@@rosebush18 even with the NS disabled, sims still die from old age, but I think if Stanley lived a full life it wouldn't be that bad. Imagine meeting his descendants a few generations later and marrying into Humphrey legacy 😂

This turned out so well! Also you don’t *need* the bar for the Strangerville story, unless you’re specifically needing a Military person, the library works pretty good too, particularly the scientists show up here.
In my hometown we have a super popular drive in with the same thing, a drive thru with an extremely short line and a walk up window. If the food's good and it's a local legend of a business, no one will care too much about cars spilling into the street lmao
I came into the comments to say the same thing! We have a popular donut shop here with a super short drive-thru line and one whole lane of the street is just stopped up with cars at peak times. It definitely happens haha
Recently I put Stanley in my game, he lives in Newcrest, he sleeps in a tent, has a cooler for food and has a pee bush and his job is a part-time fast food worker now that I saw this video, I love that Stanley has his own Hotdog restaurant I'm putting this in my game for him!
This reads like youre keeping him as a pet and youre adding this to his enclosure. The collective pet hot dog, Stanley.

So I’ve just downloaded this and edited it (due to my limited packs) and I love this. I think it fits well in copperdale (as I don’t have stranger ville)- I’ve also added some more Stanley photos (search the gallery someone’s uploaded some!). I love this build- I just LOVE IT ❤

This is so random but this build reminds me so much of a hot dog place I used to go to with my grandma when I was little and would stay over with her. She died a few days ago and I’ve been struggling so it’s really nice to be reminded of good memories like that. Love the build!
I was going through your older videos and accidentally stumbled upon Stanley's origin video. I never once questioned why a young lady would make a sim of a man in a hotdog suit but of course he was randomized LOL

I watched this live and the build and chat made me so happy. The day before we unfortunately had to put down my oldest cat and this helped me so so much. I usually dont show up to your build streams but i needed a distraction and this came at a perfect time for me ❤❤❤❤

I love this idea so much. The name is perfect 😂 I live in Rhode Island and we have a local Hot Dog restaurant named "Spike's Junkyard Dogs" it's mostly dedicated to hotdogs but they have fries, burgers, pizzas, etc... All of the names of the different hot dogs are super creative.

Honestly Kayla, the fact that the drive thru is too small is super realistic for the small town mom and pop diner feel. My town has a place called The Wonder Whip that has the most offensively small parking lot on the face of the planet and yes, it does back traffic up half a mile down the highway during the dollar cone hour.

We have some drive thru's with short lines like that and they DO block traffic. Anything built new has to allow for 40 cars before the road now, or have no drive thru.
This honestly reminds me of a small restaurant near my work "Burger Inn" amazing food, very small place, looks about 50 years old, and the drive through line reaches the street sometimes

In the kitchen, I think you need to put a clock on the wall, and also put on a window, when I was working for Micky Ds (yes, me, shocking I know), we used to look out the window and watch the position of the sun to see what time it is. Plus we used to open the freezer for a couple of minutes during the hot Summer months. This was back in the 90s.

the town i used to live in had a dairy queen that had a drive thru almost exactly like that. the line often extended on to the street and it was really annoying, but it does exist!

In all honest there needs more hotdogs varients other then regular and veggie hotdog. Speaking from experince and here in Denmark we have different kind of hotdogs you can order at any hotdog vendor. Just look up Danish Hotdog. You can have a traditional one, you can have one with in a whole bread bun, you can get ringridder hotdog (regional to Sønderjylland). I have even tried a hotdog where the bun is cabbage it was really good.
Cute build and it made me chuckle. I downloaded a restaurant someone build inside the plane crash out there - I named it "Crash Into Flavor". Strangerville has a special place in my heart now anyway since NSB G8 saved the town, but the restaurant is one of my favorites.

Using Carl's Mods Dine Out Reloaded mod is perfect for this, so customers can ACTUALLY order and pick up their food from that window AND you can do takeout orders as well. Love it!
