It was ridiculous for him to do that given that the language was more out of joy than malice. NBC can't be taken seriously as the home of hockey in the U.S. if they continue to treat the sport with respect as evidenced by not sticking with the entire Cup celebration.

My brother, fiancé and I sat in Busch stadium in the rain and enjoyed every second! What a game! What a series! What a season! Memories we will never forget! And might I mention how incredible it is that the Cardinals opened their stadium for the Blues watch party. The cooperation between the two Franchises has been amazing.

That was absolutely the most fantastic, emotion endusing season I've seen. But one of the best things from this playoff run was coming across THG. Can't wait till October!

This whole Blues season reminds me of when the Penguins won in 2016. Both teams fired their coach halfway into the season, and had a rookie goalie steal the show.

I don’t know if you’ll see this, but I wanted to get it out there anyway. I’ve watched you as a Blues fan through 2 series of teams you cheer for. I have an immense amount of respect for what you’ve done through those. You’ve been blunt and honest. You’ve told the stories other sources either ignore or don’t pay attention to or don’t see. And you have filmed these regardless of how much crap you’ve gotten from all sides. And regardless of how difficult it may have been at times. Thank you for your breakdowns.

As a Blues fan, I can relate to how the Canucks and Sabres fans must feel now as the current most longsuffering in the league....that's how Blues fans felt in 2012 after the Kings won their first Cup. I'd put them (in the current era) down as Never (1992)...

Congratulations to the Blues/fans and the wonderful city of St. Louis. I'm originally from Long Island, NY. My grandmother (mom's mom) was born in St. Louis after my great grandfather immigrated from Greece to Ellis Island and was then sent to St. Louis to help build the RR. My father also used to live in St. Louis with both his sister's when he was a bachelor. He later moved to NY for a better career opportunity. I grew up in NY and am a huge Islanders fan which I wouldn't give up for anything, but today is a special day for my family; aunt's, cousins, a nephew, this BUDS 4 U!!! Congrats you guys, and God rest my Uncle Nick, grandmother, and great grandfather's souls, your St. Louis Blues have finally captured the Stanley Cup. I remember the Hull and Oates error. I admit I was wrong, I thought Bruins would win in 5; very sloppy in there own end all series. Great job Shannon 👍

I didn't fear San Jose in the next round and the Stars matched up great with Boston but oh well, the better team won in the end. I honestly thought the puck went in on the Benn wrap around right before you guys scored in the 2nd OT. To go from that high and then about 60ish seconds later Maroon put in that weird bounce off a Thomas shot was a sledgehammer to the gut. I rooted for you guys after that because if you're gonna lose in 2OT in game 7 it might as well be to the future champs. Only 95 days till preseason
