Rufus Sewell makes a brilliant Lord M. I love the interaction between Victoria and him. Being very likable and handsome doesn't hurt either. I can't wait for the next episode!!!

But he is so much more than Obergruppenführer or Oberst-Gruppenführer or Reichsmarschall or Reichsführer or Lord Melbourne or whatever. He’s a phenomenal actor and every single one of his roles are acted out brilliantly and beautifully with so much depth.

Bring back Lord M for season 2.....I know he faded into the background when she married Albert but the chemistry between the two of them is much better than her and Albert....
@@ilovebeinagirlblame the director 💀 they don't want to show the moody and bipolar victoria... instead they made Albert the one like that. shame considering they nailed the complexity of Lord Melbourne, he was compelling, even his enemies said that he didn't use Victoria, he genuinely cared for her, his enemies credited it because he didn't have daughter or kid of his own, they made it into a "love story" which no doubt comes from Victoria infatuation with him, while he was more reluctant

I know I'm late but ITA. The guy who plays Albert plays him like a creepy serial killer. All of their "love" scenes seem forced and staged.
