I love the challenges lately
That's my favorite wood swatch in the game, that's why I use Eco Lifestyle, DHD and Horse Ranch a LOT lol. This house is so cute but I'm not a fan of how jarring the living room rug looked with the soft mints, I was hoping it'd be swapped out last minute for the whole vid 😂

I've noticed this a lot. A lot of Simmers seem to think that rug has mint in it when it doesn't. I've seen it multiple times with multiple Simmers.

This is one of my favorite builds you’ve done and I think it’s because you couldn’t overthink it-you just went with the flow and I think it turned out great! I’m also a chronic overthinker so maybe i should try this too

The bathroom is/was my default setup 😂 and id use the black round rug in the center. Thank gods ive expanded. I definitely feel like i couldnt do this challenge this well 😂

Maybe you should make a family who wears clothes in only the default swatch. Their last name could be DeFault. And I would switch the keyboard out for a desk and computer 😊
you should try a decades build challenge! so each house you build would need to be true to the 50s, 60s, 70s, etc!
You should try to do a challenge where you have to build a house but only use the pre-built and styled rooms by EA!

Edit: Other ideas include only using the 3rd or Xth number swatch for all build items. Or bringing back the wheel to determine room size, budget, and style. Or revisiting James' or Plumbella's RNGs

Challenge idea! Use the Simray to transform 5 whatevers into 5 new furniture items for you to build a house around. 5 toilets? Make it work!
im early so im here to say that ts4 needs to bring back ts2 swatch system! a decent amount of things you could change the color between swatches of certain parts similar to create a style (but waaaaaaaaaaay less buggy and laggy)
Mmmmm same challenge idea except you have the house already built/furnished and then change everything to their default swatch.
Everything that once looked nice and cohesive ends up being the house equivalent of a randomly generated townie outfit

I think it's a good build tbh. It seemed like there were two sliding doors to the back. I think the one of them wasn't necessary. A book case could have taken it's place leaving the entrance less squishy. Otherwise, this was good normal looking house that could fit in many neighborhoods!
Yeah i think the dining room would've fit better in the kitchen where one of the doors is

it's honestly fun to see weird colors bc its more realistic that way in my opinion like the usual household doesn't always have pretty colored pots and stuff ex) my house has a neon blue colored bath towel in our main bathroom lol

Do a random swatch challenge as in every object is a random swatch you roll a number and count until you get to the swatch ike if you roll a 3 for a fridge you have to use the third swatch please do this I beg you

@@user-vl9yu1tq6h YES I was going to say pick a random number like 3 and do the third swatch of everything, but your suggestion is even more fun. That way we get the chaos plus the surprise of random swatches we might normally miss
this would take literally hours to roll for every single object, that’s like 150-200 rolls per build
@@juliashirokova8374 she already spends hours doing her builds anyway besides this wouldn't take that long she's done similar challenges before
this is a great idea! maybe even take it a step further and spin a wheel or random number for the object by category lol

Challenge idea: intentionally making a build where the wood tones don't match. I'll use my own home as an examole: I have black shutters and exterior door, white interior doors, white trim, dark brown floors, cherry wood kitchen table, black cabinets, tan bookshelves, ash coffee table, medium wood console table, and that's just what I can see from my living room. There's more throughout. It looks good in the Sims, but I feel like most homes don't have wood tones that perfectly match in real life so it may be a fun challenge to just not even try... At least for Kayla who likes to have matching wood tones throughout her builds

I don't know if there's a build challenge that involves the pack styles. Like build a house like Selva dorada style or Sulani style for example, every world in the Sims has a "vibe" that you can feel and it will awesome to see a construction and you know from what pack is inspired. Or maybe constructions with story, like building a house for a double agent, or a hidden alien trying to fit with another's sims hehe.

Thatd be really cute! But she originally didn’t know how many- if any- of the sewer kitties she was going to keep. You may already know this so I apologize if you do; I just know how much she struggled to share her journey when it came to the kittens when it was still all three and momma kitty. And she felt like she couldn’t talk about what she was thinking about doing with them because of trolls, mean commenters, and all the judgement.
