Hurricane has been around for quite a while now and there's one thing I haven't heard mentioned by Kaedon or any of their drivers who post on RUclips... How many successful lease completions have there been , and how many of those occurred in the last ten years? This should be one of the MOST IMPORTANT questions asked by a prospective employee IMO.... this is a question that should be asked of ANY lease/ purchase company..
Well that's funny I worked for y'all not long when my son went to children's hospital in Dallas and was do on home time I got unloaded in Oklahoma City and was told I couldn't go see him for my home time I had to take the truck that I was leasing to the terminal to get a pm that it couldn't wait. So tell me again how your treat your drivers with respect. O then I was let go. I guess I bit the hand that feed funny. What a load of smoke.
This so-called owner can make any situation look beneficial to his company. But when your family emergency overrules them making them money? Your emergency doesn't matter at all to the company. I'm a local company truck driver making $37hr taking home $2,590 a week i think OTR should be taking home more than me after expenses since they are OTR and are hardly ever home 🏡

on a 1099...it's gross money...you need to keep all receipts etc and list them on your taxes...bad part is if you live in a state that has state tax besides ..also if you classify yourself as owner operator/sole proprietor and not LLC or INC..IRS can come after personal assets...please beware...many people lose a lot from not knowing. I am retired now and haven't ever seen a lease purchase program work in favor of the driver. Just saying.

What you should do is a video on people who have completed their lease and own the trucks if there are any you've been doing this program long enough you should have at least a hundred if you're really interested in the driver succeeding

Certain contracts do not work on your favor - apparently this one will set you up for failure it doesn’t matter how much Blood you put into it , you will be a Slave to a debt you can’t pay off until you quit or prove everybody else wrong and go work for hurricane and give your version of the story.

The people in the offices act like your a disease, almost everyone is standoffish, Then while on home time, I was hospitalized from a car accident. They sent someone to my house, took the truck. Piss on them.

You can take the truck home if its on their lane of travel and if you are home more than 48 hrs you get penalized $200 per day. If i remember correctly fired after 72 hrs

Remember your Eddie had an orange extinction ord ran from his office acroos the driveway into the 1st trler then down the hall to each room and out to the next all the same way. The truck turned in and the people gad to get out and your dad was out there trying to get cords up b4 the fire department 🚒 got there and seen this. Back then i didnt realize what he was doing then i thought about year down the line. Those people could have been killed who leaved there..

One time the only way i got payed i had to shut the truck down with a load till EDDIE KEADON DAD PAYED ME BY ACCIDENT. I left home in GA going to AR to pick up a load on Friday to del in CA. But i got loaded an came back home to GA. EDDIE realized iwas calling in for fuel money he called me to see if i was going to del on time. I told him i was waiting on him to pay me it was a little over $ 3000.00 he owed me. He told me i need to learn to count my money. I told him he need to learn to count so he wanted to call me back after counted the books. He did and said he had my pay. I told him i would leave soon as he payed me. So it told him i need to go to truck stop get a comchek. When i called him back i was standing in the bank with the check while he gave me the code i was having the teller run it through b4 he canceled it. He heard her say it went through and almost had a passed out. I did the load an trun in the truck. At that time keadon was beening trained to be a crook. This was when they were out on 412 in Arkansas. I bet he remembers this.

Well if I was a company that wanted to grow and make as much money as I could I would hire qualified owner operators also I have a 2022 389 peterbilt and you guys said that you wouldn't hire me only if I buy a truck from you. Well to me that's not good business it's about control and making money off of those guys 1500 to 2000 a week take home isn't much money at all those are company driver wages. You flash the shiny new truck and lights in front of them and they bite make them put 20 percent down to buy the truck so they have some equity in the purchase but I guess if you do that then you lose the control that you want.
Experienced drivers with 10 to 30 years of OTR are quitting Hurricane left & right. Hurricane has a 10% retention rate or less. He'll be lucky if he has 100 trucks OTR by next year. Hurricane pays on a sliding scale depending on Fuel Prices, Your MPG, & miles driven on a 5-week average. Most Former Hurricane drivers are now making double $ elsewhere...

You govern the trucks down on power and set the max speed at 70mph, 75mph if you have 10 years OTR experience and all that experience is only worth an extra $.05 per mile. Absolute joke. I bet with the cost of fuel and running a reefer your probably looking at almost $1.25-$1.50 a mile in fuel alone. Not sure how a driver is expected to make anything after you take your cut.
