An older member in my family used to have an intercom for the door and she pressed the button to open the door there was a bell that sounded just like this
I think the first uploader with this horn thought he was sent some parts only not realizing it was basically like a mini horn being not as loud though I doubt hotels had these installed in rooms during that time since usually really loud alarms were in the hallways
