Awe, what a polite young man! I just got a rescue Aussie and I hope someday he’ll be as patient with grooming as Frankie.

I’ve never trimmed my Aussies ears. I brought her to a groomer on my other one. I just brushed them and trim behind the rear end. I’m wondering if your trim around the dirt there I was thinking that keep the long hair along around the ears so dirt can’t get into the ear. I thought that’s what the long fur was for, keep them from getting an ear infection. You Did a very nice job on the dog.

The hair behind the ear is a different texture and mats easily which is why I like to trim it short; it also accentuates the head better for when we show. I find that they are more prone to ear infections and dirt/water stays trapped in the ear more easily when they have a lot of hair inside the ear, which is why I take it shorter when I groom other dogs as well:). Thank you!

hi, Im just here to give u some tips, I recommend when using the mechanical nail filer, u should use a mask for your own good. that dust can get in your lungs and its really not good for you, by other than that it was awesome1 :)

That's a great idea, thanks! With Covid I haven't been wanting to wear a mask any more than I have to, lol.

Is he a mini Aussie? He looks smaller than my regular Aussie. Mine is 70 lbs, not overweight, just a big boy. Thanks for the tips. I didn’t know that there’s a detangled spray.

He is a regular sized Aussie, but on the smaller side. He’s 50lbs ;)
