The Spider-Man animatronic is also my favourite, really impressive and it opens so many possibilities for future attractions.
Imagine what you can do with an animatronic that can move this freely!
Maybe we will one day have *trackless animatronics* so to speak, that can freely move without hidden wires and electronics.
My least favourite animatronic meanwhile is Buzz Lightyear.
I don't like protected faces and his movements are ironically *too fluid* for me.
Buzz is supposed to be an action figure so his fluid and human like movements feel wrong and distracting.

There needs to be a major breakthrough in battery technology, for that, (hopefully the solid state battery tech by 2024/2025 if it passes all the safety checks you might get them walking about for 20-40 minutes.
To be fair that's actually suppose to be a legit human buzz based off his show.

My favorite animatronic at Disneyland? Murphy, hands down. Not just because of how impressive she is, but also for sentimental reasons as well. When she had her accident back in 2010, what I decided to do was to make a get-well drawing for her and then have it delivered to the crew of Fantasmic to give it to her (I know she's an animatronic, but I like to think of her as having feelings). A month after the drawing was delivered, she returned to the show.
Although Murphy's definitely tied with the Kylo Ren animatronics and the Spider-Man stunt animatronic at this point.
I think you might need to make a new drawing due to what happened semi-recently

The Rocket animatronic is literally my favorite and a highlight whenever I go to Disneyland!

Okay but I have to wonder: is the rooftop cushioned? Because even if the robot does land perfectly doesn’t mean it’s not gonna somewhat suffer from constantly being flung onto something

I love the Hondo animatronic! I was amazed at how well he was brought to life (being a fan of the Clone Wars show, it was even more magical to see him irl)
I got to see him once and a short trip and yeah, when I commented on how cool of an animatronic he was out loud, more than one person in the room with me literally would not believe me-they thought it was a real actor and that I was the crazy one 😅
Roz gets no love? Ah, she's lovely with her wonderful interactions! Underrated attraction that Monsters is, I get it but she is so fun to interact with! Always watching!

Kinda surprised you didn’t mention Harold from the Matterhorn. He may be there for only a second and gone in a flash, but he’s really fluid and a great addition to the ride.
Quick appearance but he is so real and well designed he make me soil my pants 😂 as I go by and I don't scare easy.
His upgrades were amazing! The old Harold was a bit awkward... poor guy.
It wasn't brought up in this video, but the now defunct giant yeti is actually my favorite.
Also, it's interesting to see that the Spider-Man stunt-tronic is capable of potentially making more classic Spider-Man poses. Unfortunately, but understandably, Disney is playing it safe and having it only do the same one symmetrical movement through the air. Even though we never get to see it in the finalized version of the show it's just cool knowing what this thing can potentially do.
Walt would be VERY proud! They have always "plussed" their tech. It's one thing to make an incredible machine. It's another to tell the story with that machine! I'd say Ursula , Rise of Resistance & Smugglers Run. Spiderman & Murphy (because you can't get close to them) but, they are sooooo EPIC!
I just got back from Disneyland last week! One of the greatest experiences of my life!
If Spider-Man is flying as an animatronic, shouldn't we be expecting TinkerBell to be also, in the nightly fireworks show?
I was so confused when I wasn't getting every word spot on in the intro, normally I'll recite it with you lol! Now I have to memorize the new intro every time every time you post a new video, suppose it's a good excuse to binge future videos :D

The Rise of the Resistance animatronics are my favorite. It’s incredible to see how advanced animatronics have become!

I think we've reached a point in which a robot can easily be mistaken to be human. Newer robots at Disney will be using Boston Dynamics's walking, running, jumping, and backflipping robot technology. I'm sure the eventual goal for Disney will be to get rid of most or all human actors and replace them with long lasting, hyper realistic robots. Heck, in some cases you can see that the animatronics are more fluid and "lifelike" than a real person. It's kinda funny because i kept telling friends "hey you know how cashiers are being replaced by automatic ones, yeah, actors will be replaced by robots in this decade".
That stunt spiderman is a robot? Damn i thought it was a really well paid stuntman

The Buzz Lightyear animatronic definitely has had a lot of issues I know in the past.

My fav animatronic is Jack Sparrow from pirates of the Caribbean because he looks sooooo real! And the Spider-Man is AMAZING!
Can you imagine if these imagineer animatronic creators were hired to create FNAF animatronic Park?! They'd bring the fear and amazement of freddy springtrap and foxy and others to life with such horror and fluidity of movement it would be amazing! I hope someone does this ❤

I FIRST THOUGHT THE SPIDER MAN ANIMATRONIC WAS JUST A VERY TALENTED ACROBAT OR GYMAST OR SOMETHING- I CANT BELIEVE DISNEY HAD THE ABILITY TO BUILD A ROBOT THAT CAN FLIP AND MAKE A PERFECT LANDING HOLY CRAP-
I’ve never once gotten to watch the doom buggies “fall” off the balcony because the hatbox ghost terrifies me and I have to close my eyes, they definitely did a good job of making him scary lol

So sad! I just left the Star Wars Galactic Star Cruiser, where you’re guaranteed to ride Rise of the Resistance AND Smugglers Run, but both the Hondo AND Kylo Ren animatronics weren’t working and both rides were in show mode B

1 a video of all the hidden secrets and stuff of the Disney cruises. Would match great with the new ship coming out soon.
2 Disney games released throughout the years
Considering there's been nothing for Disney Games since I think Tron Legacy's lot came out to my knowledge, that would be an interesting list.
I'm thinking of next year binging all the Disney games I can find on every console I can, even if I have to emulate it due to region locking or basic unavailability. (Nevermind cost for whatever console The Black Cauldron was on back in the 8-bit days if it's even buyable and usable!)

When I visited Disney's Hollywood Studios in Florida, I was a part of a very cool Star Wars tour around the park. I was told that the C-3PO animatronics in Star Tours were made from actual gold (forgot how many carats).
omg I remember when the Hatbox Ghost moved back into the mansion! My sister and I had been fans of him for a while, and while we knew he was coming back, we had no idea when it would happen. So when we went to the diamond celebration during September 2015, we, of course, went on Haunted Mansion Holiday (a yearly tradition for my family). Turning around to see that Hatbox Ghost in the flesh for the very first time is a memory that will stay with me forever.
