The Rex segment made me sad, especially the part when he lights up and mutters his quotes from Star Tours. It's funny how he's labeled as defective, being that in Star Tours, he drove the tour in a wrong direction.

I never got to see the whole thing before because I was always so scared of the loud thunder near the beginning as a kid, so my dad always had to take me outside cause I hated it so much lol.

What exactly is Funnicello?
Thank you for bringing up that old restaurant at MGM. I have a hilarious story from there and I could never remember what restaurant it was! It must have been the late 90’s, but as Quasimodo was walking away after he came to our table, his pants fell down! We all thought it was part of the show and thought it was hilarious, but a few minutes later a manager came out to every table to apologize and give out fast passes, so it was definitely a costume malfunction. My mom and I still talk about it to this day. I could never remember what the restaurants was called, so thanks!

"The Enchanted Tiki Room-Under New Management!" is the version that I remember from my childhood going to Disney. I've always thought that Uh-Oa was really amazing and pretty, but remembering the first time I saw her pop out of the middle; she scared me to Heaven and back to Earth! 😂

Wouldn’t it be cool if they took the dinosaurs from Universe of Energy at Epcot and make the Dinorama at Magic Kingdom’s railroad. You know, they need a tunnel for the train to go under the train rollercoaster 😉.

Hey, when I went in the backstage tour in WDW, I got a neat picture with the polar bear! It’s not hidden, it just sits there. I think Disney could do more with this but it is what it is I guess.

when stitch’s great escape was still open in disney world, they reused some of the animatronics from the ride that was previously there.

I freaking love Sonny Eclipse. I'm SHOCKED he's been there for over twenty years, especially since he's not even a Disney character or part of a ride/attraction. He should've had his own series or movie...
He is a Disney character, he just isn’t based on existing IP. He’s had tons of his own merch over the years but I agree a show or movie would’ve been cool

You should do more fails of mascot characters
I think they should add Ah-Oah (Sorry if I spelled it wrong) into the enchanted Tiki Room again. Like, they should keep the majority of the show the same, but when they say that the Tiki Gods have been angered they should add a little segment for her. She was such a cool animatronic that I kinda grew up with (I was a kid when the "Under New Management" version of The Enchanted Tiki Room was around so I have a soft spot for that version.)

From what we found he isn’t a recycled figure since he never had a ride at Disneyland and the collector just seemed to be collecting stuff from Disneyland in California. It does however seem to be a nod to the marvel Figment comics though! :)

Honda’s robot ASIMO did shows at Disneyland’s Innoventions from 2005-2015, and now it is simply a figure installed on Disneyland’s Autopia track. It makes me sad to see it just standing out there exposed to the elements. Static sadness.
When I was small child I thought the human animatronics were real people. At the time that’s what I wanted to be when I grew up. I ended up teaching early childhood education

Whenever I go to star tours now I always salute captain Rex since I loved him when I was a kid. I heard they are bringing him back with the galaxies edge thing Disney is doing as a DJ at some place so I was super excited to here him come back.

3:06 for my birthday 2 years ago at Disneyland California, I found this animatronic in line on the star tours ride! It said some of his old lines and it was really cool to know that it was a recycled animatronic from the old version of the ride. :)

Decided to randomly watch this and when he mentions the camels spraying Danny Tanner (Bob Saget) just made my heart fall into the pit of my stomach considering yesterday it was announced that he passed away. RIP Bab Saget. A dad that most of us either wanted or never got. :-(

There’s a Figment in the Guardians of the Galaxy queue, too. He’s not as easy to find as Harold, but if you look up at the cages you can see his silhouette in a small box that sometimes turns purple.
I remember seeing the Aladdin parade as a kid, and even that Full House episode. I was disappointed that I was not spit on. By the time I returned to MGM, the Aladdin character dining was replaced with Pocahontas, so I never saw them. Eventually, as an adult, I would take my husband to WDW for his first time. I was walking through Adventureland and all of a sudden got soaked. I was extremely puzzled and looked around to see where on earth I could’ve gotten so wet? There they were! The camels! I was so happy to have been spit on! Delayed Magic right there. Took over a decade!
