She was absolutely beautiful in her heyday , great figure, stunning voice ...... there will never be another group as good as this. Colours of my Life is a brilliant song.
My heart is measurelessly bruised and wounded after learning of the passing on of Judith yesterday. I am in my 30s and I have been a fan of her and the seekers since childhood
A big YEP and she's ours, but I will give special dispensation to those outside of Australia, to love her to death like you and I do, and other Aussies do.
R.I.P Judith, thank you for brightening up our world with your beautiful voice and warm personality. This is a wonderful composition of Judith's, the closing track on the brilliant 'Seen In Green' Seekers album.
This is a beautiful song, and this is certainly the best performance of it on record. Judith sung it for the records, and for the ages,...and how beautiful she was....
I (born in '63) will never forgive myself for having come across Judith Durham only last year. last year. For me, she has the most beautiful voice on earth. Greetings from Germany.
I think it's worse if, as I did, you once knew of her, then forgot about her because you were too young to appreciate the quality of her voice and character.
@@donfotheringham3883 Don, for me, I didn't forget, but my wife was kind of jealous, so I just stopped listening to Judith for years. Back now for keeps. I have to say, Judith doesn't look well here, but she was on top of the world soon after, with her new solo career.
I kind of wish I was old enough to appreciate her music a bit more when i was a kid, but then again, that wonderful voice always evokes wonderful memories of a very happy childhood.
@@stewartfenton7660 Very perceptive observation, Stewart. Must have been so hard for her, yet here we have some of her best singing. She wrote that she bawled her eyes out once she got off stage, knowing that she was letting the Boys and the world down...but her leaving was just something that she needed to do.
In my case I only found the seekers in 2018, and immediately felt the impact of Judith's voice, dressed in that unforgettable green dress before the 200 thousand strong attendance in 1967.
@@osvaldoschilling9129 They're all so different. Mireille is another one who's beautiful, and another tiny, like a miniature supermodel - and not a bad singer either (RRR). Nobody's a patch on Judith for singing though, and she's also beautiful - in a totally unspoilt way: "girl next door" like no other. (I also like Julie and Nana, but they're all so _different_ that there's no _point_ in comparing them.)
On 7 August 2022 the world lost the it’s most beautiful voice & wonderful singing talent. For me Judith Durham was the Mozart, Rembrandt or Michelangelo of singing. A talent so utterly stupendous that I cannot help thinking it God-given or divine!.
Who was the lucky guy in the front row at 0.18? That 1968 performance of 'Colours Of My Life' would have to be, in my opinion, their most gorgeous rendition of ANY Seekers song, ever.
Maybe only had mirrors to see her face; she _was_ a little chubby about the face (just made her more adorable of course), so couldn't see much of herself full length (little or no video on those days), so couldn't see that in fact she was indeed slender and gorgeous. Never mind - she obviously didn't maltreat herself like poor Karen, and in fact had a pretty long life. During which she gave great pleasure to many. (I don't understand her voice: it seems to have a built-in echo. I used to think they added it, but it's natural. [I saw the 2014.])
A wonderful voice has come to an end, so sad, they'll never be another Judith Durham.
When you listen to Judith Durhan you feel the urge to go on listening, again and again.
Rest In Peace Judith 🙏
Judith Durham seems to belong to a different world. A world of endless beauty and class. Her voice raises the listener´s spirit to unreachable hights.

An Australian treasure is our Judith.

A world treasure, 10s of millions loved her!
I've always loved the Seekers & listen to them still.
Same here, the music of the 1960’s & even the 1970’s is far & much better than the garbage of today.
What a beautiful song, How I love Judith Durham and The Seekers. Thanks for posting!

I love their version of if you go away from that album

An angelic voice now gone to be with angels. Judith Durham RIP 05 August 2022.

One of the most spectacularly beautiful women ever!
In my eyes she is the most beautiful woman singer ever to step on stage

She was a great singer rest in peace

Beautiful woman....girl of my teen dreams
Judith co-wrote this song. RIP Judith - I will continue listening though probably not for another 50 years.
Judith!

I think I agree with you. Judith was absolutely stunning beautiful in the 1968 video and her voice and rendition defy description.
I keep discovering more and more of their recordings that I prefer over thier overplayed and over-hyped
"Another you."🎵😊👍👏🎵
🌈🌞🌈🌞🌈🌞
R.I.P. Judith....
How lovely 💕🌈🦋
SEEKERS are good music --thx rollf
Oh, and Judith co wrote this song!
Why did that cute, slender, wonderful woman think she was too fat. What a singer.
Probably the same as Karen Carpenter - one of the other unforgettable voices of the age.
