh. He'd scream for food all the time, and he was deaf so it was truly a scream, nowhere near a meow. He loved basically all human food and would get into anything he could, including just stealing food off my plate, or even my mouth lmao. He was super clumsy too. Mans rolled off the bed on far more than one occasion. He was a very special cat. This is probably silly to mention but I lost this cat quite recently and appreciate the chance to ramble about him in the comments of a youtube video haha. He means so much to me and it was nice to type out his exploits for strangers to enjoy, so thanks for reading I guess. I love you Bagheera 🖤
Just letting you know Lilsimsie, Saint Jude’s can be very cruel to children and will reject sick cancer patient children if they’re “too sick” because it’ll “ruin their survival percentage”. My family runs a nonprofit pageant that donates all proceeds to childhood cancer research and they have rejected many of the children we work with for being “too sick” and allowed them to die in pain. Saint Jude’s isn’t the best place to donate if you wanna support childhood cancer research
Omg I didn’t know any of this. The elementary school I went to had a big fundraiser for St. Jude’s every year. I’m glad it could’ve helped some kids, but damn that’s awful that they turn away people who need to care
I love love love that you tell people not to use fish bowls. that makes me so happy every time I hear you say it. especially with beta fish, I have no idea why people think something so small is meant to sustain life in any sort of healthy and happy way.
Thank you so much for doing the donations to St. Jude! My partner's brother passed last week after losing his 4 year long battle against cancer, but he was only able to stay with his family as long as he did for because of St. Jude.
I'm not even gonna front with you, Kayla... i use that tiger wallpaper OFTEN lol. Specifically in the pink on pink swatch. I just adore it. I also loooove using the decor to the max kit tiles in bathrooms.
I have 2 cats and they're both pure chaos, whether forcibly opening the door while you're using the bathroom, stealing small items, joining you in the shower, playing fetch, or randomly attacking each other/a stuffed toy my baby sister made me. They're the best chaos cats ever
My cat was a paper shredder but he only shredded receipts. Needless to say if you bought anything, you definitely wouldn't be returning it haha. He was really good at opening doors as well, even sliding doors!
Honestly doing a wallpaper like that funky strawberry colourful one or an epic mural is so satisfying for the soul haha. You'd have to get your wall sanded atleast remotely flat though. If you decide to do it or let it be done, make sure for excellent ventilation and masks for very fine particles!!!!
i swear my shell builds are cursed. when i did the llama shell i had JUST figured out the floor plan with that stupid basement when my game crashed and i hadn’t saved. when i was working on this one i had the same bug as kayla did where i tried to save and it never stopped and i had to force quit to escape it. luckily it did actually save, otherwise i think i would have abandoned it.
Oh my gosh! That saving glitch thing has happened to me like 4 times in the past 1-2 months & it always makes me so anxious when I build! So I've just been saving obsessively when I build! Honestly glad to know it's not just something that's been happening to me! 🙈
I think you are one of the hardest working Sims content creators out there. Along with the videos you upload on RUclips you stream nearly everyday not to forget all the work you do for St Judes 👏 😁 🥰
I've two black kitties, a boy and a girl. My male kitty LOVES post, he hoards it in specific places around the house. They both love to shred up cardboard, there's just little pieces of cardboard everywhere, but they don't' seem fussed about paper towels thankfully! They can open drawers, but they don't purposefully do it as it just tends to happen as they're climbing up the drawers. But they will then pull things out of the drawers xD
I think this is one of my favorite builds you've done! love the entire colour scheme, layout and furniture you picked. I think you should build more houses that are a little more spacious.
Thanks for doing the st.Jude charity i can vouch that they do what they say they do and are amazing to the people who have to come there my brother was rushed there when he was still alive and they took care of us for free and helped with the living and food for when we were up there and he was being treated and they still honor them after they pass for 4 years. They helped us greive and he wouldn't have lived as long as he did without them. (P.S. Unforchunatly my family isn't financially stable enough to donate ourselves but they definitely use the money to help the patients and their families 😊)
So I have 3 cats: Lenny: Can also open doors, just like you described. He can also open kitchen cabinets. He almost never does it, but when we're on holiday and the neighbours feed our cats, he sometimes opens the cabinet where the cat food is stored and breaks into the food. (happened 3 times) Odin: Odin likes to lick the sticky part on envelopes. New ones and used ones : ). I don't know why. Bacardi: Sometimes I think this little dude has pica or something. He likes to eat: Beats, corn, kale, cheese, yoghurt (regular and strawberry), pasta, noodles, cake (which he cannot have, but he tries), raisins (which he also cant have, since it is poisonous to him) and when my mom drank coffee and she pours some water in that glass, so it does not stain as much, and puts it in the sink, he likes to drink that water. He also likes to put his toys in the water bowl and than throw them around the living room :)
when i’m away at college, my cats will come into my room and drag out all of my stuffed animals i have on my shelves into the hallway 😭 every morning i wake up to see several stuffed animals just placed outside. idk why they do this, but it’s really cute
We have 2 rescued cats, one is now quite old, she used to bite a LOT but always wants to be pet now, the other one is way younger and she's quite the k***er, she brought back dozens of squirrels and none are left in the neighborhood. They are the bests. ❤
I love when little Simpson is willing to use the decor of the max kit. I know everybody likes to make fun of it, but I ironically love the stuff from it. The blue tiger wallpaper is one of my favorites. No lie. I love it and I love that she use it for this bedroom. I love it.
i got a kitten october last year after losing my 13 year old childhood cat, and he is such a menace at times. he’s obsessed with jumping on our counters and fridge, as well as getting in cabinets and closets. he also likes chewing cardboard, thankfully not shred, but biting. oh, and he eats christmas lights. i used to have them strung around my room but had to take them down cause he was eating them, and now that they’re gone he instead eats thumb tacks off the wall that are hanging things. can’t catch a break
I have three cats. The eldest can find food anywhere and will do whatever it takes to get it. The middle can open any door, including the back and front door so we have to lock everything. The baby will shred tp and paper towels and can open the bin. They're all a special type of chaos.
I don't have a paper cat, I have a paper Mastiff, and he does like tissues, he used to pull all the Kleenex out of the box on the back of the couch one by one
My cats aren't paper shredders BUT one of them loves clawing up the couch legs, tearing up the bottoms of the sofa and box spring, etc. And the other stares at himself in the mirror and paws at himself for minutes on end if you don't stop him. They both also meow extremely loudly if we are not directly in sight.
We live next to the forest and our cat has gotten into the habit of what we call his "night shifts", where he leaves to explore most of the night. He's discovered that he's an excellent hunter and now his chaos trait is making us little mouse presents or bringing them in alive to play. He's even straight up caught a woodpecker once. Very proud of his skills but ugh.
I have 4 cats and 3 dogs. They all have different personalities, one of the cats is a paper shredder, another is a climber, one is the outgoing princess that loves people, and the last cat is the chubb pure muscle shy loaf. Most of them don't like dogs and it's chaos every day. The way I love it.
more than once since we've gotten the for rent expansion pack, when lilsimsie posts a shell challenge (or i find an older one), i always end up making rental lots. it really helps me deal with the weird shapes because then i can allot a certain section/level/whatever to either be someone's portion of the rental or make it a shared space. i say all of this because it's what i did with this build today because i saw that wildly shaped back piece and instead of making it something i had to roof, i made it a shared balcony with skill building items LMAO
my kittens are also paper shredders! like mail, homework and even paper towels. They also LOVE going into to all kinds of bags. It never gets boring with chaos cats
I adopted an orange kitten recently, and he's the definition of chaos. He likes to nibble on hands, hair, and wires (Thankfully he didn't hurt himself). When he runs, all you see is orange, and he loves to play with my keyboard. I wouldn't change anything about him though, he's a cute chaos gremlin.😭💖
I have three cats and all three of them have been trained not to jump up on the counters, that’s really helped keeping them out of some things but one of them goes absolutely nuts for plastic and cardboard. The other loves to bite fruit (but not eat it) so we wake up sometimes to find the cherry tomatoes scattered on the floor with little teeth marks in them 😂
My chaos cat would shred lots of things. She would get into paper towel, toilet paper, cardboard, etc. it took months of training but now she’s better (not perfect) but doesn’t shred stuff as much. Best thing is to get them one of those cardboard pieces that are meant for cats to shred bc it seems to cut back on the shredding of important stuff
I had a ginger tom when I was younger named Sunkist. He brooded, until like around 1am most nights where it seemed like he had no brain and did the stupidest things. Running into walls and doors all the time. I miss him.
I have a foster mom who gave birth to one solitary black kitten. We named him Chaos cause "chaos kittens". He climbs walls, shreds toilet paper and has gone swimming in the toilet more than once in his short life time. 🖤
I have two cats. One's chaos behavior is destroying house plants and knocking over water glasses (once she ruined my roommate's laptop with this behavior). She's the real chaos bean of the two - she also jumps on top of doors (and then yells for me to get her down) and scales door frames/window screens. The other's chaos is flinging large amounts of litter out of his (well-kept) litter box and digging through the kitchen trash can (mostly for butter wrappers).
My chaos cat is a screamer, and (im a costumer) he loves messing with tulle, wigs, and tissue paper. He made a fort out of my giant hollow mushroom hat. I love him tho haha
I completely get you on the kitten thing! I had a kitten a couple of years ago who passed away and I recently got a new kitten and she is so different. My new baby is a paper shredder too! Tissues, toilet paper, receipts, important documents anything paper... even litter liners! She is also so vocal and playful which my last kitten never was hahaha
i've never done a shell challenge before, i've always wanted to but I never seem to catch them on time. But i have been watching your daily st jude charity stream VODs so i could do it this time!!!! It was hard at the start but I loved the way mine turned out! I built like a modern LA style kinda home with fancy ponds and stuff :D Probably the best build i've done I love it so much!!!!! It took me HOURSSS
24:30 my interpretation of the “jack and jill” bathroom is that the bathroom is the hill that go up to get water? i’ve never thought about it too much, just accepted that’s what it’s called. according to the internet, it’s named “…after the concept of 2 people using it at the same time.”
My sister's cat Winter is chaotic when the family is leaving! Always "trying to escape"(he got catnapped once)(trying as in goes in the hall and waits for us to chase). Recently started taking him on walks! My sister and I are planning to move! I also remember when he did the same thing to paper/cardboard! We had to discipline him once it got bad because sadly we had cats pass from eating stuff like paper, blankets, and plastic just because it was out! Also, I have been watching your channel for many years and have created school assignments off of you whenever I am told to write about someone I admire! I hope one day to meet you in person and get to know you!
My cat is definitely a paper shredder, ever since we got her she absolutely loves tearing toilet paper to shreds, all around the house we have to hide every single roll of toilet paper/paper towels in a cabinet. Thankfully, she doesnt tear letters or mail though. She is also an absolute food fiend, if there is meat or food on the counter she hops up to have a bite. If cake or food crumbs are on the floor, she has no problem eating those too. She loves especially milk, butter/margarine, and cheese. And of course, cakes, creamy desserts, chocolate and whatnot.
I have a chaos cat that knocks cups off of surfaces, so you can't leave any cups out. He also steals hair bands and hides them. My other cat is just really long and a good jumper and very smart, and the two of them have worked together before to open our sliding door to get outside.
My "chaos cats" get into everything. They open cabinets (below and up high). Their favorite hiding spot is *behind* two drawers in my kitchen. We just now stopped trying to jump to the top of the bookshelf (one is 2 the other is 1 1/2.) they are full scale chaos. We also cannot have pet beds, my oldest likes to mark. It's wonderful.
I like to puzzle and have to leave puzzles out on the table for long periods of time, so, what I do is lay a large towel over the puzzle and table so my cats can't mess up the puzzle or steal pieces. You could lay a sheet or something like it over your dining table if you wanted, to keep the kitties from damaging anything.
First, thank you for what you are doing with charity; having to do daily uploads along with streaming every day is a lot! Second this shell was so fun! It was my first time participating in a shell challenge that I actually uploaded to the gallery. I however lost my progress THREE TIMES from the game crashing but that’s just the sims 4 I guess 🤪
My 12 year old cat can open cabinet doors. He likes to open the doors, peek inside for anything interesting, then leave. Every time I adopt kittens they seem to be extra chaotic LOL. Had multiple cats at once be able to open the dresser drawers, had to put child safety latches on them all😂
I have 4 cats and one of them, Rex is a paper shredder. He's the same way he only really shreds like mail or paper like you write on. He doesn't really rip the toilet paper thankfully. I think it's the specific sound of that paper that they like. Also my cat Kratos knew how to open our cabinets when we got him and he taught all the other 3 cats how to get into them. It's gotten to the point that we had to put baby safe locks on the cabinets, which he's already broken a couple, cause it'll be 4 am and you'll be hearing him run in and out of the cabinets. He's currently yelling at me. He also knows how to open doors. He's lucky he's cute
i have a black cat who LOVES shredding cardboard. she's never shredded paper, tho. her new fun hobby this week is trying to break into my bedroom closet 🙄 hasn't figured it out, yet, but that doesn't stop her from trying! my other cat is 17 and gives up immediately in the face of even the slightest inconvenience
Talis (grey and cream Manx with a partial tail) used to climb the screen on the window… But I taught her not to by pulling her off every time and saying, “not okay!” Consistency is key. Also it was in a very small studio. Then I moved to an apartment almost 3 times as big… Now she just runs around at night.
My cat is named Calcifer, and the name suits him well. He shreds papertowels. And his scratching post of his cat palace tower is in need of new jute rope, and the guest daybed trendle bed we got for in my husband's man cave is totally destroyed on one arm of it. That last one has really pissed me off. We have not even gotten to have a guest stay on it yet, and it looks like we could have been picked up from a dumpster when it was literally brand new. So, I feel you on the cats that Shred things. Just need to keep up on them and hopefully, eventually, they will stop.
I have two cats, the eldest one is kind of like Snap: sweet, quiet and sleepy - just so easy to take care of... the second one has middle child energy lol, she has pooped on my pillows multiple times, and she goes to drink water in the toilet bowl (SHE HAS A FANCY WATER DISPENSOR THING) and just spills water everywhere......
Regarding chaos cats, my boy has decided he likes to eat fabric. Especially socks. And sure, if we leave socks on the ground, at this point it's our fault if they're full of holes because Chicory will chew on them and we know it. But this weekend when packing my closet for a move, I discovered he also chewed on the bottoms of several of my dresses in the closet! Including trying to get into the protective cover of my wedding dress - which he thankfully didn't succeed in. Suffice it to say, he is no longer allowed in the closet.
i have 3 cats. my oldest old man makes hidden stashes of items he drags around the house. it can literally be ANYTHING. barbie clothes, my socks, hair ties, etc. i won't even know about these stashes until months later when I'm cleaning. he will also dig into our seasonal items and drag our gloves and hats all over the place.
I started this when I saw it a few days ago it’s funny to see how different people take things my first idea was a run down abandoned library with the shape ( i couldn’t figure out a floor plan and figured libraries are usually pretty open 😭)
HAHA love the chaos cat stories!! My sister old cat use to get into the cupboards and bite bread. Not eat it just bite it randomly. My two cats love to destroy blinds, lick tape or labels and find anything small and bat it around the house. lol Never ending fun times.
When one of my cats was a kitten, he would chew on cords. Headphone cords. I lost like three pairs of headphones the first month we had him. Thankfully, I use the cheap kind, so they weren’t expensive to replace. I also have a cat who can open the drawer and get his treats out. So sometimes you’ll hear him trying to open it at night and have to get up out of bed to stop him. Both of these are male cats. I also have two female cats, and they are absolute angels.
In my dads house we have a sliding door, and its kind broken, we have to force it open sometimes cause it will randomly get stuck on something. And our cats food bowls is behind that slide door - it's also the entrance area. SO when we have guest, we put our cats in the entrance area, cause they don't like ppl and to help them not be scared a whole evening. But one of my cats absolutely can't handle closed doors, so when the sliding door is closed, there is still a small bit of space from the door to the wall - and my cat with sheer face strengt and determination, will pry that door open. And it's loud, so we almost thinks there is a breakin everytime, but no - its just the stupid cat
Our kitten likes to chew on wires. A LOT. To the point that if she's not supervised, she can't be given free reign to run around our apartment. We had to empty out our spare bedroom for her, it has extra cat trees and a litterbox and toys etc. When we sleep or when we have to go out, she has to go to her room. It's the only way to keep her safe and make sure she doesn't start a fire or electrocute herself by chewing on a wire when we aren't around to stop her. (Edited to add, her bedroom is bigger than my childhood bedroom was, and I shared it with 3 other kids lol)
My cat Linus was a chaos plastic chewer. You literally couldn't leave any plastic bags out for even a minute because then you would hear him chewing on them (a whole new level of sensory nightmare unlocked...), then the bags/etc would be wet and have holes all over. We lost many a ziplock and grocery bag to that cat
My dad's ashes are on a shelf in my livingroom. along with some trinckets. My cat likes to jump up there and specifically knocks my dad off the shelf. Nothing else, just my dad.
i'm so sorry for you
I've discovered that I have the unique ability to completely f up Lilsimsie shells and make them look like a shanty town. I try tho.
Ok but now I'm curious 😅 Do you mind sharing your gallery ID? Did you upload them to the gallery?
@@dutchieplays I have uploaded nothing because nobody would believe I could be 20 years in to the sims and suck this badly. Maybe there’s a market for that tho? It’ll help everyone else feel much better about their skills
@@andreataranenko4811I'm 5 years into the Sims, I forgot to put a bathroom in my shell because I messed up the floorplan 😅
I’ve been playing since the day Sims 2 came out, and I routinely forget to put in a mailbox, causing it to spawn in lovely locations like the middle of the living room. And I still somehow build stairs that don’t work and have to be re-made for unknown reasons. Or only pets and toddlers can use them, even where there should be nothing blocking them and move objects is turned off 😅
And turning shells in to shanty towns sounds pretty cool, imo.
Keep trying! It's about having fun!
I feel like I suck at building too.
Genuinely, I prefer doing shell challenges or getting shells off the gallery, because honestly I cannot for the life of me come up with my own shell and make it look decent.
31:00 you're the first simstuber i've seen use a fishbowl in a build and actually acknowledge that they're bad irl, i respect that
Same! I always pretend that they are a terrarium or that there are snails when I use it in a build
Maybe I'm slow or something coz idk why there bad for them..?
@@princesslaisha2615I’m not an expert but if I remember correctly it’s because it makes them swim in circles which creates an artificial fight or flight response I believe, and creates a lot of stress for the fish because they only swim like that if predators are around
@@princesslaisha2615 mostly its that theyre much too small, even small fish like bettas need lots of space to be happy and healthy
@@princesslaisha2615
They’re too small and cause stress as already mentioned.
My cat bites books too!! He'll go for the ones on the shelf though 😅
My best friend's cats will eat any food you leave out. 😂
Truly I appreciate you so much ❤
Things will look up my friend! Sending you love
@@BaileyB1011 thank you!
Hope yous alright mate ❤
Hope things get better for you soon. Will be keeping you in my prayers darlin! ****BIG HUGS****
I hope the dark storm passes soon. sending you lots of love!🌞 💛
My cats don't get into papers, *however* they are food thieves 😭 We can't leave any food unattended in the house, they *will* jump on the tables and counters to get into it. Even vegetarian food isn't safe.
My cat likes to chew on bread 😅 no bag of bread so safe in this house
I had a kitten that would climb on our countries and eat all the food and our dog would snitch on him and bark like crazy. Dog police 🚨 Good luck with the little food thief haha
This is mine with pistachios.
As a fish keeper i love u for the "no bowls irl pls" disclaimer 😂
Our cat Shiro is also a chaos cat who can open lever handles 😂 loves to bite wires too it's sooo stressful.
The looking to see if you’re watching 😂😂 kinda cute
That how mine are too. The older ones really don't care but the kittens 😅 when you tell them to cut it out, they look at you with these big eyes, like who me 🤣
I've got a cable chewer too. White charging cables are her favorite- we have had to replace so many phone chargers.
The fish bowl disclaimer cracked me up, but it's so true. Fish bowls are so cute in the sims! Use as many as you want! But oh my God please not irl 😭🤣
He’s such a skilled hunter 😂
… at that point i think i’d have to let him have the damn hoagie. i don’t think i would have the wherewithal to chase him down for it. granted i’m a chronic pain girlie, but i digress.
THIS IS SO MY SPOILED LITTLE CAT one time we were cooking chicken, and we made the mistake of not supervising him and he straight up stole the whole thing. We chased him for it and eventually he hid under the table just gnawing on it and growling at you whenever you tried to take it. Never had to fight a cat for food as much as him.
17:38 my void kitten try’s to eat books. I literally cannot with him some days.
Same! Mine chew on the corners 😅
@@simones5124yes. It’s insane. Both my husband and I are avid readers and we have both saved many books from college over the years and this little kitten is just a monster some days…. Glad we’re not alone lol
@@simones5124 same here😅🥰
0:36 I literally paused the video, ran to my sister, and yelled "LOOK WHAT'S JUST ABOVE THE CARDBOARD CUTOUT OF RICK ASTLEY!
Next challenge: in honor of Seymour
Grind for a cowplant, name it Audrey (or Audrey II) open a flower shop and have it eat an employee and a customer
poor Shrimpy I'm crying laughing 😂
he's like the himbo of the kittens I cannot-
The convo about the “chaos cats” was so real lmao. I have four cats, one of which likes to do parkour jumps off of the walls in the middle of the night, and also literally ate my homework once when I was in high school. Thanks, Ina…
Congrats on such a good charity stream so far!
^That retail trick is REAL
Rick just casually peeping around the corner, in the background 😂😂
this might be my favorite buid youve ever done, its so unique and beautiful, feels like a house youd see in italy or spain, its so pretty!! esp the interior and its color palette
I love love love that you tell people not to use fish bowls. that makes me so happy every time I hear you say it. especially with beta fish, I have no idea why people think something so small is meant to sustain life in any sort of healthy and happy way.
this might be the most podcasty video ever and im so here for it
Thank you so much for doing the donations to St. Jude! My partner's brother passed last week after losing his 4 year long battle against cancer, but he was only able to stay with his family as long as he did for because of St. Jude.
This isn't anything new, but you are SUCH a talented builder! It's inspiring and so fun to watch!
On small rooms - I used to divide big open spaces with bookshelves and stuff to make nooks because they feel so much more cozy.
The funniest thing to me is that my favorite rooms to furnish are hallways and bathrooms, and I lose patience with cluttering and landscaping 😂
Every time I watch a shell challenge I wonder how would the Feng Shui guy solve it... Nice video as always 😊
Absolutely love this build! The landscaping is just wonderful 🔥🔥
I love everything about this build, the colour scheme isn’t usually my thing but in this house it’s looks so good!! I love the landscaping too 🔥🔥
I think this is one of my favorite builds you've done! love the entire colour scheme, layout and furniture you picked.
A new shell challenge
The perfect timing
LILSIMSIES AMAZING
So I have 3 cats:
Lenny: Can also open doors, just like you described. He can also open kitchen cabinets. He almost never does it, but when we're on holiday and the neighbours feed our cats, he sometimes opens the cabinet where the cat food is stored and breaks into the food. (happened 3 times)
Odin: Odin likes to lick the sticky part on envelopes.
Woo new shell challenge let’s go
thanks for sharing, you inspired me to try something new
Rick Astley, not only getting people with the Rickroll but also, the jumpscare. The man can do it all.
You could lay a sheet or something like it over your dining table if you wanted, to keep the kitties from damaging anything.
this build is beautiful! i love the 2000s Olive Garden energy.
I was actually stalking ur sims library and came across this shell a few days ago LOL First one i managed to make decent looking
Kayla how are you even functioning I could never.. she post everyday and does long 🫏 twitch’s.. your dedication and commitment is 🐐 (g.o.a.t)
Probably lot of pre filming. Sometimes filming her twitch and shortening it for RUclips.
