My 92 RS inspires to be something like this one day. Once I finish fixing my house, I'll contact you guys for sure!
We'll be here when you're ready
That car is utterly Amazing! And that is coming from a Corvette owner! Bad Ass!
Saved to my sleep sounds playlist.
That car sounds amazing. Love a high rpm engine.
I need that race suit in blue and yellow
sweet music to my ears
For sure!
This guy heel, toe and left foot breaking was super cool....
For sure!
Holy shit! Thats one hell of a car.
Thanks!
I need that steering column
How anyone could see this and still want to drag race is beyond me.
I normally don't give Gen3's a second look because they've aged out of car seen.
But this car alone, could spark renewed interest in the platform.
Agreed!
the interest never left....
Love the sound! You guys always have such amazing builds. Couple questions. What model steering wheel is that? I live the depth of the dish. And 2. Can you help me understand the braking technique? Was he having knockback? Btw Kyle's 2nd gen is my favorite build. Love hearing that car at the Columbus goodguys on the Autox course.
This steering wheels is a Max Papis Innovations MPI-DO-14-SB. As far as the braking technique, the left foot braking stems from Kyle's previous dirt track racing experience. It's just muscle memory at this point.
Detroit Speed, Inc. Thank you! Kyle is a hell of a driver. I do drivers events in my 02 z06, but I'm about 30% of his skill level. Thanks for answering me.
Amazing car and sound. You guys hit this out of the park. I’ve actually purchased a few parts from you guys for my 3rd gen Camaro recently. What kind of steering system does this car use? I’ve been looking at the Detroit tuned steering rack you guys sale and was wondering if this car uses that.
This car utilizes our Detroit Speed 600 steering gear. We have modified the cars frame to allow for the box in a 10:1 ratio.
Detroit Speed, Inc. Thanks for the info.
This revs as high as a NASCAR motor, yes?
Sounds brutal !!
We have the limiter set to 8,500 to keep it safe.
Killer!
Where can i find more info on the motor build?? That's EXACTLY what i want in my next 3rd gen build!

Cool! What was the time?
Where can I find good floor pans?
You can most likely find good pans from Auto Metal Direct on Summit or JEGS.
Is there any way to contact you via email? I can’t find a dash and where my crossmember bolts to the car is completely rusted out all the way to the frame so I’m assuming my seat bracket is toast too is there a place to buy these things or do I just have to fab something up?
Samuel, you can contact us at tech@detroitspeed.com for all technical related questions.
how much does it cost to build an IROC like that?
about $100,000........engine alone is 30k+,trans close to $10,000,rear end 5 grand, suspension is $15,000-$20,000...then the cooling ,electrical, fuel delivery etc and the $5000+ seats
