The decision making on that first game again mono red was masterful, I would've totally thrown that.
But to be fair, that mono red player had the worst draws ever.

The way the swords are pointed towards each other on the battlefield is oddly satisfying
The only proper way to dualwield swords is by crossing them above your head.

You mentioned Twinblade Geist as a substitute for Virtuoso, but why not Lizard Blades? It's a creature you could fetch with Kellan
Would also work, although probably wouldn’t need a full set.
Won't Lizard Blades fall off if they also have Forge and Frontier equipped as it's still a red equipment?
@@Dot_ElevenIt would, but it’s still a 1/1 Double Strike in its creature form. Being able to equip it occasionally is a bonus.
I really hate the art for Forge and Frontier. Looks like a toy sword

A Curse of Silence could be a cute one-of to fetch with Kellan if decks start to become more predictable. It's a shame that there are so many different playable board wipes in Standard now. It was definitely better when all you saw was Depopulate.
I did a quick search because of this comment and to my count there are about nine unconditional wraths in standard spread across black and white. That's wild.

I wish you'd sometimes play BO3s for decks like this where it's better in the format. Would make it easier to deck build (just copying the sideboard to start), but would also add variety to your video as well as showing insight into the sideboarding decision making between rounds. Just a thought, love the videos and can't wait to try this deck out :)
This is an interesting deck idea with those cool equipments, but I'd like to see you do more Boros decks with the heartflame duelist.
Very cool deck! I wanted to make sword of once and future work, but i was too married to all the equipment payoffs and couldnt sqeeze in enough instants/sorceries
Did you ever test with lizard blades or the for mirrodin cards? Great content.
I wonder if a one of eater of virtue as a cheaper tutor target that just gives more power to a double striker, or sometimes turns a token or heartflame duelist a 3/1 or 5/1 double striker is any good.
Anyways, very creative deckbuilding. It’s so rare to see equipment actually play out like this.

Draconic destiny would be a nice one of vs white to give flying. Also gives haste, pump and can be recycled
Not a bad choice, although most white decks would exile our creatures in which case we wouldn't get it back from the graveyard.
@@LegenVDtalkin' bout: swinging in for lethal with your double strikers real quick after wipe, esp if you went off with the red sword b4. Recursion is a nice lil bonus but not the main use case.

It's not a huge thing but in the first game I noticed you didn't wait for your opponent to pass final priority before removing their creatures. If you did so you could potentially bait out a pump spell.

So out of 9 matches you only lost one but the deck is still somehow a 7 out of 10? I watched the whole video you can't fool me.
The MVC is a card rating, not a deck rating and it's also very subjective.
For accurate win rates check out Untapped in about a week, I expect it to be below 50%.

This isn't a knock against LVD or anything but is anyone else getting a RIDICULOUS number of ads in these videos lately? I used to really enjoy watching these videos as a way to relax since the creator has a very soft, pleasant voice and doesn't have wild outbursts of excitement or salt like other content creators do. I'd often even fall asleep to them, but now I'm getting double ads literally like every 5-8 minutes in these videos and the ads are often extremely loud and obnoxious which is jarring when contrasted against such a quiet video and makes relaxing impossible.
So... I think I'm really evil sometimes. I've thought about doing it before, but never put it into practice. End the game with a Play with Fire to the face, then don't resolve the scry. Instead, you rope.
