Yep, we've owned our Haval H2 Lux for three years, couldn't be happier. The car still looks brand new. The car is very comfortable on a long trip. Exceptional value for money, has a list of features as long as your arm and costs around $6000 less than other makes. I'm sure the price will be going up on new models as they seem to have been gaining market share especially in the RSA.
Hi Will, thanks, yes indeed. The H9 has the same engine, tuned up to 180kw. Apparently it is a toyota block, and Mitsubishi turbo. Not a bad combination.
@@Africasideways Thanks for your reply. Do you have any knowledge on the third generation H6 thats coming out this year? I was thinking about waiting for the new model to hit Australia instead of buying the 2nd generation
I'd rather get the outgoing model with the issues ironed out at a cheaper price, than be the guinea pig for the new model. Would be great if an AWD version was available.
How's the long term ownership so far? A certain Rashaad Jeffery seems to have experienced a number of issues not only with the car but also with haval SAs aftersales service
Jolion is the updated version of H2 coming out 2021, not too sure about the H6s. But they do have a updated version of H6 coming out together with Jolion this year as well.

Thanks for your experience Joanne.
Many thanks. This is a most practical review of the H6 and answers a lot of questions especially what it's like in the real world.
Thanks, glad it was helpful.
Great review! The beeps would drive me nuts. Is there a way to deactivate the chimes on the cruise control?
Thanks, Not that I know of
would love to see a review of the new 2021 AWD h6 off road
Me too!
Very nice review keep it up!
Thank you.
How did you adjust the speed limiter beeps?
On the steering wheel, you go into the menu. Set it for 210km/h so it would never go off :)
Great review mate. Can you tune this car? Thanks from Australia

I've not seen that, reliability and aftersales is always the defining factor of any car that wants to compete with Japanese.

Does the h6 2020 have navigation
Thanks from Australia!
Hi Hayley, No sat nav.
How long will it last. Does SA have room in the scrapyards for all the junk?
They said the same thing about the Japanese cars in the 70s, only time will tell.
What's the difference between Jolion, H2, H6, and H6C?
Size and luxury levels.

Why there's no AWD version? This is pisses me off!!
Ja, they missed a beat
LMAO, today even weed-smoking homeless guys can start a car reviewing channel.
sounds like you're speaking from experience
Robin Bell, not you :)
