Great list! I'm not a fan of the "Brick heads", but I like that Lego had smaller, more affordable sets in the series. The only change I would make is that I think the Tower of Orthanc, despite the number of mini-figures was a far more fun, and involved build than Helm's Deep, which was actually quite basic. That said, I loved that Helm's Deep wasn't as absurdly priced as I expected it to be at the time.
Fair enough. The lack of figs for that price does bother me. But I do also get what you mean about helms deep being abit basic. But I love it for what it is haha
Great reasoning and rationale, I agree with all of these rankings. Rivendell, Helms Deep and the Ent in Orthanc definitely deserve the top spots. Also of my noted favourites are 2 Hobbit sets: Bag End and The Lonely Mountain

For me Aragorn and Arwin is a perfect match for a set. The only Brickheadz pair I would buy. But yes, Gandalf and Balrog are much more detailed.
Rivendell 6000+ pieces 1000 of those are roof. Loved the build but those tiles man it was rough lol

honestly, like the films, the LOTR sets are mostly flawless and so enjoyable to build and play with.

Yeah man can’t wait for that. But I think a 3 pack of Aragorn Legolas and gimli would have sold far better than Aragorn and Arwen
