I'm a double sink person too, can't imagine having one large sink, but I guess you can get used to anything. I have a utility sink in my laundry room, that's what I use when I have HUGE pots and pans to wash.
I'm allweys think that when you move the laundry will overfloading all the beaddings the towels the rugs the blankets the clothes the trow blankets and everything
Put a basin inside of your sink. There are super cheap ones but I know there are some you can buy that would be nice to look at. Stick that in the left side of your farmhouse sink, and place your rinsed dishes in there! Easy to clean/disinfect/wash.
I went from a two basin sink at my old apartment to a one basin in my new house and honestly I don't even miss the second basin. I rinse off the pile of dishes and they go straight into the dishwasher which is motivating for me since I'd put them in the other basin, see the huge pile still in the sink, and lose motivation to put them in the dishwasher.
My kitchen sink as big as a baby tub. My hubby wants this sink because easier to wash fan parts from our fans. I am a Chinese quite often I use my wok for cooking🍜🥡🥢🔪🍽️🍚. More space in big sink will make washing dishes easier too👍 Give a try🤓 My uncle whom did our renovation 20 years ago did asked if this big sink is meant for my 3rd baby ?😆 I have a boy and girl like you.
