Did it yesterday and cannot describe what an awesome this event has left on my heart. This will be a day I will always remember for as long as I live. Coming from the region, I knew it was big as a spectator but it is not comparable to how you feel it like an athlete. Thank you for the movie, thank you, Walchshöfer family for making this possible, but most of all - thank you Roth and the Spectators for making this a moment to remember.
Für mich noch heute eines der schönsten Erinnerungen in meinem Leben. Es ist schon eine Weile her, 1991 und 1992 war meine Teilnahme. Noch heute ist mir die Herzlichkeit der Gastgeber in fester Erinnerung. Großartig!
I just did this race Sunday and the community is there from the beginning to the end. I was one of the last people to finish and the stadium was full. People kept cheering me on the run. It was amazing to cross that finish line.
Just back home to the UK from Roth 2024. Massive thanks to everyone who makes this race so special 🙏❤

2023 und 2024 musste ich meinen Start absagen - dieses Jahr bin ich als Volunteer dabei. Wahnsinns Veranstaltung - Du spürst in der Stadt und überall im Landkreis die Begeisterung.

Ja, Roth ist ein Megarennen, tolle Stimmung, ein Rennen für die Bucket list…aber dieses Wir-haben-uns-alle-lieb-Gerede der Challenge ist meiner Meinung nach immer etwas drüber. Sehr cheesy und zu sehr ‘ins Gesicht gedrückt’. No hate, habe Roth schon 2x in der Staffel gemacht und es war toll, aber irgendwie überdrehen die ihr Alleinstellungsmerkmal.
Dann empfehle ich Dir mal einen Start in Roth (falls Du das noch nicht gemacht hast). Da ist nichts aufgesetzt und man möchte sich bewusst abheben von der Ironman-Serie (wo es wirklich ausschließlich um Profit geht).
@@paddie.2615 absolut in Ordnung, fair enough 👍 War dort selbst schon 2x am Start. Mit wird einfach zu sehr draufgedrückt auf dieses Geschmalze - etwas Understatement wäre vielleicht angebracht (und dabei immer noch die Helfer würdigen)
@@cube04 dann sind wir wohl unterschiedlicher Meinung. Cheesy und nervig finde ich eher die Sache mit dem Jonas Deichmann. ;-)
Stay away from canyon!!!! customer service is the worst, they yelled( a guy called Raphael) at me for being angry that my new bike needs a new motor and it's going to take about 8 weeks. The bike has 800km a canyon torque on their "gravity oriented bike" it's an absolute joke.
